Take it from someone who knows.

I have worked on power plant projects. There are no turbines sitting in warehouses somewhere, waiting for buyers.

You start by holding meetings with various OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers) of the various components (turbines, cooling Systems, pumps, piping, sealants, lube, support Structures, transformers.......you get the idea) gather specifications, and put your system together. Then, you pick a site, run soil tests, topo surveys, environmental impact assessments.......all this before you even scratch the ground!

Now, you have not talked about the substations and overhead transmission lines......same process.

Then......financing. AfDP Nexim, AFREXIM, foreign banks, all sorts of meetings before you can place a single order. Manufacturing now starts. OEMs will need to assemble parts from all over the world. After this, EPC contractors and consultants are selected (another bidding process).

The site construction starts, while offshore logistics continues, then comes clearing, Overland transport to site, installation, then testing and commissioning (not the political ribbon-cutting, but making sure all systems work together).

Look, I have over 2 decades of experience in this, and not even I, or any of my very experienced ogas, Nigerian or Expat, can pull it off in a little over 3 months, even as President.

She simply doesn't know what she's saying.
