While joining millions of Nigerian soccer lovers in congratulating the Super Eagles, I wish to reiterate that this performance against France should not go into our head too much that we forget the more important task of walloping the Kenyans to boost our chance of qualifying for the South Africa 2010. Congrats! |
While joining other Nigerians in congratulating SE we are still waiting for their performance against Kenya |
. . .I can understand from allot of the comments in this thread why Nigeria is in such a mess, nobody really wants to do anything about these animals, many people using this forum are probably involved or have been involved in 419 and the really sicko mental cases believe that it is cool ![]() To those of you who want these filthy animals dealt with, I Salute YOU ![]() For those of you that support these low life scum, you deserve to hang with them ![]() @Thor In as much as I am never a 419er and I will never venture into that, I cannot be hang with them. However, I still believe that death penalty may not be the solution. If every sin should be met with capital punishment, how many will remain to even move the nation forward? Are all our hands clean in every other areas of our lives even when we are not into 419 scam? (including all of you who want the filthy animals dealt with) |
I am not in support of death penalty for 419ners but rather long jail terms will suffice. To me cutting of the head is not the best solution for headache ![]() |
The situation in the Nigerian employment market is bad like the poster rightly pointed out. Agreed. I think the best employment is self employment. People should now think of what they can do on their own more than what others can do for them. Also, as a seller on the employment market (employers are the buyers), one need to develop himself to an extent that you will become a hot cake for the buyers. Wishing all our fresh graduates all the best! |
asha 80: You might not be that lucky! You better drop that evil thought and think of legitimate biz that will bring you cool money. I know you are joking ![]() |
junhio: Is this related to this topic? |
It is part of the signs of the end time. We need prayers for our country (Kidnap here, Assassin there and Communal clash elsewhere), all are indications of the imminent coming of the Son of Man. He who hath ears let him hear. |
It will not happen to you if there is true love in the house and you are playing your role well in the family. It is not the best thing however to allow a third party in the family (house boy or house girl) because even if this does not happen to the madam or the daddy of the house or even the children, there could be bad influence on the children. With Christ in the home, happy happy home. |
@post I don't think it is proper for you to build your own house outside the knowledge of your husband. If there is unity in a family, this issue should not arise because it undermine the authority of the husband as the head (especially when this is done behind his knowledge) and it has the tendency of destroying the matrimony. My advise is (if you want to invest for the future of your children) open children endowment fund accounts in their names and any property investment you want to make do it jointly (with submissiveness) with your husband in the name of your family. Wishing you all the very best. |
They said East or West, Home is best. Remember these Ghanaians have sent our compatriots parking in the past. A word is enough for the wise. Nigerians there should know how to play their games. |
I started enjoying football since around 1980 when Nigeria hosted and won the Cup of Nations for the first time. I was barely 13 years old then. Though I could recollect that about 1978, we watched world cup (not with much interest but just for the fun of watching it). At the time, we used to go and watch television in some privileged households because it is not too common then in the place where I grew up. |
@ichommy And that was which year? |
I wouldn't give up my car for a bicycle simply because there is queue for fuel in Nigeria. If I need bicycle ride for exercise, that will only be during recreation periods and in a safe environment. |
Nigeria may win marginally or it can be a barren draw. |
No picture? To assess the extent of the damage. Anyway, I guess the woman must be a carnibal A good lesson for those who flirt about with different women. ![]() |
Inquisitive? |
Nice browsing the net since morning? |
@post My answer to your question is capital NO. I had 3 daughters already and I didn't circumcise them. It is inhuman and old-fashioned! |
@post I think Obama is afraid of being kidnapped. He will come after Yar'Adua have wiped out militants cum all residents of Niger delta region ![]() |
RICHIE BOI:An adage says "all days is for the thief, but one day is for the owner". I rest my case, a word is enough for the wise. |
blacksta:@poster and other lovers of our great country Let us know that two wrongs will never make a right and any thing build on falsehood cannot stand. Under whatever disguise, I distance myself from rigging either a good or a bad president into office. My own proposition is that we should prevent them from rigging bad leaders to govern us. NIGERIA WILL GET THERE! |
From my own candid opinion, no other past or present Nigerian leader has matched the evil record of that short devil in dark glasses. May we never encounter such again in the history of this country (even in the generation of our unborn grand and great grand children)! You need to imagine what this country would have become if not for the saving hands of "death" (or is it apples as we were made to believe). |
@post I am on skype and I have requested for your connection on skype |
mosun_ade: I think there is need for politeness and courtesy in a public forum like this. Not only this, everyone should be entitled to his or her own opinion. In as much as I respect your own opinion, I think you went to far by calling others idiots and fools simply because they have a different opinion. |
It is absolutely uncalled for. How can a government which has not been able to tackle its own internal problems step out to help others. It is hypocrisy of the highest order. Yar'Adua should concentrate his magnanimity in solving fuel crisis, security problem and electoral problems, etc in this country first if he has anything to offer otherwise posterity will not hold him blameless (whether he is prepared to govern or not, he need to wake up). |
@Jericho Thanks. Will get back to you |
]the thing be say everybody will shout their own university even though we all know what we went thru in our school. According to a site (www.4icu.org/topAfrica) for 2009 ranking the Nigerian university with the highest ranking is University of Ilorin (33rd position) here is another site that shows university of benin as the highest ( http://www.webometrics.info/top100_continent.asp?cont=africa ) and its are standing at 68th position. I studied at University of Ilorin but I cant advice my enemy to go there even though its standing as one of the best in nigeria. I now study at Tshwane Unversity of Technology in SOuth Africa and the difference is toooooooooooooooo much. Until Naija university changes by God's grace my kids wont study there cos when you study outside of Nigeria you see the difference. Our governtment is killing our education and they send their own kids outside the country. some of our leaders even studied abroad and they know the differnece but they would never go home and implement what they see. our lecturers go out and study under good condition but come home to be sadist and are always happy to fail student. In in my department here in south africa if students fail a lecturer can be fired for it but in Unilorin lecturers are excited to fail students. SO SAD UNILORIN IS THE GREATEST IN NIGERIA. GREAT, GREAT, GREATEST UNILORIN! |
@Jericho Kindly advise on what my wife can do on this issue. She did he ND programme in Estate Management at Osun State College of Technology over ten years ago. Upon completion of the course she was given a Statement of Result (To Whom it May Concern) stating her grade and duly signed and stamped by the School Authority. The issue however is that when she needed to obtain her transcript from the institution, they now came up with another story that she had reference in 2 courses thereby they couldn't release the transcript. Please advise on the necessary step that could be taken as she was not aware of such during her studentship and even at the point of releasing of her statement of result (even in which she was graded by the school authority) Thanks. |
I think the judgement is a blessing to Nigeria in many ways. It save us from having to organize another election that PDP will win anyway. The oppositions are in disarray. They are already in PDP to benefit from govt jobs. Wasting billions of money to confirm fraud as done in Bayelsa, Adamawa is not a better option. I blame Buhari and Atiku for their lost. The two men had the goodwill of Nigerians to wrest power from PDP. All the were expected to do is for one to step down for the other so that progressives would align with one candidate. But they stuck to the selfish personal ambition. I think Yar'adua has to complete his tenure. Let the opposition unite, and then restrategise for next election,
I completely agree with this view though one is not happy that our judiciary is being used to rubber stamp illegality as it turned out to be with this judgement. |
