Hey mums,please has anyone used baby hair products from Wura's hair secret on Instagram? Her products are quite pricey I want to be sure it is very effective. My baby girl is 6weeks old and her hair isn't the way I planned in my head for it to be...lol. Please if anyone knows any other product that will prevent hair shedding and also help her grow I will appreciate it. Thanks.

When I call my girl she answers ma,my son has picked that up. When he hears me call him he screams ma. She calls me mummy sometimes but my son has stuck with calling me Nene...whatever that means and he will be 2 in April and calls other stuffs/people around him correctly.

Please make sure baby is positioned properly. Let baby's mouth be over the nipple and on the dark area(areola) surrounding the nipple. This way baby gets to suck better and prevent you from having sore nipples.

My baby clothing and other baby items have been sent to Nigeria but I still have few items like baby bed, feeding bottle, baby carrier, breast pump and hospital things to buy. I'll have to go and buy those myself before I become biggy biggy....heavy heavy.

Since then, no pregnancy and i stopped taking date of my periods.
Whenever i feel i am pregnant, it comes back negative;
But i remember I saw it last Aug but no actual date.
Now i have been confirmed pregnant(it was like a dream).
I have gone to register in st kizito but a doctor there says i need a place where I can be properly monitored.
She suggested island maternity or R jolad...
Mamas, I depend on God only but need to also do my part so i need hospital suggestions around d island to surulere.

20th March.... I am having a Princess.

Team March,how are we o?? I just remembered when I told Hubby I was pregnant(about the time my son turned 1yr3months) my husband was happy and sad at the same time. My first pregnancy eh,I went through a lot. I was always on admission,some days he shuttles between the hospital and his office. Fast forward to this pregnancy,I was 20weeks yesterday and I don't even feel like I am pregnant(except the baby kicks/movements). I have not missed going to work for one day. I have been so strong to everyone's amazement.

If na like this belle dey be,I go born 7 be that o...lol. May we carry our pregancies to term and at the end of the journey,we will come out alive with our babies....amen.

It has been a tough week for me,my 1yr 4months son is sick and I am presently on admission with him. I am 12weeks gone and the pain around my waist is outta this world. I have not slept in days,I have to hold him so that he doesn't pull the canula out. He doesn't want anyone touching him except me,even his Dad. So my mum in law told me his sickness could also be as a result of my pregnancy. Please who has heard about this before?

Hello everyone my EDD is December 12.this would be my first baby and it is a girl.I and my husband are beyond happy, we are just trying to curtail ourselves so we don't come across as mad people. My mother is overjoyed,this would be her first grand child so it is really excitement everywhere.

My only worry is that I want to go for elective Cs. I don't really have the strength or patience for the push also I don't want to hear anything happened to my baby during the process.

Pls I would like to find out the time it took to recover(the real deal) also for those who went for elective CS did you feel guilty after everything and all

I had ELCS,I was really scared of vagina delivery,I used the opportunity too to repair an umbilical hernia(I used to have a very big navel). In fact we didn't tell our Parents,my mum had an idea but didn't when I was going in exactly because I didn't want anyone to discourage me.

I was awake throughout the surgery but just couldn't move my legs and didn't feel any pain. As soon as I was cut open,the doctor was trying to bring my son out and suddenly started telling his fellow surgeon that there was cord very tightly round the baby's neck two times. I got really scared,they hurriedly carried the baby to go resuscitate him,I didn't hear my baby cry at all. I started calling all the doctors name o,telling them to make sure nothing happens to my baby. I guess this explains why I was always on and off the hospital from my 31weeks,I was having crazy contractions. Maybe the cord was trying to strangulate the baby,I don't know o. Sometimes I imagine what if I had waited to have vagina delivery and he didn't make it or came out too weak.

Well,my bobo is 1yr 4months,the CS site is completely healed. I am back for 2nd missionary journey. The choice is yours Sis.

I didn't/don't feel guilty about having requested for the CS on my own. I did what was best for me and my baby.

Hello mamas, in the words of @eksbabe make una no look my character o. I'm sorry for abandoning you guys . So from when my baby was 11 months, she started making efforts to stand and would take one or two wobbly steps. This continued until past 12 months. However, since then this girl has refused to stand and even take any steps anymore. Once you put her to stand, she either curls her legs or just looks for the nearest thing to hold and when you try to force her, she just starts crying. She goes round the house standing and walking while holding things. If I had not seen her stand and take a few steps before, I would have thought it was my imagination. Did anyone experience this with their LO? Also, she still does that toe walking thing I complained about earlier although its better now as she firmly puts her feet on the ground 70% of the time but is there a way I can hasten it so she puts both feet on the ground all the time? Most importantly, how can I aid her walking because no be get myself again and I don't have strength to be carrying her always.

PS; She is 13months and 9days old.

This children can give someone high blood pressure eh. My son was exactly like this,he holds stuffs and walks round the house. He never stood on his own for more than 15secs at a go. One woman even told me to take him to see an orthopaedic doctor(I rejected it immediately). I came home from work last month,a day after he clocked 15months my son walked up to the door to greet me,I fainted and woke up o. She will walk when she is ready that I am sure of. I had sleepless nights o,all the people he gave 5months they were standing very well and taking few steps and he will just sit on the floor if there is nothing to hold on to.

I bought him a football the week he started walking,I guess that also motivated him. He enjoys seeing the ball been kicked around,he gets so happy and tries to move too.

Its been 3weeks since he started walking,he now runs and goes about disarranging everywhere.

Hey mamas,I recently went for a seminar by Wyeth company the producers of SMA gold(formula). We were told that the new SMA in the market has been reformulated and another nutrient had been added. Most formulas are 1level scoop of milk to 30mls of water, they said after the reformulation 1level scoop of milk is now to 60mls of water. So please those that use SMA should kindly confirm this. If the milk isn't mixed properly with the right quantity of water it could make the baby constipated.

2months and 3days is still quite young for pap in my opinion. Why not give baby formula in place of the pap at least until baby is 4months old then you start baby with millet/guinea corn. But ideally semi solids/solids should start by 6months.

I was told it's to speed up baby's lungs maturation in case of emergency.my baby is 30weeks old

Awww!! So sorry about the accident Sis. I had dexamthosone injections when my I was 32weeks gone and experiencing serious contractions off and on. DS didn't come early,I eventual had ELCS at 38weeks as I was tired of being in pain everyday. You and LO will be fine,I will definitely remember you in my prayers.

I am just signing in o,team March 2019 by God's special grace.

I had DS April 21st 2017,he is 1yr2months+ via ELCS. Dear Hubby and I played very rough play on our birth days in June,I wasn't even thinking. I was really sick on Friday and the doctor asked my last menstrual period(LMP) that was when I even realized my period was late. That is how I did a PT on Saturday and it turned out positive.

Choi!!! I am still trying to get a new nanny for my son and all that. I stopped breastfeeding him 3weeks ago,I just wanted to have myself and my body back and kpakam!! another baby on the way.

When I was pregnant for DS I was in and out of hospital as my first scan showed I had fibroids and the fibroid started to degenerate around the second trimester,I was always in pain. So now I am thinking,if this has to happen again how will DH cope with DS when I am on admission in the hospital.

I know God is going to perfect all that concerns me and this pregnancy. Let me go and mark present in pregnancy thread.

In my inexperience, I see mothers burping even when baby is sleeping. They sleep off most of the time na, and one has to burp before lying them down
I think you arent doing anything wrong

This burping thing no easy o, when my DS was 2weeks old he almost fell off my shoulder as I was trying to make him burp and he slept off,i also slept off. What I started doing afterwards is I try to move around on my feet so he burps and so I don't fall asleep. As he got older it was more difficult for him to burp while he was asleep, I just hold him up for say 20mins and put him down and elevate his head.
