This figure has been overbloated because of the current exchange rate of world currencies to the naira.

Case in point is the USD to naira conversion which is tending towards N1,000.

This means that if Nigerians in diaspora send USD 1Million for just September, they'd have sent around NGN 1Billion in total, when converted.

That nurse's life has changed forever, irrespective of whether her actions were the cause of death or not.

This is one of the reasons I've always been against "learning" nursing and midwifery from a hospital, instead of going to an accredited school.

There you must pass professional board exams and be certified before you inject someone.

It's a lesson to everyone, don't let anyone just inject you in the name of being a "Nurse".

And most importantly, make our eye nor see bad thing.

Good point made but that's half of the job in my opinion.

The process of sending parcel abroad should be made genuinely as simple as ABC to allow genuine exporters start small and grow big without burdening the central purse for dollar thus weakening the Naira.

The likes of Dangote who love monopoly out-muscle small businesses in the forex jostling process. And because they are monopolists don't want to face Iintl competition so do not earn their own forex as much as they should.

This admonition should be supported with cost friendly export process void of rent seeking civil servants.

The State university lecturers have made their points known, in solidarity with the national ASUU. This is not a good time to lose any job, though I know sacking them will be difficult.

Above all, they should consider their students. Allow ASUU national fight the FG, while giving background support.
