Did you think before you wrote this?
I hope you know that the marketing impact of the alliance on the company is beyond 29 million dollars?
Are you talking about the impact of the UK Government sanctions in general or that of the sponsorship deal with Manchester United because if it's the latter, it has very minute consequences.

Look how blacks are benefitting from the west they hate on nairaland.. cheesy

No matter how you try to paint it the so called west you hate is helping the world mostly blacks indirectly..

Modified: goodheart01 said I should ask the weirdos hating on the west how many black men have been made judges or governors in Russia or China?? He said you blacks and Nigerians forget the black man has a better chance with the West than the aforementioned countries...
cheesy
True or false? tongue
So because they've appointed a few black puppets in their governments mean that they have made up for years and years of consistently looting and indirectly maiming the African economies?? Stick to talking about women's rights because you have no clue about the greed and hegemony of western capitalism. You think because UK lets in 300 Nigerians annually is enough reprisal for the resources of this country they have swallowed over the years.

And speaking of China and Russia, atleast they didn't colonize us, neither have they mindlessly built systems that drain the economic capabilities of African countries.

Ain't gonna lie I am enjoying Nigeria's military power..let them go to Russia so as to deal with that big head man.. cheesy

On a more serious note they are doing great and I really hope they destroy these bunch of weaklings..
Not sure what you're on about. But if you just referred to terrorists, with foreign access to wargrade ammunitions as weaklings, then I fear for your ignorance.
TV/MoviesRe: Which One Is Your Favourite Movie Among These 4 by JayCynic(m): 6:00pm On Feb 08, 2022
Merlin and The Legend Of The Seeker

I love myths, historical and autobiographical movies. Always gives me a feel of what the past and ancient times feel like.

I hate Titanic for obvious reasons.
PoliticsRe: President Buhari: Nigeria's Collective Future Rests On Active Participation by JayCynic(m):
"Nigeria's collective future lies in active participation in science and technology."

From the same man who has refused to sign an electoral bill that would make possible an electronic transmission of results.

From the same person that thinks Nigerian youth should go back to subsistence farming.

From the same idiot who's co-administrators are northern septuagenarians with little to no knowledge of science.

From the same guy who's successor is Tinubu. undecided Enough said
SportsRe: We Will Take Revenge On Senegal – Salah Tells Egypt Team Mates After AFCON Final by JayCynic(m): 12:50pm On Feb 08, 2022
If Salah had won this afcon, put together with his fantastic performances in the EPL, he'd be a very strong contender for the Ballon d'or award.
SportsRe: Issa Kabore Named AFCON Best Young Player by JayCynic(m): 12:33pm On Feb 08, 2022
After all said and done, nobody is talking about Maduka Okoye's good looks meanwhile Edouard Mendy is on his way to becoming the best goalie in the world while Gabasky is the most sought after Afcon player by European clubs.

Moral lesson: Focus on yourself kings, improve yourself, forget about women, don't prioritize them.

RomanceRe: How I Do Retrieve My Laptop From A Bitter Ex by JayCynic(m):
There' two ways about it

1) You either con her. Emotionally manipulate her, make her soft and vulnerable, pretend you love her, give her signs that you want her back, and you want to start all over. Then get your laptop and bolt. But then you have to be careful and realistic and make her not doubt your honesty.

2) You arrange police or thugs to ransack her apartment and get your laptop.

Tell them to focus on themselves and forget about this society's fraud called marriage. They'll say you're an immature boy and not a real man.

If this is real, I say he deserves every bit of the embarrassment.

Jobs/VacanciesRe: Is Mr. B A Good Friend Or A Bad Friend? by JayCynic(m): 2:45pm On Jan 21, 2022
All three of them are bad and terrible people in my opinion. How can you be earning 30k (60 dollars) in a whole month and be married with two kids?

You need to have atleast a monthly income of 300k before getting married talkless of begetting children.

Three of them are dumb and stupid men.

Kingcalls:
Ronaldo has the highest number of assists in champions league history...u dont see his fans talk about it cos its crap ... assists are meaningless without goals ... messi has never in his career scored the type of long range goals or long range freekicks Ronaldo has done in the past...

Let other players go and tap the tap na if e easy ....u dont know that anticipation is an attribute...

When it comes to penalties, u wudnt remember that he is 2 yrs ahead of messi shey??

Top scorer in international football history....Ronaldo

Top scorer in club football history....Ronaldo

Messi can keep on wiping his ass
Messi has more freekick goals and more outside 18 goals than CR7
Music/RadioRe: Wizkid's 'made In Lagos' Hits One Billion Streams In Under One Year Of Release. by JayCynic(m): 12:27pm On Oct 15, 2021
Akinfemmy:
Oga no spoil chike career oo.

Don't ever compare this dude to wizkid. They're not singing the same genre. If you want to praise chike do so without trying to rubbish someone hardwork. If e easy try enter studio release 1 track if it's nothing expectional. Moreover, you can never tell people what to listen or decide what they'd find entertaining.

If we compare soulful music. I can bet you chike himself won't make it to top 10. He sings nothing expectional.

It's even an insult comparing wizkid to chike who just started his career. If chike get opportunity to get one feature with wizkid. You and i know his life will change forever
Bro
Read with comprehension. I didn't compare their careeers, I compared their albums and I showed the criteria I used for comparison. It's like comparing Drake's CLB with Nas's KD2 or The Off-Season or The House Is Burning, Drake's might be more widely acclaimed but it can't touch those other albums bar-for-bar.

I don't use streaming numbers and popularity when analysing talent and music quality, reason why I don't debate people who are not technically involved in the craft.

Music/RadioRe: Wizkid's 'made In Lagos' Hits One Billion Streams In Under One Year Of Release. by JayCynic(m):
I'm not trying to hate on Wiz Kid or his achievements, more power to him and it gives me much joy to see an African act going this far. Much Respect to him.

But I've listened to this album from crown to sole, and I can say there's nothing exceptional about it. Lyrically and sonically I can't see what makes it outstanding from your regular Nigerian album. There's 3 or 4 really catchy songs, there's a really good song with Damian Marley and the rest are nothing mind-blowing. There's no solid background to the album, there's no leaning genre, there's no much lyricism. It's just good hype and marketing IMO.

If you want to talk about an excellent afropop wholesome, soulful album with the Nigerian ambience. Go listen to Chike's Boo Of The Booless, this was by far the Best Album of 2020

FamilyRe: Marginalisation: Women Playing The Victim Cards by JayCynic(m): 8:30pm On Oct 13, 2021
FreeIgboho:
The very system (culture, traditions, expectations. conditioning, etc) excludes them right from birth and even b4 birth. Male nurses is a good example - the same "thing" that excludes men from nursing also marginalizes women and excludes them from those other jobs, not because nursing is so hard!
Bullshit
There's nothing that excludes men from nursing, all you have to do to be a nurse is apply for an SON exams, get good grades, pass the interview, study for three years and come out with good grades and viola you're an RN.

Most men just don't want to be nurses because they just don't want to be nurses. Period

The people you’re addressing are too dumb for this conversation.
As if outlawing gender based marginalization automatically means everyone’s mindset has changed and men in authority will stop their discrimination against women.

It’s like talking to goats. They won’t get it
You're the one who is too delusional to accept reality.
If women are afforded equal opportunities as men, given the same rights as men, allowed to compete for leadership positions as much as men, accorded the same suffrage as men, allowed to own, administer and distribute wealth as men, allowed to be employed in the same jobs as men.

Women are allowed to do literally everything that men can do.

How then are women marginalized?

This is the summary of the thread. Contrary to claims by feminist, Nigerian men wants them to know that Nigerian women are actually working and make up a good percentage of the total workforce.

Feminist, take note. grin
You didn't have to edit my post, now you're just trolling. Okay bye
FamilyRe: Marginalisation: Women Playing The Victim Cards by JayCynic(m): 5:39pm On Oct 13, 2021
pocohantas:
It is not my concern, it is the summary of the thread. Nigerian woman are rich, independent and hard working. cheesy
No that's not true, it's your comprehension of the thread that is skewed to your own warped perspective.

The summary, the actual summary of this thread isn't of Nigerian women being rich, independent or hard-working.

It is that women who complain of being marginalized in reality have the same opportunities as men.

People, especially the feminists who say otherwise are liars and hypocrites.

Exactly, Nigerian women are hardworking. They are not oloshos. God continue to bless Nigerian women. Today Nigerian men have appreciated their hardwork. cry
It seems your major concern is that Nigerian women should be recognized and appreciated by Nigerian men for being hardworking and industrious, that's cool. But you only hear what you pay attention to.
SportsRe: Newcastle Utd Set To Become World's Richest Club After Saudi Takeover by JayCynic(m):
I've always said it that money is in levels. There are monarchs around the world that would make some really wealthy people's money look like change.

But look at these rich guys, they don't flaunt wealth on social media, they don't brag about their money, they don't slaughter 150 cows in a funeral, they don't celebrate second-hand lambo on Instagram live, they don't go ballistic like some Nigerian female celebrities.

Anyways PSG is proof that money doesn't win Rennes, talkless of winning trophies.

Just watch how they'll sign Messi or Ronaldo and people would proudly call themselves Newcastle fans
PoliticsRe: Full Text Of President Buhari’s 2022 Budget Presentation Speech by JayCynic(m):
Debt servicing is 3 trillion and you're borrowing 5 trillion, about 30% of your budget estimate to finance the budget itself. Absolutely clueless. Leaving us with an additional 2 trillion in outstanding debt. In order words, we are getting loans to pay our loans meaning that previous loans haven't been used for anything tangibly productive.

Internally generated revenue 10trn, 3.16trn from oil revenue (from the southern oil of course) 25% and non-oil taxes 2.13trn (we know which region generates more tax income.) As of 2021 the south contributed about 71% that which means 71% of the 2.13trn is from the south, that's 1.4trn plus 3.17trn, 4.4trn of our 10trn is directly coming from the south.

Do the math across the 63 government-owned enterprises, you'll find that the south generates more than 80% of our IGR, which at the end of the day is spent on rehabilitating funding terrorists and funding almajiri schools. All the north contributes to Nigeria is insurgency and cows, yet they take majority of top leadership positions.

Why shouldn't there be calls for secession?

PoliticsRe: Tight Security At NASS As Buhari Presents 2022 Budget by JayCynic(m):
Over 40 trillion naira spent misused in the past three years. Yet the country keeps going downhill.

A bulk of our budget is alloted to national security yet terrorists are invading the NDA with impunity to abduct and kill military men, Zamfara and Borno states are being overrun by bandits, Boko Haram hoisted their flag in Shiroro, numerous secondary school students are in the custody of dreadful kidnappers. It's quite laughable. Buhari's government is a failure.
