Thats what I was Laughing at......Man if Nigeria cant survive then the Black Man is well and truly Fvcked. Nigeria Needs to get its shi.t together. Biafra, Arewa, Yoruba nation, United States of Middle Belt will all fail simply becuase the same problems that haunt Nigeria will continue to haunt them, Clan sentiments within tribes, regional resentment and envy. Nigeria NEEDS to work the Black Man must have a platform on the world stage and Nigeria will be that Platform if only we could get our collective Sh.it together.

auwal87: Let me start from the bottom up.

4- Arewa unlike any other Muslim countries are far more liberal, some few bad elements emerge because of poverty and seeking name only, but Arewa will be just like Turkey in Europe, or Malaysia in Asia, or Bahrain in Middle East.

3- Almajirai are a great resource for Arewa Republic, in no time, they will disappear from the streets, 65% that is not fear, we have more civil servants than any region in Nigeria, go to the ministries in Abuja and other states of Arewa, they are all from Arewa (at least 90%). This is the reality, we have qualified doctors, qualified engineers (go to ABU Zaria and see those behind the Nuclear project, they are all from Arewa), we have Business Gurus (Arewa even though it doesn't have sea ports, most of the distributions are carried from here, I have never seen someone traveling from Arewa to Odua or Biafra to purchase imported food stuffs, but you will see lots of them coming to Arewa to purchase imported stuffs, go to Singer market in Kano, you will see what I am telling you, that markets carries transactions worth billions of naira every single day, why? Because we consume. See Arewa, only those who are ignorant about the country will tell you we only have Almajirai. Because that's what you see in the south.
Wow 4 year on and your word look very very silly indeed. Nigerian Muslims are moderate grin grin grin grin

This extremely ridiculous.....More states for what? So the Elite of Ethnic minorities can also have a share of the oil glazed national cake? Come on focus on Industrializing the existing states and not relying on Abuja. I can see the Pros but there are ways too many cons to this idea. God Bless Nigeria or Airegin.

PoliticsAbuja Airport Closed by Jbenue(op): 10:07am On Jul 06, 2014
THE country’s battered reputation hangs on the balance, once again, as the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, closes operations for 30 hours with effect from last mid-night.

Aviation expert, Captain Dele Ore, described the closure as embarrassing, saying second runway for the airport is long overdue. He said the situation has huge security implications, wondering the options available to the President assuming he has urgent journey to make.

Ore said the closure would substantially affect the earnings of key aviation agencies.

But another expert, Dr. Steve Mahaonwu, said: “Human lives should be given priority first. Any airport can be shutdown if there is a need for that; and that is why we have alternative airports like Kaduna and Ilorin. Shutting down an airport for three days will not kill anybody; it is for the good of the people.”

Coordinating Spokesperson for the Aviation Parastatals, Yakubu Dati, said, in a press statement, that the closure was to enable the Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) carry out facility upgrade in line with the requirements of the global regulator, the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) and its local affiliate, the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA).

Acting on concerns that the solo runway suffered some ruptures, Supervising Minister of Aviation, Chief Samuel Ortom, inspected the facility after which he promised that affected portions would be fixed.

Already, it has been estimated that local operators would lose, at least, N180 million in revenue within the 30-hour closure.

For instance, Arik Air, which operates 36 flights to and from Abuja, daily, may cancel the city operations today. Aero Contractors may also cancel its 22 in-and-outbound flights. The same applies to Medview and others.

Foreign airliners, such as Air France, British Airways, KLM, Lufthansa Air and Ethiopian Airline are faced with re-routing option or outright cancellation. This comes with huge cost implications for travellers (who were not given adequate notice to adjust travelling arrangement) in form of hotel and additional transportation bills.

A former escort today revealed the dark truth behind her champagne and cocaine fulled sex romps adding: "I slept with 10,000 men and 90 per cent of them were married."

Gwyneth Montenegro grew up in Australia at a private school before she went on to become one of the country's highest earning sex workers - often cashing in $2,000 per night from punters for the privilege of her company.

But it was a combination of her being ruthlessly bullied throughout her childhood and having seriously low self esteem that sent her spiralling down to the dark depths of the sex industry.

She told Mirror Online: "At school I was bullied because I was very shy and introverted person - I was an easy target.

"I also had very low self esteem at the time, so a combination of those two made me feel not too good about myself.

"I was just a normal person at home down your street, the girl next door type who you wouldn't expect at all to be an escort.

"But at the time, all I wanted to do was to make a lot of money, so then coupled with my low self esteem it naturally led me to the adult entertainment industry."

While many of her friends became doctors and lawyers, in her 12 year stint from lap dancing to becoming an escort, Gwyneth managed to sleep with 10,091 men and kept a journal recording every single one.

She said: "I journalised it - it sort of started as a bit of a joke, I thought I'd write down my experiences to help me cope with it.

"It's not something I set out to do but the cocaine and champagne high life is very addictive - then all of a sudden 12 years of your life is gone, just like that."

Unique Media PR/Robbie MerrittGwyneth MontenegroSeedy: Gwyneth told of the glamour and pitfalls of her former lifestyle
Her clients were described as mainly 'white collar businessmen' and although she added that around 90 per cent of them were married, Gwyneth claims she doesn't feel guilty as she 'probably saved their marriages'.

"It's simple - men do not cheat if they are getting all the sex they want in the marriage.

"Just because men get married, they don't turn off that part of them and if the woman does not put out for a long time, men can't turn off their biological desire to have sex.

"As one of my clients put it 'I love my wife so much I'm so in love with her but we don't have sex, I only have sex three times a year and I'm a red blooded man I can't deal with that'.

"Men don't cheat because they can, they cheat because they are satisfying their biological desire - this is not Pretty Woman - men don't leave their wife for an escort."

Unique Media PR/Robbie MerrittGwyneth MontenegroLuxury: She charged up to $2,000 per session
It wasn't long before Gwyneth had millionaires queueing up to wine and dine her and treat her to what she considered a glamorous lifestyle - while she told her parents she earned her small fortune from modelling.

She coyly admits to her friends at parties that one of her best ever clients in terms of performance, was actually an 84-year-old man.

Gwyneth said: "A couple of years into my career I honed my craft - it's not just about the sex - it's also being able to meet client's fantasies and also be a companion as well and be a good listener.

"You'd do the simple weekend dates, the two day dirty weekenders, where they would take you to five star restaurants, get glammed up in beautiful dresses - that's the glamorous side of the industry - the good part.

"Sometimes we'd rack up $2,000 a night for dinner and champagne, it was a successful life but it came at a high personal price. I was very lonely and isolated, I only had a handful of friends.

"You shut off from society - you're living this double life as a secret, one minute you're a normal girl next door type and then the other side you're wearing luxury dresses and sexy lingerie - it's the ultimate double life."

But there was a darker side to Gwyneth's profession, she ended up becoming hooked on cocaine and alcohol, doing the drugs at least five times per week.

Unique Media PR/Robbie MerrittGwyneth MontenegroDrugs: Gwyneth was doing cocaine five times per week
She added: "I would attract the white collar workers, the people who had more money, so I was exposed to cocaine for the first time in my early to mid 20s and I thought why not?!

"I got the biggest high - it was the best coke that money could by with these multi millionaire clients and I really enjoyed it.

"One night of experimenting of coke turned into about 6 to 8 months of being on coke and speed, it was 5 days a week."

It was around that time that Gwyneth was involved in a terrible car crash and coming inches from death made her realise she needed to escape her seedy lifestyle.

So while in hospital, she came clean and told her parents the full truth and after recovering, she took up flying lessons where she now works full-time as a commercial pilot.

Unique Media PR/Robbie MerrittGwyneth MontenegroAiming high: She now has a job as a commercial pilot
She said: "After the car crash I realised we only live once and I'm just going to go for it and give it ago. I was able to give back to my parents for being so understanding - they could be proud of me for the first time."

Despite keeping her former profession a secret from her colleagues, Gwyneth has now written a self-published book appropriately titled 10,000 Men and Counting.

But is the 36-year-old now looking to settle down with a special someone?

"Maybe I might look for someone when I'm in my 40s, I'm not in a rush as if I've learned anything from my time as an escort I want to take every day as it comes - as that's what life's about."

What Happened to Shai BUHARI.....Hahahahahaha

This country is FVCKED Up. We have an incompetent President and an opposition too tactless to capitalize on his incompetence .

ALL APC had to do was push Fashola, Ameachi and a young man from the north and quietly campaign while the PDP went from one blunder to another and they would have won the up coming election. Nigerians are not as stupi.d as the sound- they clearly see the deficiencies in Jonathan and the PDP. All APC had to do was provide a remotely credible solution to the nations problems and the populace would have welcomed them, but instead the decided to play politics of shouting, ranting and religious bigotry with the FG.

The old saying goes " Never argue with a mad man, because from a distance passers-by will not know who is who" Hopefully the next opposition that presents itself as the hope of the nation will learn from this.

SOMETIMES I FEEL YOU MIDDLEBELT DESERVES THE ILL TREATMENT METED OUT TO YOU BY THE ISLAMIC NORTH. YOU ARE INDEED A WILLING TOOL TO BE USED AND DUMPED. THERE ARE A LARGE POPULATION OF INGENIOUS IGBOS IN DELTA AND RIVERS STATE. THEY DERSERVE A STATE.
And you really believe that creating another state for igbo or what ever other ethnic group would be a step to stopping mass poverty of that people I doubt it. It is better we see ourselves as Nigerians rather than igbo fula etc. And I am not laughing at the Igbo people but at their prospective new senators. If you believe for one second that the governors, senators and reps will for one second share the nation cake with their electorate then you are kidding yourself.
PoliticsRe: Why Do You Support The PDP by Jbenue(op): 10:19am On Jul 03, 2014
omo harry: When APC came on board, we were very delighted to at least have a breath of fresh air from the shackles of the PDP. But we discovered that some of those people that have been in the PDP from the beginning and contributed to the problem of the country decamped to the APC. APC openly accepted them with open hands becasue they had one thing in their mind" TO CAPTURE POWER BY ALL MEANS".

APC does not have a clear cut ideology and their priority is not the Nigerian People but their quest to capture power by all means from the PDP.
Just take a look at the leader of the party TINUBU and his spoke man Lia Mohammed. they just criticize everything weather is good or bad. opposition are suppose to be the voice of the people and criticize government's bad policies and action when it does not favor the masses but they would rather oppose everything even when people are dying in their hundreds without bringing out any solution.Always looking for any crisis in the country to score cheap political goal. Is that the party that want to save the nation from its present state.

Tinubu with is position has his wife as a senator, his daughter as Iyalodja and his son inlaw as a member of house of reb. Haba, nai be sey by the time he win a federal sit he will own have of the properties of this country.

NOW we know the PDP are devils, selfish and lack the interest of the citizen at heart but APC coming as a knight in shining Armour to rescue Nigerian from the the problem she find herself is pretty annoying. all i see around APC is just propaganda and nonconstructive criticism. I will rather stick to the devil i know until APC put their house in order. If possible Nigerian would rather vote for a competent person who comes on board under any party with the right ideology to serve the nation.
Very well said.....I could not believe it when I heard ATIKU I repeat ATIKU had joined APC. I really had high hopes that we had finally gotten a credible opposition but boy was I wrong. I had hoped that Fashola would run for President election and someone like Ribadu or El rufai would be VP but know we are stuck with Buhari and Tinubu. And the lack of Political Ideology in Nigeria is Galling, what are APCs economic policies and for that matter what are PDPs? same question could be asked about Security, Housing, Education etc. It is just a hopeless situation.
PoliticsRe: Factors Behind APC Popularity Decline by Jbenue: 10:10am On Jul 03, 2014
The real problem came was when they removed Fashola as their poster boy and replaced him with Emperor Tinubu and Sultan Buhari
