Crime60yr-old Alhaji Olusegun Adesina Arraigned For Raping Boy, 20 by jbaur24(op): 6:44am On May 19, 2012
A 60-year-old businessman, Alhaji Olusegun Adesina, was on Friday in Abeokuta arraigned before an Isabo Magistrate’s Court for allegedly raping a 20-year-old secondary school leaver (name withheld).

Adesina was arraigned before Magistrate O.A. Ayobolu on a count of having unlawful sexual intercourse with the boy on Tuesday at his private residence in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital.

The suspect allegedly lured the boy into his residence with a promise to help him secure a job pending his admission into a tertiary institution.

The police prosecutor, Paul Etusi, argued that the accused harmed the 20-year-old when he forcefully had sexual intercourse with him through the anus.

Etusi, an assistant superintendent of police, stated that the offence was punishable under Section 214 of the Criminal Code Vol. 1, Laws of Ogun State of Nigeria, 2006.

Counsel to the accused, B.H. Yusuf, however, appealed to the court to grant Adesina bail.

The prosecutor opposed the bail application and urged the magistrate to remand the accused in prison.

The magistrate later granted Adesina bail in the sum of N500,000 with two sureties.

PoliticsRe: Where Would U Rather Reside?? by jbaur24:
Economy drives where people are likely to reside. Places as Lagos, Onitsha, PH and Kano will not cease to witness massive influx of people due to the economic importance of these cities.

Again some cities can also enjoy some visitors from time to time due to serenity, quietness and hospitality; such places are: Abuja, Calabar, Enugu, Awka, Jos (before now), and Owerre.

Above all, the economy of any city at any given time is the major determinant of destination of where people go to live and work. So once again the following cities takes the cake: Lagos, Onitsha, PH and Kano.

Foools, who wan use your owerre airport? Why are you always beefing about this airport of a thing, why is it causing you sleepless night and what is your fears about this? You have completely shown the highest level of dark-hearted envious frustrated person.

This will only get worse for you, because Anambra will even build space center then you would have drowned yourself. Why do you bother so much about Anambra Int'l airport project.

If you are looking for people that will use your abandoned and decaying airport is not Anambrans. Anambrans does not want to use your airport. Is it by force? We are presently developing our world class international Cargo/Passenger airport in conjunction with the Orient Pet. Refinery. So go deal with it boy.

i dont know what u are talking about because i obviously didnt join anyone in building any airport. This is part of ur rantings i am talking about. whatever u put to me is simply in vain because u obviously dont know what u are talking about.
You are sounding baselessly.

Here is the ranking by regions in terms of economic importance:

SE- Anambra

SS- Rivers

SW: Lagos

North: Kaduna/Kano

So its imperative that all these above mentioned state to have an International airport, Sea/River Ports as regional economic hubs.

Demdem: in otherwords, Anambra doesnt have any other serious challenges as a state right now except airport challenge right? Anambra now has worldwide acclaimed educational facilities + Universities; citizens statewide has access to potable water; no poverty on the land; the roads in Anambra can be declared the best in the country for now; infact in terms of health facilities, Anambra is the bomd etc.

Then who are you? An authority who decides which state that has the economic needs to build an airport? Yes, Anambra has got all that you mentioned and next most important priority is the Int'l Cargo/Passenger Airport which is coming up presently in Anambra North very close to the oil/gas Refinery plant. Now go jump into Onitsha River Niger for all we care. cool cool

Boy you need to catch some sleep.

As I said earlier I put it to you that your state has more problem including lean resources and erosion problems than to build an airport.

@ Demdem

Tell me Mr man. When imo built its airport was it the priority at the time? Why didn't you push for them to use PH airport since there is little or nothing happening in Owerre and imo state in general in terms of economy and otherwise.

Now to Asaba how could Delta build an airport with Anambra in mind, without first considering its own people first? Its a political suicide and a wasteful white elephant project that will wind up in no time.lol. And tell me why Anambra will not build its own airport that will be nearer to its people for economic convenience?

You make me laugh all the way because your postulations are borne out of envy and biased dark mind that does not have any meaningful input as to the economic development of SE and Anambra in particular. So vanish

Can you get lost from this thread, you vagabond. Does your own state don't have its fair share, if not more ecological problems? How can you say that the most important SE state as Anambra does not need an International Cargo Airport? Why would other states build an airport wastefully with Anambra in mind? Why can't Anambra build its own and create employment and resources for its own citizens?

Anambra, particularly Onitsha and Nnewi has the highest population influx on daily basis in the whole of SE/SS, why won't such a state with high volume of influx of cash have an airport for itself?

If it were in a civilized climes, such airport as the one in asaba should not have been approved in the first place because it does not serve any economic needs for its communities.

Even the one in owerre is heavily under utilized and its decaying as I write this piece due to low or zero patronage. These are some of the airports that should be scrapped and built in places as Anambra that has the economic need. Well like some already said Anambra Int'l Cargo/Passenger airport will come up soon

Ejiné: And Chino, as for your mooronic statement about UNN AND NAU being the best, in the East, tell that to your fellow sycophants and not me, biko.
It is an insult to UNN for you to put it in the sam sentence with the cultism-riddled NAU. PLeeeeeeease never, never, EVER do that again. Monkey get levels, you hear?
The best two in the East are UNN and FUTO. The end!
Go to FUTO and tell me if you'll see any cultists shooting sporadically in the air after their examinations as is done in NAU.
Go through FUTO's history and tell me if you'll ever see any story about cultists invading a Girls Hostel and raping the girls with Coca-Cola bottles as has been done in NAU (This happened in NAU in July 2003).
Go through FUTO's history and tell me if there has ever been a time when cult students staged a violent protest/pogrom about the death of their cult member (this one was a trending topic in 2002. In fact, NAU had to observe a week's strike just because of the incident).

Were you not the same idiiot who during your fight with Bandit, also tried to talk down the same UNN by saying it only lived on past glory, and that the school itself is more like a glorified secondary school now?

You seee? Your lies are not making sense, and are not consistent anymore. Please go hide your face, jare.
Freaking goat, why would you think that anybody that puts you on check and cuts you to size is chino. Or have you forgottn what mercuryx and chino did to you. lol. The rate which you mention chino is a sign that this chino guy is your nightmare any day and has give you serious wounds. go figure.

It didn't take you time to run into the ditch with your dead monster head Mercuryx used common english you could not comprehend and am sure you will never do until you leave this stage.

You can fool yourself all you want, but we in the east knows that we have only two universities in the east and that is NAU and UNN then followed by UNICAL, UNIPORT and UNIUYO. Don't even mention such glorified colleges as FUTO and the rest of them alongside the afore-mentioned or else amadioha will visit you, because it is sacrilegious. If that will give you blood pressure and quench you for once so be it. So in all wherever I come from does not matter the mituost important thing is to check your boyish and maddening attitude here
PoliticsRe: Anambra Vs Abia. Which Is More Organized? by jbaur24: 9:37pm On Mar 19, 2012
Ejiné: Aba is and has always been the greatest and largest city in Igboland. It is also the most historically significant of all the commercial cities. It has the largest metropolitan area which even spills over to Okigwe LGA of Imo state. The only problem is that the city (as well as the state as a whole) is currently burdened with a dunce as a governor. Simple.
It's only on Nairaland that I've EVER heard of this Onitsha-Awka-Nnewi fairytale and about how Anambra "feeds and sets the pace economically for Alaigbo". I'm like, "Hellooooo!?", this is a state that doesn't even have an airport; doesn't even have a reputable state university (ANSU is a freaking midget when compared to ABSU); doesn't even have a reputable federal university (UniZik is an artisan kiosk when pitted against Imo's FUTO or Enugu's UNN); this is a state that ranks to nothing when it comes to Polytechnics (Imo's Poly Nekede scatters it); as at the time powerful city masterplans were being designed for Owerri, Aba and Umuahia, Chino's daddy couldn't even afford a cheap hotel room to phuck his mum and sire him, these guys had to sit on their butts and wait for the UN to design a city plan for them (Chineke mekwaara mmadu ebere o!); and yet I wonder exactly what all the Onitsha boasts are about.

SMH. Only on Nairaland grin
o

Must you always say something just to make yourselve feel better, even when goats and cows knows that you are talking jargons and gibberish. The only Fed uni comparable to the great Ziks University (NAU) in the entire east is only UNN.

Infact its amazing the level of academic and infrastructural development in that citadel UNIZIK within a short time. You can't even begin to mention the likes FUTO and so on, alongside NAU and UNN, its an insult to the pschye of the people of this great country. Apart from federal grants, Anambrans are pumping personal funds into the university in making it a world class. Anambrans as Ekwueme, Soludo, Andy Uba, Coscharis, Oby Okoli of Emzor, Juhel pharm, May & Baker, Emeka Offor are some of the numerous Anambrans that sunk their millions into UNIZIK. Its not a child's play at the level of development in the school.

At best FUTO can be compared to Federal Poly Oko, Fed Poly Bida, ofcos you need to go to Fed Poly Oko to be able to appreciate what is on the ground. As for ANSU, its a purely new university, which from all indications, are building their massive perm site at Igbariam near the Refinery site in Anambra.
http://www.anambrastate.gov.ng/press-release.html

In all this your braggadacio atitude of yours, you never mentioned your own state university to prove some points. Till today your state does not have a state nor federal university/teaching hospital just like Anambra and Enugu respectively.

Boy, I will always advise that you get your info correctly before you unleash garbage in the name of contributing to NL.

Abagworo: I will like to know on what grounds Onitsha is 5 times Aba because from google earth, Aba seems much bigger. Available info shows there are more multi national companies in Aba, more SMEs, more IGR and even more cottage industries.
You keep running round and round. Who on earth does not know that Onitsha is even more than 10x ahead of Aba ngwa? You keep masturbating at the thought of Anambra and Onitsha. Onitsha has more economic activities ahead of any SE city. It can only be compared to Lagos and Rivers when it comes to that
PoliticsRe: Anambra Vs Abia. Which Is More Organized? by jbaur24: 7:40am On Mar 19, 2012
Onitsha is the only major economic hub of the eastern Nigeria. This is on singular city has one or two thing in common with major economic hubs in Nigeria viz a viz. PH and Lagos.

These three economic hubs are the majors pivots of development in Nigeria; Lagos in SW, Onitsha in SE and PH in SS; they all have Sea/River ports. Again Anambra has starting edging forward because of vehicle manufacturing plant at Nnewi is huge investment which in turn will compete with China and Japan. The mega drug manufacturing center in Awka the Juhel Pharmaceutical is another huge investment and upcoming massive LG electronic center.

Capital oil and Nestoil are also investing in oil and gas apart from the Orient Petroleum that will roll out its Refinery soon in Anambra. Anambra has got it all ahead of any SE state.
