BACKGROUND
I started this journey in 2020 and learnt everything on my own with help from my amazing friends,some I met here on nairaland, the admission I got was so expensive and the Vo didn't think it was a reasonable expense and honestly I agree I couldn't comfortably afford that tuition...so I just gave up because I was afraid of starting all over trying to get admission again and stuff but in Jan this year I got encouraged again and decided to apply to Memorial it was a late application and I was lucky.... I got entrance scholarship too and it was cheaper/affordable. My fear was that my POF was now half of what I submitted earlier and also I wasn't employed just doing little business but God favored me regardless.

This time I included landed properties in my name for personal assets and paid my half tuition cos the other half was covered by the entrance scholarship and added my brother a police officer as a co sponsor to cover finances and wrote a convincing letter of explanation.

3. Birth Certificate
4.Passport Bio data page
5. family picture (parents,wedding pix and convocation pix)
6. Letter of Explanation
7. NYSC discharge certificate
8. Degree certificate
9. Transcripts
10. IELTS Certificate
11.Certificate of my business registration
12. Marriage Certificate
13. Affidavit of change of Name
14. Newspaper change of name
15. My bank statements 3-mine and 2 sponsors(hubby and brother)
16. letter of Sponsorship 2
17. Employment letter 2 for sponsors
18. International passport bio data page 2 for sponsors, work ID cards, Commission Letters and Promotion letters
19. Landed property documents in my name
20 reference letters from former jobs and internships

Its the Lords doing and it is marvelous. I wish you all a rain of PPR and please don't ever give up on ur application..It gets harder sometimes before it gets easy, last year I waited almost 5mnths and got a rejection now I got an approval in 1mnth 9days.

Compress the documents one after the other to reduce the sizes first especially the large ones before merging then compress again after merging but make sure they are very clear

Goodevening everyone pls is there anyone studying political science at MUN ? I just realized my admission for masters is course based instead of the research base I applied for...I want to know the implication of a course based program pls if anyone has an idea

I recently got admission to Mun for masters and will like to pay my tuition so I can use the receipt to apply for visa. Please kindly assist me with any information on how I can pay even without registering courses. Ive sent messages to the school and yet to get any response. Pls assist

Got a refusal yesterday based on personal assets and financial status. Such a sad and discouraging feeling after waiting for so long since April. Like why not make a decision on time so someone can reapply again before September.

Eligibility has not started

April 23rd applicant submitted everything except Ielts b4 may 15th. Nothing yet praying and hoping i get a positive response this week

I have not used them before but delay on getting GCMS notes is not new on this thread. We have seen where the third party sent message to the applicant for 60days extension.
If you don't mind, request another notes through another third party or if you have a family member in Canada that help you out.

Hello everyone, please has anyone used applygcms.com to request for their gcms notes? This is 50days now and they have refused to send my notes or give a good explanation only saying Ircc hasn't sent it to them. Im beginning to doubt if they are genuine or not. Has anyone experienced such delay in getting their notes? Im so worried.

In addition: you can also reach out to your DLI with a screenshot of the notes and explain to them to check for IRCC email for confirmation. If this has been done, you may be told or not.

Please at what point do they ask for confirmation from the school/DLI? Is it early on in the eligibility or when they are rounding up I just want to know cos thats the level where my application is right now. Pls let me know if u can tell based on ur experience.

Medical updated to pass - 28th Jan
Note: I applied with my family
Ordered Gcms on 8th April
Gcms arrived on 7th May, I saw the concerns raised and I addressed them immediately.
Got a response that our file is in China.
Send another email and I got a mail that file is now in Nairobi.
Yesterday, I wrote another mail to Nairobi
To the Glory of God PPR dropped for all of us this morning.
My wife is the principal applicant
I apply for OWP
Our child a visitor visa.
This is just the Grace of God
2 years Diploma program at NBCC.

This journey started officially in 2017, I applied 3 times before it was finally approved and stamped.

1st and 2nd Application refusal on the grounds:
● Family Ties
● Current Employment situation
● Purpose of vist

3rd Application:

Applied September 9th, 2020
Medical request: Febuary 24th, 2021 ( I had an upfront medical at hand, submitted it asap)
Medical passed: March 2nd, 2021
BVL: March 3rd,2021
PPR: March 3rd, 2021
Submitted passport to Abuja VFS: through DHL March 5th, 2021
Abuja VFS received It: March 8th, 2021
Counterfoil: March 11th, 2021 ( 2 year multiple entry as compensation for the previous refusal �)
LOI: March 12th, 2021
Then I had to hunt DHLto pick my decision envelope form Abuja VFS.
Passport received back: March 17th, 2021

Shout out to Frank and everyone that has kept this page with vital information. Shout out to MUN for let me defer my admission without getting tired of my request each time. Last shout out goes to Almighty God for finally making this dream a reality.
