I started this in-Canada argument with @Afoncad last month or so but when I saw his insistence I backed off when it was turning to hot exchange as a gentleman wey i be.

I am surpsrise his basis from this thread is he has witnessed two people do apply successfully from inside Canada but what he may not be privy of is if they have spouse/ direct relatives that are students, workers or they completed a prerequisite course of the course they applied for.

His cousin would have filled a relative in Canada that qualified him for a student visa with his visit visa, how did he skipped that important criteria?

In-country application for student visa that I know has its own eligibility and Bullstriker has just emphasized what I told Affoncad earlier.

I understand there are genuine cases as highlighted below but even then such student must apply for it or their spouse to be able to continue working based on humanitarian provision provided for challenged student either through deferrement of admission or abandonment where the student has become destitute. It is not Automatic based on any emergency.

The example we are speaking to is when the student intentionally applies to extend there study start date so they can work and make up for funds ordinarily the PoF they claimed to have should have catered for. If such happens, so far the student or spouse worked with a SIN and it is on record they/or spouse were not actively enrolled as at then without applying for the humanitarian reason to get work approval while study is paused, the so-called student/spouse would be deemed to have violated Study/Work condition.

Finally, you forgot Spouse also declared PoF for their upkeep during their SOWP application when accompany spouse in their study period so it is not an excuse. Reason they have that financial requirement intact. It is only the medical cost in this case that is emergency, all other cost should have been provisioned for.

What you are saying is not true, there can be genuine leave of absence from a student, that can cause the student not to be actively pursuing studies like illness and the student may have came to Canada with spouse on SOWP,even otherwise,it is not even illegal for the SOWP holder to continue work as long as the permit is still valid..
Haven't you heard the current news of a student that came to Canada on study permit and had a car accident was in coma with injuries, so how will the student actively pursue studies with the conditions and the Student came with spouse on SOWP and have children also, so if you are an immigration officer, you will revoke the SOWP or term the spouse work done on this circumstances illegal in canada .

Omo that na violation of study intent and automatic removal order, d person should not try it oh.

Study permit gives life to SOWP. If you are not actively pursuing your studies, any work done on the SOWP is illegal. Dont try it now that Canada is saying getting PR after study is no more automatic. Do not gibe them tje rope they will use to hang you

In otherwords, visas are approved for essentials travels.

It would have had a chance if he had strong travel history like been to USA, Europe and returned back but for a fresh and untested profile, they would mark it X.

Talking about starting a new road, ask the residents of Port harcourt road what they went through for the past 20yrs because of bad road, go there now and hear their testimony. Go and check the ABSUTH, how messy the place was prior to Alex Otti coming in. Go also and check General Hospital Aba before he came in an now.
I know the state of Aba roads prior to Otti coming in I know how it is now. Ohanku and Ngwa Road were totally abandoned, pls kindly visit those places now.

On workers salary you are a liar. The burdenOtti had was previous administrations were owing Abia workers accumulated wages which Otti inherited and started clearing gradually. My cousin is a lecturere in Abia Poly so I get first hand information on wages from him.

On Uzodinma's side. He is my state governor. We are from the same LGA Oru East. Trust me am closer to Uzodinma than u can imagine. I dont want to reveal certain details online. MY immediate elder sister is heading a department in the local government so I know what exactly is happening.

Not everybody receives salaries in Abia state.
He has sacked the most workers in govt history in Nigeria, yet he wouldn't properly implement the new minimum wage. Judge it yourself whether it's right that a level 12 officer who have worked for more than 10 years is not able to earn up to 100k with the new minimum wage.
The only thing Otti does is to rehabilitate a portion of roads that are bad and then hype them as a new projects. But people knows the truth.
Ask one civil servant or all the civil servants in Abia state if they'd vote Otti again.

If it is real visitor visa expiration you are talking about then you can apply alone since your hubbys and child own are active. You are likely to be given if you havent abuse the visa given to you earlier but you must meet every requirement for visit visa by Nigerians.

The reason for your application can be family vacation or better visiting a foreign worker/student/PR/Citizen in Canada. You will have to share the active visit visa stamp of your family members and with proof of relationship with them.

You must be talking about IRCC application expiration if I should understand you well and not Canada visit visa issuance expiration.

Just delete all and start with everyone afresh since you didn't submit the applications. This may help you review your circumstance afresh and make the application more effective.

You can delete a created account as many times and create back.

Why are South Africans so bitter a people? The blacks especially. You gave many Nigerians scholarship to do Masters and PhD and when it was time for them to give back to your country you deny them of PR to work. They always complain of people taking their women and work when they don't have academic qualifications.

Most of these guys you gave scholarship (including my spouse) have relocated to Canada, US, UK, Australia and Europe. SA lost resources that should be contributing to research work that will better her country.
