SABALI SABALI SABALI YONTE SABALI SABALI SABALI KANYE NIKERE MOGO |
Nice post little skewed i totally expect ACN to dominate the SW, having said that i think ribadu missed a trick in not choosing an igbo or SS VP. He did not need a yoruba to sure up the SW he has Tinubu and Fashola for that. If he had chosen a SS VP that would have incresed his stock in both the SS and SE. AS for GEJ I see him cleaning up in the SS & SE but thats about it. Buhari will take the NW and conservative muslims will vote foe him. There are two things i wish for, 1 that there be no rigging and 2 that pdp lose no matter what!!!!!!!!!1 UP RIBADU ![]() |
why cant we have an acn cpc alliance? maybe a buhari/ribadu ticket of Ribadu/ buhari doesnt really matter, im a christian and i dont care if they are both muslim. |
Is it just a coincident that the power deprived country that is nigeria has hit 4000mw 23 days before the election, hahaha Nigeria do not be fooled. |
I am not for one moment a GEJ supporter but i can smell bias from a mile, credit where credit due nice to know Buhari has a clear manifesto, now analyze Ribadu's manifesto for us pls. Vote Ribadu Maybe Buhari Never GEJ |
From reading a lot of the posts from Nlanders in the politics section, I have to say that many of you cannot endorse or denounce politicians or theirs parties objectively and without sentimentality or bias. So I propose that we analyze each party or individual on an objective Pros & Cons basis. I shall start Pdp: Pros-1 Navigated Nigeria relatively safely through its transition to Civilian rule -2 Initiated the telecommunications revolutions in the last decade -3 Has held the country together for 12yrs Cons-1 Has failed to provide basic infrastructure; electricity, water, sanitation, roads, etc -2 Has failed to conduct credible elections during its 12yr reign -3 Presided over the educational collapse of the country -4 Has failed to tackle the crippling unemployment in the county ACN: Pros-1 A good opposition party -2 The success of Lagos so far -3 Young vibrant members; Fashola and Ribadu Cons-1 Untested on a grand scale -2 Overdose tribal sentimentality -3 Latent Godfather-ism within the ranks I leave it there. Please post your Pros and Cons about these parties or any other parties or individuals. NO SENTIMENTALITY!!!!!!!!!!!! |
they are all crooks and looters so i relly dont care which one is finer. Beauty fades and they shall all get their just deserves |
As if we have'nt seen the effects of religion and politics mixing already, Now we have a full blown jihadist and a king james pastor, maybe they'll cancel each other out dont know God help us. |
A man who used Facebook to put a curse on a Nigerian politician has been jailed, raising fears of a crackdown on freedom of speech ahead of crucial elections. Moukhtar Ibrahim Aminu was arrested in the northern state of Jigawa for being a public nuisance, police spokesman Abdul Jinjiri said. Aminu was held in prison for several days before appearing in a local court, where he was charged with defamation and sent back to jail pending trial. Jinjiri said Aminu's crime stemmed from a comment he posted on Facebook on 18 January. Writing in the local Hausa language, Aminu asked that divine punishment be levelled against Sule Lamido, the governor of Jigawa and a co-founder of the ruling People's Democratic party. "Allah curse Sule Lamido and all his useless friends," the posting said. "Allah make Sule Lamido and his friend useless." Such curses can carry tremendous importance in Nigeria, a nation of 150m people where animist beliefs mix with Christianity and Islam. Some believe the curses can damage them for life, while others take them as an insult. The case has prompted furious comments on governor Lamido's Facebook wall. One protester, Gerald C Azike, posted: "Your excellency, if what I read about your detention of a young man was because of what he said on your face book [sic], then that is being so callous. How can you arrogate such a power to yourself in this present world? It is only because it is in Nigeria where anything goes that you can do that." Aminu's arrest came despite laws protecting freedom of speech. Femi Falana, a lawyer and civil rights activist, cited a 1983 court decision clearly showing that politicians and others cannot demand the arrest of individuals who slander, libel or defame them. But he added: "In Nigeria, a lot of illegalities are committed by the government." Umar Kyari, a spokesman for Lamido, insisted the governor's office had no hand in the arrest. "This story is between the police and the boy. This story is not between the governor and the boy per se. It is left to the legal system to either free or detain him," he told the Associated Press The Nigerian president, Goodluck Jonathan, who is bidding for re-election in April, announced his candidacy on Facebook and has made great play of using it to connect with young voters. He has more than 450,000 fans on the social networking site. |
Joagbaje:SO YOU MEAN TO TELL ME THAT THOSE BOOKS THAT WHERE SUPPORTED BY OVER A THOUSAND EARLY BISHOPS AND CHURCH LEADERS WAS INSPIRED AND CANONIZED ENOUGH FOR A POMPOUS ENGLISH KING? GREAT MEN OF GOD LIKE ST AUGUSTINE SOUGHT INSPIRATION FROM THOSE UNINSPIRED BOOKS, SO HOW CAN AN UPSTART LIKE KING JAMES CREATE HIS OWN VERSION OF THE TRUTH. |
why cant the north stop this childishness!!!!!!!!!!! i mean is it all about religious affiliation?. im a southern christian and i want ribadu to win. i dont care for where a man chooses to enter in order to pray. even if the wanted a muslim could they not find anyone better than atiku? |
I actually hope Ribadu wins for the sake of change, this country has been at the mercy of the "BIGGEST PARTY IN AFRICA" AKA PDP for 11 years. That s is 4015 days( leap years not accounted for) i ask you what have they done in that 11 years, is an average child of age 11 suitable educated and does he/she have tangible prospects for the future? that is the question you have to ask yourselves people. As for GEJ, what has he done since his high of dissolving the FEC? He has promised much like getting power and the voter registration sorted as of today the status quo is unchanged. Why would anybody of sound mind ever vote for PDP again? ARE Nigerians that inane? If you took a gun an shot yourself in the foot and after experiencing the anguish would you shoot the other foot? c'mon ppl do yourselves a favour and get rid of the cancer that has been killing us slowly 4 the past 11 years. Up Ribadu!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
Hi i just want someone to answer me this question, why did king James feel the need to omit 5 books from the original bible? and is this not in clear violation of Johns warning at the end of the original codex litanum. 18 This is my solemn attestation to all who hear the prophecies in this book: if anyone adds anything to them, God will add to him every plague mentioned in the book; 19 if anyone cuts anything out of the prophecies in this book, God will cut off his share of the tree of life and of the holy city, which are described in the book. |
TOP BABY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! UP THE ARSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
Ofcourse the guy is a Zap.i.n.g nutter |
The outcomes are pre-determined and the fistacuffs are pretty tame compared to an actual fight however you still need a considerable pain treshold. |

In a sensational interview with MAMIWOTA TV. The United States president and commander-in-chief said he plans to resign from his current post in order to run for office in the upcoming elections in Nigeria. When ask why he was taking this course of action he replied " I feel I will earn a better living wage as a Nigerian leader". The citizens of the West African state are said to be jubilant at the developments, with one Mr Rufus Ola Emeka Dan Zuma saying " I tell una that this day go come, Obama mother come from Kogi and in papa na Bayelsa man" Obama is expected to face stiff competition from other presidential aspirants such as IBB, Former VP Atiku Abubakar and Nuhu Ribadu, however Obama is said to have won the hearts of many Nigerians already with his charisma, charm and sincere manner. Scores of people were seen on the streets of Kano sporting Obama T-shirts, waving flags and chanting " WE GO DO AM" which is apparently the new Obama slogan. |
this is stupid, the sooner men learn that women are their equals the better. yes in the west women have way too much power, but in africa men also have an excess of power. So you like slapping women, and that makes you feel assertive, I pity you, |
5 nil motherfucker!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Real are shit. WHAT Mourinho not so special now. |
Okay firstly my term Murder, just means they put tough questions to them, yes. Secondly when these moronic Nigerians talk about how blessed we are in respect to oil and lament at our state of poverty they have a valid point. In this instant you are the one being moronic, we all know oil revenue will not finance every little facet of Nigeria, what we are saying is if that revenue was invested into key sectors by the government, in order to nurture a conducive environment for the private sector to thrive then we wouldn't be so retched. So if you think of it on average Nigeria has been prodicing over 2 million barrels of crude per day for the past twenty years. 2,000,000x $55x 365x 20= $803,000,000,000 divide by 2= $400 billionAre you telling me that $400 billion is not enough to start implementing programs no? even if you shared that money with a population of 150 million people 70% of the population would have more than they could earn in their lifetime. Concluding I feel you and OBJ point that Nigeria shouldn't be compared with other oil producing states on the basis of our population is both futile and irrelevant |
Sagamite:at least we agree on something mate, that Ribadu is the best option for Nigeria, I like him not just because he has shown courage and integrity through out his career but also because he is not part of this North South bull. he has always maintained his distance from the likes of the Ciroma group and Northern axis of power. However I think you are still wrong on the GEJ & Isha issue, Politicians in the west always get murdered by journalists. Its only Africans who think politicians are sacred creatures that should not face the indignity of the press. Face it from the threads Ive read you seem to be in the minority. Isha did a cracking job. Now she needs to interview IBB!!!!!! |
Why was the mushroom so popular ![]() ?BECAUSE HE WAS A FUNGI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ![]() What do you call a terrorist who takes al quaida money but doesn't blow up the plane ![]() Nigerian 419 scammer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ![]() A northern mallam ask his colleague "Why did the woman cross the road" ![]() Colleague says "to get to the other side" Mallam retorts "That's not the point! What was she doing out of the kitchen" ? |
texazzpete:dude chill its like its your mother im dissing . Matter of fact is he your mother ? ![]() |
Sagamite:What was the point of the interview then? Look I'm am personally ambivalent about GEJ, in my opinion as leaders go he is not too clever, his mastery over words isn't great. I have watched so many of his interviews in many of them he comes across as aloof, if you are not bright you have to surround yourself with smart people, he clearly hasn't done that. If he had smart people on his side they would have advised him that he would lose more than gain if he did the interview, taking your line that he had insufficient time to respond properly that is. |
Sagamite:Reduce corruption? How? Lets take that one. That is just a heading, now he has to articulate how he is going to achieve that. Rather he starts with his fingers pointing in all directing like a traffic warden. If it was obama or Cameron being interviewed on their manifesto they would be exact and thorough about what they are likely to do, even if it is a pack of lies. Face it Nigerian politicians and political parties 4 that matter have no policies or meaningful manifesto, when ask what they are going to do when they come to power, they all say the same holy trinity saying " I am going to focus on security, fight corruption and reinforce infrastructure" Yes we will all do that but how? What exactly is your road map sir? Don't just roll of headings but substantiate them. |
There was absolutely nothing wrong with that interview. This should serve as a lesson to the weak journalist we have in Nigeria. Onething I detest about Nigeria is that over used mantre "respect your elders". Too often people shy away from challenging politician(elders) out of misplace respect, so what if he is the president? I laughed when Aisha ask him about his policies, guess what? he had none! My motto is that you can be as big as you want and as old as you want, however if you are resonating stupidity I will call you stupid and that was exactly what Aisha did. |
Muazu Babangida Aliyu-if politics was a beauty pageant, woulld he win?
