I still believe you are exaggerating. Tell us how you paid 42k CAD in 20 months with student work (limited hours). Were you staying in a free house in Canada and you are not paying monthly. Note that you will not pay less than 600 to 700 CAD per month for a shared apartment ( the cheapest available) and thar alone is about 700 x 20 (14k CAD) aside feeding, transport, clothing and other basic bills. You keep deceiving others for them to get entrapped and be at the mercy of asylum seeking or ircc refusing them pgwp due to overwork beyond stident limit. This is not to discourage others but the best you can fund with a student job is your living expenses cost (not your tuition) that is when you even get a job and the 20hours shift. Now a lot of student are refused pgwp by ircc cos they flouted the student working hours due to temptation to work more and meet up. Guys don't ruin your efforts. Plan your financing moderately and stop falling for this trap. The reality of Canada today has changed from the 2022/2023 and eatlier days. Even 24 hrs student work has been brought back to 20 hours because of student abuse. Our folks like abusing system they met decently. gaeul: I had some money when I went to Canada but my 42,000 sch fees was paid with working here with so many extra savings. Internship alone was $10,000 for 2 months. My program was 2yrs. I did monthly payment plan. I didn’t spend a penny from my Nigeria account. I just want to encourage someone that your will and determination is enough. You don’t have to seek asylum, you can get that degree with your will. Just don’t be Lazy, that’s all. Ask questions and surround yourself with positive people. Just to add, my program was 20months and the fees was paid monthly for 20months |

Are you serious or chasing clout? You even have the audacity to quote percentage. Do you know how much is living cost or you think Canada is Nigeria that you pay 800k naira per annum for accommodation. My spouse has worked over 1k hours in 9 months during limited and break period yet I send not less than 800k per month to support her tuition and living expenses from Nigeria aside from additional support for school fees. This is College oh not Masters. Why do you deceive the public to entrap them? For what purpose? gaeul: Don’t discourage people, 70% of international student pay 50-100% of fees working here. The fees are extremely high to begin with. How many people have that sitting in their account. If you have the money fine but all one need to study abroad is the will not even money… |

Is it not better you get refusal that is fair (based on your true status) than going to package what will come out as misrepresentation leading to ban? He has to forget about Canada in the next 5 or 10 years. funkyy598: i notice when an applicant is refused or ban for fake document that when this agent will claim they did not see any update in the portal and Still refuse to release login detail to the applicant |
Education › Re: Lion Kills Handler At OOPL Zoo, Management orders investigation by Jeboy(m): 12:30pm On Sep 29, 2024 |
Lions generally do not attack humans for several reasons:
1) Natural Behavior: Lions are apex predators that primarily hunt large herbivores like wildebeests, zebras, and buffalo. Humans are not their natural prey.
2) Fear and Caution: In their natural habitat, lions often avoid humans. They can sense human presence and may perceive humans as a potential threat.
3) Habitat and Territory: Lions tend to inhabit areas where human presence is limited. In regions where humans encroach on lion habitats, interactions may increase, but attacks remain relatively rare.
4) Diet and Hunting Patterns: Lions are social animals that hunt in groups. Their hunting strategies are adapted to prey that provides sufficient food for the pride. Humans do not fit into this dietary pattern.
5) Encounters with Humans: Most lion attacks on humans occur when lions feel threatened, are protecting their young, or are habituated to human presence (for instance, if they’ve learned to associate humans with food).
6) Cultural Factors: In some cultures, lions are respected and feared, which may contribute to humans avoiding direct encounters with them.
While lions can and do attack humans on rare occasions, such incidents are typically the result of unusual circumstances rather than a standard behavior.

For better explanation, 90% of materials used for producing the passport (digital materials) are all imported not locally sourced. Hence, any rise in forex exchange on naira affects its production costs. Hence, while fees like WES, IELTS, phones. Laptops etc have maintained stable price globally the cost of Nigerians will continue to get high because of naira factor.
What is CBN Governor doing? He has arrested all the crypto CEOs yet know stability.
Not the fault of interior minister. |

OlujobaSamuel: The person I really blame here is the NSA, considering that he was once the head of efcc, and also a senior police officer, he should have talked to the DSS, IG and EFCC heads, sincerely the governor's aides could have been given an order to effect the arrest as they are also security agents with allegiance to the nation before any principal |

If cases were done in absentia, all the shenanigans of jumping from moving van, hiding in hospitals or showing up with stretchers will not matter since the case will go on whether or not they show up.
As for EFCC, all these stories you are saying does not sound good to the ears abeg. If he was using one hand to hold the governor, you could have handcuffed the other hand to a car door handle since he was at the car park and they were a lot of cars around. A |

The number one reason for stricter measures is Asylum abuse. This makes them to analyze indices that were formerly overlooked. The question is if this sailor has applied for a TRV between 2020 and 2022, there are chances he would have gotten the visa. While I acknowledge the gaps in the opening and closing balance but it will shock you that a Japanese (if they require visa or even South African will present similar bank statement and they will get the TRV in the present today. So anyone saying historical data of abuse doesn't count is only saying half truth. That is the basis of the extensive investigations for Nigerian applicants. affoncad: I dnt like discussion asylum issue but you Saying asylum claims are not related to the current high refusal rates shows a lack of understanding of how visa systems work. Countries like Canada, usa actively monitor and adjust their immigration policies based on the behavior of previous applicants. If there’s an increase in visa misuse—and current IRCC data shows a 700% increase in asylum applicants from Nigerians, among other countries like India—authorities become more cautious, making it harder even for genuine applicants to get approved. The link between abuse and higher refusal rates is well-documented, so it can't be ignored in this context. Also, check the current rate of student visa rejections compared to last year. So you think an "alarming trend"as stated by the minister will be ignored with it security implications! |

I blame the connivance with cbn that is giving them cheap dollars to import the fuel. leisuretym: Dangote should forget about Arsenal for now and focus his attention on the refinery , he need to have his own version of NNPC retail filling stations, start building mega stations with lots of pump attendants and supply directly to those stations , by then he will have the full support of the masses and every one fight for him, he should forget about whatever NNPC is doing and sell his products , how can the cabal be so shameless , you dont want to safe the naira
producing fuel in another country means Nigerian you losing refinery jobs
using dollars to import fuel is killing the Naira, by the time he have filling stations everywhere, the cabas will get the message and know its no longer business as usual |

What about visits to Temporary residents like students or workers (non-PR /non-Citizens)? affoncad: Yes, currently IRCC favors family visits for families of PRs and citizens, but a person with a good travel history can still apply as a tourist. In my opinion, however, it is not a good time now for a first-timer with no strong travel history or family in Canada to apply for a Canadian tourist visa! |

South Africans don't run away from there country as we do. Too bad. Kurukuru: They said that the integrity of the immigration system has been bastardised. The PR pathway is just a priviledge for the intetnational students. Section 216 of the IRPA that establishes international student program wants those coming to Canada to be bonafide students. Some guys in this forum will qualify for Canada VO. Dem too sabi book. bullstriker: Sufficient funds depend on the type of sponsorship and ability to demonstrate reliable sources of income. For example, you must show funds for the tuition fees and living expenses for the duration of your program if you have no sponsor, OR show funds for one year and a reliable source that can generate funds in your absence for the subsequent year. On the other hand, if you are using a sponsor, you can show just the cost of education for one year, regardless of the duration of your studies. It is noteworthy that showing just the minimum is not recommended as it is unconvincing for the sponsor to spend all the funds on your education. In your case, it seems the VO believed that the funds are unavailable for your studies, hence the refusal under IRPR 220(a) and (b), which are insufficient funds for tuition and living expenses, respectively. A VO can refuse an application for insufficient funds, even if the balance is enough to cover the cost of education if; 1. there are lump sums with no reasonable explanation. 2. Inability to demonstrate the relationship between the sponsor and you, and if the sponsor is a thirty party, the incentive for the sponsorship. 3. The account was opened recently 4. It is a corporate account with poor cash flow and/or failure to show the sponsor is the business's sole owner and has access to the account. 5. Unconvincing source of income
This list is not exhaustive. Most importantly, order gcms note. |

So sorry about your refusal. Your ordered gcms note will give you better clarity. Know that it is not just having N40m in your account that is the koko, you must be able to justify how you earned the money and how you are continue to earn to sponsor your program. Without that justification, even if you put 100m in your account, it will be refused for insufficient or unavailable fund. Rachy3063: Good afternoon everyone .
