Almost impossible. The closest I have seen is a PhD holder from Nigeria with Canada PR gotten via Express Entry gets an appointment without need for LMIA or any work permit.

If you can do the work, get high score in English and French test.....then you can try Express entry for PR but young people are lazy and some of us older cannot cope with the stress, so we all want the expensive school route.

Well, someone thinking of doing PR before will find it useful. The most shocking for me is the changing of the rule for SOWP for spouse of Masters programme. It must be 16 months (2 years) in length. Then the spouse applying for SOWP must also be in TEER 0 or 1 (Management or Professional) classification of employment or any employment in labour shortage. Canada don vex oh. This regime is trying too much to favour her citizens because of elections.

With the new rule on work, study has more chance.

The new immigration route says LMIA or SOWP will only be available for Management and Professional positions that is TEER 0 and 1. They have removed 2,3,4 and 5 to reserve for Canadians.

Another option is any job level Teer 0 to 5 where there is labour shortage e.g Care

Sharing his case scenerio can also give us visibility about his reapplication chances if we get a gcms note. Although someone has given the current situation in Canada now as per Visit application which is really the truth.

Wether you like it or not , you must add quality work to your grace/faith else it will be faith without work which is DEAD. You think I am not spiritually inclined? All the best to you but hope you put the best foot in your application process because those elements are critical in the decision of your application by IRCC and not just confesssion/what you desire. I wish you well, I am not negative I am only telling you the realities of life/spirituality and you should adjust your expectations by having backups. Not everyone that work hard will get Canada visa especially these times.

I had your mentality before the MP told me to see visa approval like someone welcoming you to his house, you dont use your confession or rule to enter. You have to abide by the rule of your invitee and beside sometimes you can fulfil the rule and he will still say dont come. I adjusted since and I am better. Lets not make our country situation make it look like it must happen, it is not our heritage in Christ.

Wow, I never even thought about his refusal in that direction.

For me, my balance even came down from 20m to like 2m cos I was paying my spouse tuition and living expenses and it later rose to over 20m courtesy bonuses and salaries (attached). My immigration support advised me to print from the 20m opening balance to closing balance in excess of 20m plus for my 6 months statement. I didn't know such details matters in funding profile of an applicant.

Opening balance was 7m, whilst closing balance was 30m. That means you accrued 30X your salary in 7 months. If you didn’t sell a property or received some sort of bonus someplace, that looks like fundsparking and it makes your application look bad.

If there is no ban, he can reapply anytime he deems ready to but it is advisable to get the gcms notes (which will state the explanation for the visa officer refusal of his application).

With the details of the gcms notes, he can then correct all the concerns of the visa officer which sometimes may take time on its own to fix.

It is after then he does have a chance to get approval if he reapplied. Else, it will be another gamble to throw away 100 CAD, huge PoF profile and 6 month waiting time

Make sure to state that your offer covers the tuition, insurance and living expenses. As regards to this offer, you are allowed to start study on a waived tuition fee. I wish you could get a tuition fee wavier letter from your school.

Visit USA or/ and Europe if you can . It will boost your travel profile. Then you can do Canada. Infact you will get CAN plus.

Another thing is allow madam and the children go for a sponsored vacation by you. When they go and come, you can then apply for yours.

By so doing you get strong home ties for each application.

When we condemn the act people give as excuse for abusing asylum privilege it looks like we dont want there progress. For one National that falsely claims asylum in Canada about 2k genuine persons will be refused also. That is the effect. So sorry for your refusal even with such high profile.

It doesn't apply to you because in all the earth God made your case special or IRCC will apply a different rule for you.

At last the outcome will either be Approved or Refused. Not accepting this is what breaks people's heart and make them feel suicidal when they get a decision. We spiritualize everything in this country as if those refused are not children of God or don't pray enough.

I think the IRCC are very proactive now to ensure if you don't have a great career or business profile, good travel history and reputation, gainfully employed in a reputable company, have a thriving business or have a genuine person to visit in Canada, you may likely not get it.

You must check at least two or more of this list. So just kiss the idea as Dead On Arrival.

I dont think so, she is feeling the peole who are over there are just unneccessarily discouraging others but the realities must be said. Who no go no sabi oh. Expectations must be managed appropriately before venture.

What I will advise is dont sell properties to japaa with Visitor Visa, your chances of conversion to work or aduro (Asylum) is less than 0.001%.

However if you are dogged, tenacious and resilient: you can sell your land or any worthy investment invest in 2 yrs Diploma or Masters study that has modern day relevant or apprenticeship program to get 3 yrs PGWP. The Nigerian with the above personality will be able to convert to PR either by Student Connection, PNP or worst case Canadian Experience Class. However, come with at least 60% of your proof of fund. Some of us have to sacrifice staying apart to fund our spouse from home country. It isnt easy but it is worth trying.

Why go that extent for what the decision doesnt lies on you? I feel your pains but what will you say about some of us that have families in Canada and we are unable to rejoin. Yours is just money, some of us is what money cannot quantify so its best you know that this visa thing is a privilege. In one of my previous refusals, the VO practically didnt give any reason for the refusals..so painful but what shall we do? Best advice is manage your expectation prudently and always have a backup plan.

Bro, it's because you didn’t pay an agent, that's why you're talking like this. If you drop 2 million as a down payment to an agent, hoping to get a visa, then you'll understand that most of us are only expecting approval. Rejection is a huge financial and mental loss. I sold my motorbike last year, and the rejection pained me to the bone. Now, I'm still looking for a way to reapply!
