What's the difference between an IPAD and a galaxy tablet?

You are being overly unrealistic IMO
A headline figure s such will def get peeps uniterested hence the reason why i have been canvassing for agreement on things that needs doing and agreement in principle on how we go about it.

What guarantees you the man wouldn't start having the idea of having a second wife one he receives the dosh?
Dude needs to be empowered and that doesn't necessarily have to do with money.

Probably best not to put a ceiling figure to what needs raising.
What y'all need to agree on is what needs doing and how you go about executing 'em to the best of y'all's abilities.
Money is the least of the problem here

we need to know how much apt cost before anything and also what area they want to move to
All they need is a single room
Area shouldn't be high on priority.
Empowerment should be the order of the day cos without that you'd just render them useless as well as being another freeloader.
Surely Mr Obuh must possess one skill or the other so helping him find an unskilled work shouldn't be a problem.
The wife's business can be expanded with a lil dosh as well. More pure water = more profit kinda thing
FamilyRe: Man Raises Family Under Lagos Bridge by jaybee3(m): 2:10pm On Nov 14, 2011
Rent payment and any sort of empowerment will surely help this couple.

@ jay bee
d reason why education can be a barrier is cos most ladies here tend to think deir husband or bf is a source of finance for them.
also your level of thinking, perspective and mature matters in a relationship, so 4 me my hubby or bf must be educated.
Agreed but u have to agree with me that education <> finance. It only put's you in a better enabling position.
We as human focus too much on things that aren't necessarily worth the while.
What's gone wrong with the good old cliche "LOVE IS BLIND"

maclatunji:
I am not sure you understand the stress that comes with tertiary education/NYSC in Nigeria. It is enough to break any relationship by itself.
My point is stress or no stress, education ought not to be a stumbling block when looking for ONE.
I hope u know age ain't a barrier in education. Nothing wrong with marrying a ssce holder who might be willing to upgrade once married.
IslamRe: Muslim Singles, Let Us Have A Talk by jaybee3(m): 4:23pm On Nov 11, 2011
maclatunji:
Obviously, you would want to finish your HND/Degree and then NYSC. Don't you think these things would hamper any relationship with anybody, even if you want to be so serious?
I beg to differ with regards to the above post sir. Different strokes for different people. Infact most (wide generalisation) men would rather marry a presentable, obedient woman as oppose to an educated egocentric one who might not necessarily fit the bill.
Looking for a husband or wife shouldn;t be a game of chess. Discover if both potentials have common ground and are willing to work collaboratively to a common goal then see as the relationship blossoms and in turn develop into something great.

I'd rather marry an uneducated woman who is presentable and above all obedient and extremly supportive.
I hope you know it's mostly in 3rd world countried that education is gold.
Education is good but shouldn't always be the determinant factor when dealing with the matters of the heart.

PoliticsRe: Why Do Ladies Shy Away From Politics & Political Discussions? by jaybee3(m): 5:14pm On Nov 10, 2011
Ok here is another handle to look at it, It certainly ain't only the females that aren't bothered about the political section as i know quite a few goons that would rather stay on the sideline whilst observing from afar for various reasons i.e.
What's the point in engaging people when most political section posts either have tribalism undertone or just regurgitated arguments with no end insight?

Why engage people whose number one aim is to cause trouble or better still relive their frustrated lives on the WWW?

Could it be that under shoiwng their political savvinness isn't classed as being productive in their respective dictionaries. Afterall most have the hardest job in town. Combining 9-5 jobs with added responsiblity of being a wife and mother in most cases ain't for the faint hearted

Above all, why bother engage, salivate, waste precious time about affairs of a country that's in the hand of the devil and ain't changing anytime soon?

Arguing over Nigerian politics is absolute waste of time and i believe there are other sections on NL where more intelligent discussions are being heard on a daily basis eg Family section

One thing u aren't weighting very well is the issue of Choice. Because you love someone doesn't mean that love has to be reciprocated. Love is by choice not by force

@mac
I have been silently following the various ramblings on this thread hence my assertion

toba:
Yes its not healthy but Love too is unfair and people get obsessive cos of the unfairness of LOve.
Love is by choice though so nothing unfair about that.
People let themselves to get to the levels that in turn can become harmful to health

Don't ever seek love, let it find you or better still develop naturally

So long you don't let your obsession get overboard then nothing do you.
Obsession ain't healthy but we all have different reasons to be driven
IslamRe: Muslim Singles, Let Us Have A Talk by jaybee3(m): 2:27pm On Nov 10, 2011
maclatunji:
Obsession is not healthy in terms of any matter. You need to let the person breathe and live as an individual before they can add value to you in a relationship.
Are you sure you practising what you are preaching bro?
