The problem is greed. NASU, ASUU and the Nigerian Federal government are just a bunch of hyper greedy entities who's interests are fixated on their purses alone. |
Zzor:My brother, you spend most of your time on nairaland making bait comments to get the reaction of the males dumb enough to provide you with your much needed attention, you thrive on all this drama. Even now that you're complaining about the negative comments you get, its all an attention demanding strategy. You're probably fugly and jobless in real life |
QueenEowyn:But you admit you're a man |
QueenEowyn:I heard you're a man with balls |
Screenshots of the threats or I don't believe it |
This is a weak man. It's not manly to let your emotions take the place of reason and logic in your mind. A rational man would have done a thorough investigation to arrive at facts before taking any action whatsoever. A rational man would never lay his hands on, talkless of killing a cheating partner. A rational man does the reasonable thing regardless of how he feels. Very sad that today's society has somehow played on the minds of men, telling them it's okay to be emotional and weak-minded, telling them that having your emotions under control and being logical is toxic masculinity. This is something a woman and weak men would do. R.I.P To The Dead |
Funny how APC glaringly identifies with corruption and corrupt individuals, covering up the dirt of crooked politicians that they share party ties with(Akpabio, Gwanduje, Amaechi, Orji-Kalu, Tinubu etc) whilst their adminstration claims it's fighting corruption. The irony of it all |
Can't pick sides cause I can't decipher the facts of the story. Two things I can ascertain: 1) Some Pastors are very manipulative 2) A desperate woman can do extreme things, lie, cheat, steal etc to get what she wants. |
While I believe the protest is thoroughly unnecessary at this particular moment, I do also believe that in a democracy, there is supposed to be freedom of assembly as long as no one is deliberately breaking any law. The arrests and the heavy police presence is cowardly, and uncalled for. Makes me think the government is frightened whenever citizens try to demand their rights. But las las, I don't understand what they are protesting for. What do I know? |
All these feminists that claim "I'm a strong and independent woman, who needs no man" Just one dude appearing to be serious, you're already falling heels over head, or head over heels whatever. And your so-called falling has nothing to do with him or his personality, it's just the fact that he seemingly wants to get married. Just say it's marriage you want and it's your desire to get married, not the man thats giving you unhinged feelings, stop deceiving yourself. I honestly pray it ends it in tears for you and the dumb fool. |
Bruh the spine is a very fragile body part. Little issues can cause very severe conditions. I pray he gets better. |
Hope you keep this same energy with Buhari and Yahaya Bello |
Buhari and his administration is going to be chiefly remembered by Nigerians as a gross epic fail, an incompetent eight years that more than anything destroyed the potential of what was a promising nation. |
Human indoctrination in religion, especially Christianity has failed us, it has constituted a collosal embarrassment to the hallowedness of the body of Christ. I've concluded that humans in their imperfect understanding aren't fit to interpret the revered words of the holy scripture, as such Christians and wannabes should go and find God by themselves, articles of personal opinions like this should not exist. Alternatively, we should go back to Judaism. |
Aun San is an islamophobic genocidal dictator who failed to defend human rights issues in her country. Big blow to democracy but the military is doing the right thing for it's citizens. I believe they will eventually handover power when they conduct a credible election. Nigeria can learn |
Bruh, some Nigerian girls can really be dumb. I remember when I got into school newly, Just for familiarity sake, I asked some stupid hoe, who was my coursemate and a fresher just like me for her number, she told me she couldn't give me her number because her phone number was too important to be inside an Android phone. I am using a high end Tecno phone though. Fast forward - I'm getting a bit well known in my department, studying hard and raising my CGPA,, she starts acting familiar with me. I remember vividly before lockdown last year, she begged me to send her some of my tutorial videos from the same Android phone that was too small for her number. That's been one of my many motivations in school and in life in general, I promised myself I would tell that story in my valedictory speech. |
Girl Power doesn't exist |
StacyO:Comprehension is essential. There's nothing logical about your article, you wrote a bunch of STEREOTYPICAL statements based on your limited experiential evidence and passed it on as though it was a generally accepted norm in society. That's why I told you to understand how stereotypes work before making your assertion. Logic is based on factualities not anecdotes. Your first statement that women are treated as "second class citizens in Nigeria", Q: Is that a fact? Where's the evidence "Young girls aren't granted freedom until they're ready to settle down" Q: How often does this happen? Do they put a gun to their heads? Where's the evidence that it happens to all the women in Nigeria "They were not granted privilege to be independent" Independence isn't gotten by privilege, it is gotten by hard work and self-sufficiency. If I want to go further, I could go on and on to point out dozens of inconsistencies in your piece. If you're writing facts, present data to back it up, if you're writing an experience, then don't generalize. If you're stating your personal opinion, do it coherently. |
mynd4409:No disrespect to your skill but you haven't met people yet bruh. Be humble. There's many nerds on here in NL that literally speak in C++ |
StacyO:A lot of illogical whining in this bullshit article. You need to seek real knowledge for yourself and stop repeating this overrated feminist victimization rhetoric that's being propagated in mainstream media. As a student of statistics, I suggest you understand how stereotypes work. Stop using occurrences that are limited to certain members of society to make a case for society in general. As such you can't label the opinions of people as a practice that requires any sort of eradication. Apart from the North, women aren't treated as second-class citizens in Nigeria. This whole write-up isnt based on any facts so it's considered bullshit in my books. |
Mynd44, you're still using a 3g phone bruh. How can you claim to be the best web developer in Nigeria |
Primary school teachers are more valuable to this country than our Senators. |

Top American Gospel Rapper Lecrae has revealed that he's 41% Nigerian by DNA. The Houston rapper in a tweet on January 27th had confirmed that his DNA details suggest that he's majorly of Nigerian descent. In a recent Facebook post, the Grammy Award winning rapper stated that he would be coming to Nigeria as soon as the covid-situation has been dealt with. Lecrae is one of many African-Americans who have traces of Nigerian ancestry, with many others like Lil Wayne, Meek Mill, Nas, Kirk Franklin,Tyler The Creator, Sade Audi, Giannis Anetokounpo etc believed to have roots in the West African state. To think that a bigoted, old, mentally defunct, jihadist commander-in-chief who pardoned murderers and cold-blooded terrorists that have numerously wasted the lives of many Nigerian citizens and soldiers; not just pardoned them, he released them back into society and even sent some abroad for studies. To think such a vile human cares about ending or winning the fight against terrorism is the zenith of self-deception. |
If only groups like MACBAN and ACF who confidently spout hate and division, who can confidently declare supremacy over all the lands in Nigeria, amidst herdsmen killings and perpetual violence were treated with the same alienation and vilification that IPOB faces by the public. Fulani terrorist herdsmen wouldn't be killing with impunity. To hell with your fucking service chiefs, it's just a decoy to make us believe that you have any interest in the life's of Nigerians. |
No sympathies here. He would have probably sentenced someone to death by decapitation for making a painting of a lunatic. Rot In Hell |
What a man can do a woman can attempt |
Notice how the less flamboyant and less flashy clergymen are always doing the relevant things. Those ones that don't show off their $600,000 watches and 8billion seater capacity auditoriums while at the same time preaching about tithing and seed sowing as if God is broke or as if heaven is an old building that desperately needs rehabilitation. Those down to earth ones that live life on the level of an ordinary man are the only type of Pastors that draw you to seek God. Kudos to this man. It takes unusual bravery to enter this religiously radical wasteland. I hope God hears his prayers. Meanwhile a Pastor once said, "If it can't fly me to heaven, I don't need four jets" |
This goes to show how unorganized, uninformed and retrogressive the Nigerian governments is in the way it runs it's economy. The government is supposed to provide sufficient basic amenities and infrastructure for the private sector to thrive on. Government primarily is supposed to provide good transportation, power, security, education business subsidies and other necessities while generating their income from taxes. The private sector grows and solidifies only when those things are put in place. Building luxury malls are unnecessary if the road networks in Abakiliki are terrible, and locales in Afikpo can't afford clean water. It will probably fold up in 3 years due to poor management. |
