The last government that devalued the naira twice in 6 months. Dollars was about 240 when this government took over and was climbing. The salvage of the nation's economy may not be going as fast as we would want it to go but if we had retained the last government, and based on the economic indices then, the naira would be far devalued than this.

The gains against Boko haram is there for all to see. Boko haram was announced to have been technically defeated. You omitted that "technically" part. The meaning was that Boko Haram has lost the capacity to brazenly attack and seize control and maintain defensive positions of large area of the country as it was during the era of GEJ where soldiers have to run to Cameroon, Chad and Niger Republic when chased by Boko Haram. They now only hide, regroup and launch suicide bombings and attacks against soft targets in markets and mosques. The one billion dollars was approved to be used for the procurement of armaments for the military that is engaging in operations all over the country, Boko Haram inclusive.
Try as you may, you can't pin a single corruption issue on PMB.

Stop turning history on it's head, Buhari was never part of the 1983 coup. He was in Jos when the coup plotters toppled Shagari who was at Aguda house in Abuja then. Buhari was chosen to lead the government because of his uprightness and integrity. The reason why Shagari's government was toppled was the mind blowing corruption that was destroying our economy then. The same looting that made Nigerians booted your PDP out of power. The PDP should go and pay their workers 3 1/2 years workers salary before they talk about winning election in Nigeria. It just baffles me to think that a party that cannot pay their workers salary wants to bring economic prosperity to Nigeria.

According to the PDP policy of rotational presidency, GEJ wasn't supposed to contest the 2011 election but was allowed to when he signed an agreement with the Northerners that he WILL NOT CONTEST FOR PRESIDENT IN 2015. He reneged on that agreement because of his DISHONEST nature. He shot himself in the foot for being an abysmal failure in office and reneging on a gentleman agreement he entered into. The masses rejected him, the political elites rejected him not only Kwankwaso. He was left with thieves and charlatans who beat the drums and deceived him. He was only too myopic and dumb to know the difference.
