Anytime you remember that you came under fire in this thread let this memorable quote inspire you:
"Great men are forged in fire. It is the privilege of lesser men to light the flame. " - The War Doctor
That being said, it is unwise to stir up sentiments over something that happened in the past. I thought we have all moved on. I think we should move on.
A lot of active participants have taken a backseat and allowed fresh blood to champion the course of this thread. Please let's not influence them with a self-serving bias.
Thanks. |

ekpotek: Thank you my brother. This Canada visa application is weird. I noticed there are 4 forms to be filled. One is the statutory declaration of common union law. A common law union is an informal union. In other words an informal marriage. Download and use the guide to filling the forms from the IRCC website. |

Meggito: Thanks @jayfierce She definitely wants to go to school , but she doesn't know if submitting another application for study permit will affect the already submitted TRV application........ And also, would she have to submit a new application with biometrics? Both are TRV's and I've not seen anywhere online where you can apply for two TRV's simultaneously as it applies to her case. She could try to defer her admission and wait the outcome of the visitors Visa application. She can later apply for study permit. |

My sister and her family applied for TRV, then two weeks after, she received a letter of admission to a School in Calgary, but she doesn't know the right steps to take. Please advise. Thanks Which is of priority to her? Study or visit? |

Hello SamReinvented. I used survey documents only because I lacked the space to include other parts of the Deed of Conveyance, and my C of O was still being processed. I felt the survey document would suffice to show the land and structure on it.
What are the documents that constitute your right of occupancy? |

krissein: i guys,
Myself, my wife and son were recently denied Canadian visa, only box ticked was insufficient funds. The account had a little above 4million naira.
I stated 6,500CAD as funds available for our stay in Canada for 18days... Hotel reservation was included in application
Any advice please?
Thanks "Funds available for stay" is a grossly misunderstood question. 4milion naira translates to about 13,000 - 14,000CAD. By saying you have 6,500cad available for your stay you've indirectly said that the remaining 6,500 - 7,500cad is not available. Flights could cost almost 3/4 or more of 6,500cad for the three of you. Then add hotel bills, transportation, feeding, shopping, and contingencies. So saying you have insufficient funds is probably right. |

Since your real intention is to go there and work, why not check if your profession is captured in the express entry program? Also, if you decide to go purely for visiting, you would need to show strong ties. Job, family, Asset, responsibility......etc, are examples of strong ties. |

AbbeyChristy: Please urgent response needed. I've travelled to US 3 times on tourist visa, had a child there. The 4th time I was denied entry because I had excess luggage of things to sell and visa cancelled. Now I applied for Canada visa and was refused based on *travel history *. . .what should I do? Did you state that you were refused entry into the USA? Luggage is scanned upon entry into the USA and the contents are made known to the officer at POE. Same applies to Canada. They often ask you questions based on that information |

deejay102: Tell me what has changed in my information? If you read well, you will know why I said spouse..Will it make sense to ask based on conjugal partner and come next month asking about spouse? Since you don't understand simple logic, I posted as if it was next month to avoid issues like what you just brought up. Please if you or SamReinvented have nothing meaningful to contribute, then pass.. Tseew! Yes. It would make sense to ask about your current status now and also ask later when your status changes. Telling us you are married when you are not is quite misleading. On a lighter note, men don't hiss. Happy Easter. |

Travelhx: Let's be honest: That line in the application form is very confusing. The one asking people if they have been denied by any country before.
The way it is structured, if you do not calm down and read it properly, you would think they are only asking about Canada.
They need to make that question clearer. Otherwise, many people will continue to fall victim by answering "No" Canada: Have you ever been refused a visa or permit, denied entry or ordered to leave Canada or any other country? UK: Have you been refused a visa for any country including the UK in the last 10 years? Maybe rearranging that sentence would help as you suggest but can you truly say that's the reason many answer NO instead of YES? |
