MadCow1: Look.. Somebody else pays you that interest.
Just call it 'a money ferris wheel'....
The day it crashes, people will only lose their actual investments they have put in at that time and nothing more. My advice is dont put in money that you can't afford to lose without recourse. So don't borrow to partake in it, dont pack your entire investment and don't bankrupt yourself to join.
If you have spare cash sitting down in an account that aint doing shiit for you and aint growing, then you can gamble with that.
MMM is a Gamble.. All Gambles carry a risk. Gamble wisely.
But what I assure you is that right now, that darn thing is paying. Interest derived from money borrowed from other participants? It's simply a pyramid scheme High risk high return investment with absolutely no safety net |

Politics › Re: Okonjo-iweala May Not Be Guilty Of Fraud — Joda by jaybee3(m): 3:43pm On Sep 14, 2016 |
djon78: I have read a lot of comments before making mine.
Jonathan did a lot of wrong things, but the reason why Nigerians economy was better off was not really about the oil earnings, it was simply because of the high number of technocrats he had in his administration; Okonjo Iweala, Akinwunmi Adesina, Olusegun Aganga etc.
This present administrations biggest problem is dearth or small number or even no technocrats in her supply. IN addition, majority of Jonathan's technocrats where coming from outside the country, with lots of experiences from having worked in foreign institutions, so they had a full grasp of the entire situation.
Why I mentioned technocrats with foreign experience is because these are the people Nigeria needs presently to turn around her fortunes. Nigeria as a nation is so disconnected from the global economy and markets,Nigeria has so much opportunity still going for her, if Nigeria gets her act right, she can spring up to become a big major economy in the world within a space of a decade or 2. But for Nigeria to transform a lot of bureaucracy, fat cats, redundancy must give way. We must get the best of the best to run our systems, not mediocre, ignorant and half baked individuals. We are in an era in the world where knowledge reins supreme, therefore we as a nation have no reason dealing with super ignorant folks running our system. Time is ticking, we must get it right, because if we fail as a nation, a time will come when other parts of the world may not even tolerate us anymore. There is so much going for this nation, a word is enough for the wise.
We as a nation must seek for the best form of knowledge out there, we must completely overhaul our education and economic system, I will say it again, we need to get the best of the best, because those we have now have never really handled massive, complex task before and then they think they can handle the precarious situation the nation is in now. I rest my case.
Thanks bla bla bla bla So they singularly delivered your phantom economic growth without having using career civil servants who are probably still serving the current government as we debate Don't you understand the simple dynamics of economics? Phew |

feelamong: "With no OMO maturities next week, the PMA will be the main driver of market sentiments. On offer are N48.1bn, N48.5bn and N86.7bn on the
91-day, 182-day and 364-day bills respectively; indicating additional borrowing of N86.7bn. We therefore expect a mildly bearish market outlook.
Renewed institutional and retail client interest in T-Bills may however sustain."
This is a small bit from one of the reports i get from one of the banks...
This clearly means that the rates would remain high at the Auction Would have thought a hawkish outlook is +ve for rates but then again demand sometimes drives the market so it's all coolio |

Money being important shouldn't be the underlying reason for your career decision.
What's the point in earning big if the job doesn't offer investment in your developmental goals nor provide the much needed job security
The present company obviously values your contribution hence the reason why they renegotiated your salary.
Let your eventual decision align with your career goals
All the best |

Abagworo: I guess most people aren't aware that Buhari inherited a pinned exchange rate. That was one of the most stupid economic decisions Jonathan used to put Nigerians in a mirage because of political ambitions. The others are subsidy, waivers and financial recklessness. Buhari is doing great by removing these leakages one after the other and it will lead us to actual progress in future and not a mirage.
https://www.nairaland.com/2816697/oby-ezekwesili-blasts-cbn-governor Currency pegging is a common practice within export dependent economies. However, it was necessary to peg our currency since we lack basic infrastructures as well as being unable to produce enough food to sustain the economy. Allowing Naira to free float would be suicidal considering we are import dependent. |

A girl entertaining you whilst being in a relationship obviously isn't satisfied which doesn't necessarily guarantees you of a preferred outcome
You have to acknowledge the fact that you understand her current status Reassure her of your supreme quality called patience Indicate you had still value her friendship either way
Then play the waiting game without necessarily allowing yourself to be friend zoned |

Why do you think that should be difficult for someone who already showed the receipt for her tee shirt? Na so the boyfriendS go just dey explore all angles of her body for her to make the money for the N2 million fake bag. Mtchew!!! cococandy: I do know that. But not that really outrageous to spend on a designer product you like. You sef know.
Well in this context of spending on designer products. Usually whoever is reporting the gist will like to convert it to naira so that the news will be more sensational. They won't say 1k dollars, instead they will say 350k Naira (or whatever) So that the readers will be more upset. You have to be just about above middle class to comfortably afford $1k bag without flinching Look at it from the context of minimum wage and % of those in that wage bracket. Oya come and buy me one now coco |

cococandy: Pls naira has no value. You people should stop calculating the value of things based on their naira value. So if I buy a bag worthy $1k dollars now somebody will carry my matter for head that I'm spending hundreds of thousands of naira on one bag. Meanwhile it's just not as hyped as it sounds when the money is converted to naira. Stop the converting and petty calculations. Let people live their lives. $1k is still a lot of money though #Just saying |
Crime › Re: Nigerian Arrested For Forging Ghana Chief Of Staff’s Signature (PICT by jaybee3(m): 9:52am On Sep 07, 2016 |
peculyachi: actually, it is these criminals that serve as secret agents in topnotch countries....cos they know the in and out of certain crimes, hence the ability to infiltrate a gang or cartel without suspicions by members of the gang or cartel. I’m really trying hard to reply you without coming across as condescending but let me try sha Do you understand the reason why they do detailed scrutinisation of would be applicant’s background (Be it financial and association)? Do you understand the dynamics of loyalty and likelihood of being compromised because of shady past? However, there is a clear difference between allowing arrested criminals to use full corporation for a lesser sentence and employing known criminals to learn their trade and in turn stay ahead of the curve. The former is a bargaining tool and as such would probably attract full corporation since there is something to gain for the criminal involved whereas there is no way in hell they had be able to allow a criminal with no sense of integrity have full access to intelligence materials and/or futuristic technologies used in combatting crime. |

joseph1832: You fail to know the U.S government often times recruit this so called fraudsters through the back door and use them to burst bigger fraudsters. You can't be employed as a secret agent if your integrity is questionable besides felons usually find it almost impossible to get jobs after serving time. Forget about frank abergnale or whatever character leonado di caprio played. Yes they learn from the crimes in order to safeguard from future attacks but they don't employ them to sensitive posts because they can be compromised |

joseph1832: The skill needed to manipulate any human is just guts.
I believe anybody who have the nerve to do crime, as far as it isn't a misdemeanour, have guts.
And guts is what it normally take for any man to infiltrate and gather information from terrorist cell and crime organisations. Guts or better still courage isn't a skill. It's simply a personal attribute You need the following skill set to work efficiently as an undercover/Investigative analyst Ability to analyse qualitative/quatitative data Ability to process information and arrive at logical conclusion in record time since the field is expected to be dynamic and fluid Ability to communicate effectively to diverse audience Extreme Intergity |

I wonder why the FG didn't spot this people and use their skill for deceit to infiltrate those groups causing trouble in the Niger Delta and North East.
These guys would no doubt have come in handy in our intelligence agencies were top notch. Please list the skills you think might be valuable to the Government ? You don't need any skill to manipulate a greedy or desperate person |
