Yes we lack a maintenance culture and we shouldn't be embarking on projects without properly training a workforce to carry out the much needed routine maintenance. We should always invest in manpower training as it saves cost in the long run

Buhari is not single handedly running the economy. The recommendations aren’t his on and surely the implementation will be delegated to the economic team.

Anyhoo, here are some practical ideas

Organise a team away day to address the obvious unease present with your new team. The theme of the away day should be centered around team bonding and market strategy

Open a communication channel with the team and encourage them to share their concerns/worries in privacy whilst ensuring all raised concerns are channelled through to the decision makers

Employ flexible policies where reward/money is at premium. You can work with the management team to offer them training that will help them with their career going forward

Above all, how do you expect your team to be motivated if your strategic input/stewardship lacks positive direction?

Currently, the standard treatment for Stage IV ovarian cancer consists of both surgery and chemotherapy. Unfortunately, less than 10% of patients experience long-term survival following standard treatment. This is because Stage IV ovarian cancer is difficult to completely remove with surgery and the currently available chemotherapy is unable to eradiate all of the remaining cancer but can prolong the patients life and improve overall survival.

A close friend of mine recently had some of her organs removed because of this same ovarian cancer that has started spreading.

Stage 4 means it has spread to vital organs hence why it's termed terminal
