I just know I don’t fucking trust Microsoft. |
FreeStuffsNG:You just said the biggest load of croc I’ve ever heard |
I showed my guy this news, and he said we’ll become billionaires in Naira in 6 months. Sad for everyone that earns in Naira cause the purchasing power is just too weak right now. |
Bro. How clueless can the leaders of this country be? 35k for three months, is literally the most ineffective, meaningless and the most null relief program I’ve heard of in my whole life. Why not actually proffer a sustainable plan that would better the lives of people whether in the short or long run? Like fix the goddamn refineries we have, strengthen the transportation infrastructure, resolve the power situation, subsidize agriculture, boost local productivity through industrialization etc. If they actually channelled the funds to any of these instead, it would do a lot more good than 35k a month for 3 months that run into a trillion and most likely would be misappropriated. |
Kobojunkie:https://www.tandfonline.com/doi/full/10.1080/21568235.2021.1895858 |
Kobojunkie:Research studies have shown that in more egalitarian countries like Sweden, Norway, Finland, Canada, with unionized economic systems and with gender quota legislations etc when women are given the power of choice, they ironically tend to take on more traditional roles and infact the gender gap in STEM fields broaden. I dunno how long you've lived outside Nigeria, but if you have lived in any of these countries, you'd find that women still voluntarily take on these roles. |
pocohantas:What changes outside Nigeria though? |
pocohantas:First off, I would like to know how you have the ability to interpret someone’s emotional position from an internet post made in alphabetic characters, without any use of derogatory terms, without any use of words with emotionally charged ions, without any use of emoji’s to suggest any form of emotional expression, maybe that was as usual a dumb, illogical assumption on your part. How did it LOOK like I put all my emotions into convincing you about something when I made a post of probably 70 words or less, in response to your post of probably 70 words or more? I’d like to understand this. Second, the premise of my post was also in response to a part of your initial post where you claimed married women were having extra-marital affairs and bringing in foreign children into the marriage. My point was that if men had other options for sex and procreation, if the options for procreation lied outside the confines of a woman’s body, then they wouldn’t get into these unhappy and abusive relationships with women to begin with. Hence, the invention of artificial wombs would see a massive decrease in long-term relationships with women, especially among rich men who can afford the use of the technology. If that’s zero logic, then I wonder what logic is for you sweet pea. Third, not only a d*** would think that going into a relationship would be useless if the prime purpose of that relationship is potentially achievable without getting into the relationship itself, I think many smart and well-to-do people in the modern world tend to think this way too, (CR7, Emma Watson, Oprah etc) I also think all feminists (strong and independent women who don’t need men is a feminist mantra) have the same viewpoint too. Unless perhaps you’re describing these people and groups of people as d*** then you’re very wrong. I wasn’t wailing up andante(not sure what this phrase means) I was calmly typing and laughing at your logical deficiency. I don’t think I lack comprehension, except for the dumb and illogical statements that you so often spout. |
pocohantas:I was expecting a logical rebuttal because I made a logical response to your initial comment and if you didn’t have any logical response, you could have just moved the Bleep on instead of making a really unsound, uninformed and unfounded extra remark like “now say that without crying” which in my opinion does not make any sense whatsoever and doesn’t relate in any way to my statement. It seems you have a challenge responding to logical statements without making illogical personal assumptions about the person you’re responding to. First you assumed I was crying because I made a response to your statement, and now this. 1) I don’t get high off arguing with women, atleast not dumb women. 2) I don’t have a no-marriage stand. 3) I don’t think highly of myself. Three illogical assumptions in one statement, I doubt you could afford having an E in any Further Mathematics class. |
pocohantas:In other words, “I do not have a logical rebuttal, so I’ll have to resort to some really dumb ad hominem to make myself feel better” ![]() |
pocohantas:Remove Konji and child bearing, Nigerian men wouldn’t even be looking at y’all twice. If you think Nigerian men care about women either, you’re kidding yourself. When the innovation of artificial wombs are substantiated, women would be totally worthless to men, especially to the ones that can afford it. Why do you think rich men from the Davidos to LDC are treating y’all like disposable plates? |
I was 14 years old in 2015 when Buhari was running for President on the mantra of fighting corruption, and looking at the number of people that bought that silly agenda without enquiring about his strategy or structures to fight corruption was astounding This video shows the level at which bribery and corruption has been accultured in Nigerian society, corruption is woven deep into the fabric of every Nigerian coterie, it is rooted in the soil of every Nigerian community, it is in the DNA of the average NIgerian. To save this country, we need to do a whole mental revamp in the minds of every Nigerian because the extent to which it has been normalized is in disastrous proportions. Imagine waiting for a bribe alert as though it was a normal day-to-day transaction, without fear or vigilance, I'm not saying corruption is not in every nation, I'm just saying it has unfortunately been normalized in Nigeria to the point that it looks like organized enterprise. |
Xcelinteriors:A wall of 3.7x2.8m will need how many rolls sir? And can delivery be done to Cross River for small quantities like that? |
pocohantas:It depends on what audience you’re paying attention to, there was a viral post where a women also celebrated her divorce and feminists were hailing her, calling her a brave woman and all, so it works both ways. Meanwhile, That’s Dr Dre, owner of the “Beats by Dr. Dre” franchise, his wife did him dirty so he had cause to celebrate. |
Still don’t understand how people support Tinubu, I respect his past outstanding feats as Lagos State Governor but to think he is in anyway going to better the current situation of Nigeria is utterly delusional. What Nigeria and Nigerians need at the moment is an economist and a social strategist, our major problems being poverty and insecurity but judging from his speeches and assertions, Tinubu is most concerned with being President and his “lo kan” other than actually solving Nigeria’s issues. The current tribal divide in Nigeria is escalating astronomically with each passing day, with a certain zone, ethnicity and religion dominating major political offices leaving the other side marginalized and underrepresented The fact that Tinubu picked a Northern and a Muslim running mate in the status quo, just to appeal to the overpopulated North and get bloc votes shows how selfish and insensitive the man is, he is expanding the already existing gap of tribalism and division in Nigeria. Even if he wins, Nigeria will only get worse. |
If we want to make it about skin color, your first point on poverty tho is quite funny because if we want to weigh it on a scale, you’ll find that the variable between a rich and financially strong black male is the woman in their lives I’m fact multiple observable researches suggests that the richer and more successful a black man gets, the lighter and higher up the skin tone. Look at the likes of Michael Jackson, Kanye, Tiger Woods, Ne-Yo, The Weeknd, Wiz Khalifa, Miguel, Michael Jordan, Benjamin O. Davis, Deval Patrick, David Paterson, In fact, a vast majority of black football players, majority of the NBA, majority of the NFL. Etc If you compare the defining factors between a poor black male and a rich black male, a black and dark skinned woman is top of the catalogue of the former, so avoid black and dark-skinned women with everything in you This is the most probable explanation for poverty in the African continent, black women have been plagued with a curse of poverty and intellectual deficit, thus transferring their jinx to black males who are therefore compelled to copulate with these women due to the population’s uni-dimension, thereby transferring their poverty curse to their sons and husbands. Black women are cursed Black and dark-skinned women are a curse |
No to rape |
APC is lacking funds for its convention. ![]() My heart goes out to all Nigerian students in federal universities |
tesppidd:Wike collects that much because his State generates a bulk of what is being used to feed poor northern States. Pray, tell me what tangible project El Rufai has completed in the last 4 years. |
ArewaNorth:Wike as President for 3 months would absolutely wipe the floor with what your lifeless mentor has done in 8 years. Wike's capital projects have outperformed that of every single APC Governor from Yahaya Bello who couldn't even pay civil servants salary to the bigot midget El Rufai who pays bandits to murder his own people. Have several seats. |
Nigeria needs to have a law similar to America's second amendment, law enforcement personnel feel like demi-gods in this country. Imagine invading someone's house in the thick of the night without a warrant, try it in Brooklyn if they won't blow away your skull. |
Now that he's scored the hype will be everywhere, notice how nobody is praising Pogba despite his brilliant performance, notice how they are saying that he plays better than teenagers at 37 but once he just stops scoring, the blame suddenly will be on Rashford, Rangnick, Bruno Fernandez, Fred, English FA, Sepp Blatter, Putin, Nnamdi Kanu, and the Pfizer vaccine, that's when they'll somehow remember that age has caught up with him. |
DanielAlhassan:Download them on pdf drive, I'm sure they would be free there. |
theForth:Thanks my man, I'm flattered TBH Actually I'm a last child in a very academic family, I was raised soft by my parents but i had to learn to be tough because I saw how my siblings treated me whenever my parents weren't around. So I've read a lot of self-help books. |
OP I feel your pain as I was once like you. The sad thing is that many males of this generation have been socialized by this very feministic and gynocentric society to think that being nice, soft, empathetic and considerate is the appropriate way to live. But that's not true bro, the world is a jungle, a battlefield and not a playground. The first thing you need to do as a man to survive in this jungle is to be confident in yourself and your abilities, eliminate fear and timidity in every form, care less about people's opinions and more on your beliefs. Next thing is to focus very largely on yourself. People will say you're being egotistic and self-conceited but it doesn't matter, if you look at the world, people admire more egotistic folks than selfless people. People love CR7's personality more than Messi's for a reason. So this is a vital step bro, focus on yourself, capitalize on people to achieve your personal goals, care less about people and more about yourself. Be more of a polite human in your relationships than a nice person, society has blurred the lines between these two. Final thing is to work extra hard to make money for yourself, do all the work it takes to get to your goals. Workout and improve your physical appearance too. Forget about women they are not important. I suggest you read books like 48 laws of Power, Art of Seduction, Mastery and most importantly 12 Rules For Life by Jordan Peterson. I tell people I'm 20 years old and they don't believe me, 12 Rules For Life is like a life hack, trust me bro. You can also check out some of the Machiavellian tactics on Nairaland here. |
Aduke23:Men don't find it intimidating, they just have a preference. Also women tend to emphasize their specifications on wanting to date taller guys. If you're taller than the average guy, they probably reason you'd go for taller guys so they don't easily approach you. Btw I'm 6"7, how tall are you? |
pocohantas:Also black men have not started a pseudo movement or a stupid ideology that says they are equal to white men, they don't sit down on Twitter everyday blaming and bashing white men for nothing, they don't go around making ridiculous hashtags like #killwhitemen, they dont blame the white man for all their problems. Rather they are learning in silently and progressing, filling up STEM areas improving themselves. They are aware of the reality and are readily improving. Look up the statistics on construction, engineering and military in America and see how black men are gradually improving. From Ben Carson to Innoson motors, we are getting there. |
SoapQueen:Again you couldn't provide any valid answer to my question. Just a lot of rambling about nothing, you're drifting away from the point really. We both know Nairaland is a faceless forum, so all your proclaimed credenceless achievements doesn't prove anything, and I apologize for bragging about my income earlier as it proves nothing, just words. Now back to the topic If you could just answer any of the questions I posed initially, it would be a great proof of intellectual prowess from your end as that's the only thing that can be proven here online. Please I refuse to engage in lame derogation. That's a valid sign of maturity. |
SoapQueen:Again your statement displays little intellectual substance. You typed a lot of insults but couldn't make a simple solid argument against my comment. Your comment that I responded to was something in the line of "Men should be the omes to fight the wars because they started the wars" and my simple question to you is this, Are the ordinary male individual citizens who are to be forcefully conscripted into the army over their female counterparts in any way involved in starting this war?? Are they the ones that initiated the war?? Why are the men who have nothing to do with starting this war forced to stay and defend their country while the females are allowed to flee? Where is the gender equality in this?? If you can't answer these questions logically, I don't care about your age, you don't deserve a brain. PS: I might be younger but I make more money than you ever will, and obviously way smarter. |
SoapQueen:Your statement is plain stupid and lacks any ounce of logical leaning. What men caused "the issues?" Men who went about leaving their normal lives, who have no hand in a political struggle are being forced to risk their lives to defend their country and here you are saying they caused the issues. |
