PMB did not and hasn't betrayed the SW. You don't confuse selfish Political interest with parochial tribal and ethnic "betrayal" as you call it. Awo's case was a conspiracy between The Eastern NCNC and Northern NPC for the control of the opposition controlled SW. Abiola's case was due to the selfish reasons of IBB and Abacha. Abacha even jailed his fellow Northerners. Yaradua even died in prison. Many Nigerians of other ethnic groups were assassinated while some survived the assassination attempts. For his own personal drive for power. Tinubu hasn't told us that PMB betrayed him in any way.

I will start on a brutal and savage note. What the SW (despite giving GEJ 70% of our votes in 2011) benefited from the GEJ government are taunts and Insults which mostly come from those Awon oloripele people (flat head cannibals) they rained insults on the SW people when they demanded more representation in GEJ's government. Those flat head cannibals single handedly destroyed the first southern alliance we had that proved that we can win election against the North if there is strong southern unity. They behaved as if they single-handedly voted GEJ into power. In terms of infrastructural development, SW recorded nothing to benefit from GEJ's administration. GEJ did not help matters by his woeful failures and abysmal performance. It was an easy decision for the SW to withdraw their alliance with him.
One thing people don't know about the SW voting pattern in 2019 is that it will be a "bloc" vote against any candidate those 5% flat head cannibals decide or choose to support and vote for.
Personally, for NOW I am still for PMB. Let's see how events turn out later.
