well names like attah are popular in southeast, kogi , benue and cross rivers. even idibia is popular among igbos ,idoma and even igala  , if you think am lying use facebook profile search to research it, we are not trying to posses you am only trying to point out your social and cultural ties with the southerners.
Next thing you will say is Idoma Igala share cultural ties with europeans because Mark is a european name. Heck that sound more plausible, most african words in the Niger-Congo lingua family sound the same. Ill give example whats the igbo name for RICE. in idoma it is ochikapa, in hausa its chinkapha and ill say its similar in igbo no?? so stop all this idoma is decended from igbo or slave to hausa.

PoliticsRe: For The Last And Final Time: Benue Is Not North by Jbenue(op): 2:43am On Jun 17, 2011
My main point is Minority tribes should be respected in their own right and on their own merits not as extensions of H.I.Y. last time i checked there were over 250 tribes in the country, but due to inflation of the BIG 3 and their selfish interest the country has been left to rot. The time we respect all nationalities regardless of percieved size is the time naija can move forward otherwise forget about it.

PoliticsRe: For The Last And Final Time: Benue Is Not North by Jbenue(op): 11:28pm On Jun 16, 2011
Haven't you ppl stolen enough from that land already, all your politicians are corrupt, come to think of it the only ruler with integrity in the history of nigeria was a man called Yakubu Gowon a man from a minority tribe.
The sayin "Its quality not quantity" comes to mind. You overgrown bushes need mass sterilization give others a chance for f*** sake!!!
PoliticsRe: For The Last And Final Time: Benue Is Not North by Jbenue(op): 11:22pm On Jun 16, 2011
In my life I have never come across an idoma man with an igbo name, this is what i hate about the 3 headed monster always tryin to possess everything, ohhhhh we are igbo slaves, no we are hausas wannabees, my gracious you guys are the cancer of africa. Everything that is wrong with nigeria at the moment is due to the 3 headed monster igbo man, hausa man and yoruba man. Pathetic bunch.

PoliticsFor The Last And Final Time: Benue Is Not North by Jbenue(op): 6:00pm On Jun 16, 2011
Reading a lot of this idiotic threads about how the number 2 , 3 and 4 positions are filled by northerners I find myself wondering how clueless some of my compatriots are, Simple geography you didn't learn in school. The 3rd highest office of the Federal Republic of Nigeria the Senate presidency is filled by David Mark an Idoma man from Benue state in the MIDDLE Zap.I.N.G BELT not some dessert state in Imam land. Further more since GEJ is a self confessed Igbo man now David Mark is the only politician from a minority tribe to occupy a top 4 position in Nigeria, you Igbos, Hausas, and Yorubas make me laugh all this arguing you guys are doing as to who will be d next papa,  when are you going to zone the presidency to a minority tribe with yourself inflitate egos and population figures angry angry angry angry angry.
PoliticsRe: My Views On Nuhu Ribadu by Jbenue: 6:20pm On Mar 23, 2011
My French friend I agree with your view that the presidential selection on offer really leaves a lot to be desired. However in Ribadu's defence what he lacks in smooth talk he makes up for in action, I believe his choice of VP to be very poor.

PoliticsMinority Tribes Where Are You by Jbenue(op): 4:09pm On Mar 23, 2011
The last time I checked there were more than 3 tribes in Nigeria in fact the so called "drop in the ocean" tribes together constitute 35% of the population( from a census purposely skewed by the big 3).
The highest ranking Government official we have at the moment from the "minority tribe" is David Mark. The minority is grossly under represented in the highest positions in the government, I am tired of Hausa man, Yoruba man , Igbo man, nah only dem dey angry angry?
WHEN ARE WE GOING TO HAVE A MINORITY PRESIDENT?? B4 anyone says, I consider GEJ Igbo.

PoliticsWhat Is The North? by Jbenue(op): 4:29pm On Mar 18, 2011
I am seriously confused now, I hear so many people talking about the "North" without properly defining it, just read somewhere GEJ saying The North has 200 out of the 350 house of rep members huh. Is everything above the two rivers that bissect nigeria the North?
PoliticsI Would Like To Like Posts by Jbenue(op): 9:25pm On Mar 16, 2011
My humble Nairaland authorities if I may, I would like to make a suggestion, I have noticed in the countless hours Ive spent on Nland that it is almost impossible to accurately gauge the mood/reaction of my fellow Nlanders when it comes to what I or others have posted. I would like to propose some mechanism in which Nairalanders can "Like" or "Dislike" individual posts as can be done on both facebook and youtube. This would add a greater depth of participation and perspective to debates and discussions, and it would save busy persons like myself from the tedium of reading through hundreds of posts just to get some feedback.

As a tester please "Like" or "Dislike" this post.

PoliticsRe: Mock Presidential Poll: Who Will You Vote For? by Jbenue: 3:12pm On Mar 15, 2011
What is up with this Buhari craze, don't Nigerians want a clean break away from the twin evils of PDP and Military rulehuh That is the problem with Nigerians they go against the norm, all over the world people are changing their government from outdated to new, old to young, just look at the US & closer home Egypt. But in Nigeria their going from old to old, why not let a relatively young man like Ribadu with his new ideology to lead us, why the same old garbage?
We have Fashola doing wonders in Lagos, he is from the same mettle as Ribadu but no, we Nigerians never cease to amaze, the amount of times we kick against reason. angry angry
PoliticsRe: "CNN's Jonathan Mann To Co-anchor Nigeria's Presidential Debate. For Or Against by Jbenue: 5:36pm On Mar 14, 2011
I saw the lagos governorship debates and pictures of the vice presidential debates. The Lagos debates seemed to be better presented iI mean the setting was better the podium was more elegant and it was a capacity crowd. I only saw pictures of the VP debates but from what i saw it wasnt great.
