MaxInDHouse: Why arguing publicly with Muslims nah?😟 If Islam truly has what to convince their listeners would they have resulted to violence? Well the guy just lost his life for lacking in wisdom:
Beginning a fight is like opening a floodgate; Before the quarrel breaks out, take your leave. Proverbs 17:14 So many of those guys stage "debates" with Muslims pretending to be pastors, who conceded defeat and the people will be amazed and praise their leader, all because of a charade. If a real Christian shows up, it all quickly unravels. There are many such debates online, held in the US, UK and other countries. I am yet to see any where the Muslim wins, against a real Christian, with valid proof from the Bible and Qur'an. However, in Africa and the Middle East, it's better to not argue if one values his life. However the one who loses even his life will find it for eternity with the Lord. Anyone who is ready will say, "if I perish, I perish". It was obvious the Pastor "finished" his opponent, with a couple of Muslims accepting Christ. That's the reality. Win a debate, the next thing is violence. Only a Christian who is ready to die will hold a public debate with a Muslim in Africa. |

franchasng: As we condemn our ladies that chose the hookup life, the greater blame should go to our Nigerian men who have chosen to be complete evil in their desperate desire to make money at all cost. Blaming ladies for doing hookup is not a solution to this societal decadence because the ladies even confessed that the two men held guns and must have used the guns to subdue them, which means they can still use the same guns to even adopt good ladies at gunpoint and still do their dirty stuff. The ball is in the cot of our federal government to up their game in fighting crime. We need to revisit our laws, we need to overhaul our security, Nigeria need more security and we need to look towards securing the whole Nigeria using CCTV cameras and solar power systems. We need to up our game, blaming girls doing hookup is not the solution because these killers can still use the same gun to forcefully adopt good ladies from their homes, school hostels, on the road, on transit, etc and nothing will happen. I remember, growing up in the 80s, evil men were kidnapping schoolchildren. That was where the Yoruba term "gbomogbomo" (those who snatch children) came from. There have always been politicians. There have always been ritualists. They had always been evil. Hookup girls just gave them a relatively easy supply of bodies and blood, by willingly going into secluded areas with men they'd never met in their lives. In spite of this, the girls will still continue, even when some of them get killed. Children are still being snatched by ritualists, though. All I'm saying is that hookup girls submit themselves, making it easier for the ritualists. |

About time! The agreement for the Presidential Power Initiative (PPI) was signed by Late President Buhari of Nigeria and former Chancellor Angela Merkel of Germany. The finances is funded in two components, offshore and onshore. Offshore is covered by Germany, and it goes into the MANUFACTURE OF EQUIPMENT BY GERMAN INDUSTRIES (about 80 percent of the total funds) while roughly 20% is for the local construction and installation. During Bihari's administration, we heard that 100 million Euros had been appropriated already. Well, better late than never. I should be visiting one of those projects by next week. It will be interesting to see the progress made. |

Courier kọ, Korea ni. You didn't get the message he was trying to pass across. What he's saying is, if anyone is travelling abroad, such a person should not agree to personally carry packages for others, and if anyone wants to send stuff, they should go and use couriers, like UPS, or FEDEX. Of course, drug traffickers use Couriers. The drugs get intercepted, and the receiver's address gets flagged. The receiver will be investigated and arrested. That one is even worse, if you ask me. A person in the diaspora can be implicated that way. If people here know their addresses, they can just mail drugs to them so they can get in trouble. However, Oyibos understand this, so they also go after the senders too, through international collaboration with NDLEA. |

IzunnaOkafor: By Izunna Okafor, Awka
The Anambra State Police Command has reacted to allegations of extortion involving some of its personnel at the Onitsha Headbridge, insisting that any act of misconduct by an individual police officer does not represent the policy, directives or operational principles of the Command.
The Command's reaction followed a write-up circulating on social media alleging that some senior police officers benefit from extortion allegedly perpetrated by personnel operating around the Onitsha Bridge Head area.
In a statement made available to journalists on Saturday, the Police Public Relations Officer of the Command, SP Tochukwu Ikenga, said the Command had taken note of the allegations and reaffirmed its commitment to professional, lawful and accountable policing.
According to Ikenga, the Command does not condone extortion, corruption or any form of unethical conduct, stressing that the integrity of the policing profession requires officers to carry out their duties with professionalism and respect for the law.
He explained that the conduct of every police officer ultimately reflects the individual's personal character and commitment to the ethics of the profession, adding that any officer found to have engaged in unprofessional conduct or extortion would be held personally responsible for such actions.
The PPRO further maintained that the conduct of an individual officer should not be interpreted as a directive or policy of the Command or its leadership.
Ikenga said the Command had consistently maintained a zero-tolerance stance against corruption, extortion and other forms of misconduct, assuring that credible complaints would be investigated and officers found culpable would face appropriate disciplinary measures in accordance with the laws and regulations governing the Nigeria Police Force.
He, however, urged members of the public with specific information on alleged misconduct by police personnel to come forward with verifiable details that could assist the Command in identifying and investigating the officers involved.
Such information, he said, should include the date, time and location of the alleged incident, vehicle registration number and, where available, the identity of the patrol team involved.
The Command provided its Control Room number as 07039194332, while members of the public can also contact the PPRO on 08039334002 or the Complaint Response Unit (CRU) on 08069262121 to report such cases.
The Police Command, according to the PPRO, remains committed to transparent, accountable and people-oriented policing, while appreciating the cooperation and constructive feedback of residents in strengthening public trust and improving police service delivery across Anambra State. Words. As usual. They respond with words, do absolutely nothing, and hope Nigeria forgets, until the next episode. How many of us are still thinking of the illegal goon squad who extorted the Chairman of the INDEPENDENT CORRUPT PRACTISES COMMISSION (ICPC)? I'm sure a lot of us have already forgotten. I heard they've even sued their victim for hiding his identity from them! What a Country! |

If there is tribalism in the SW (and there is), it's the least in Nigeria. It's also mostly a reaction to the tribalism expressed by other tribes. Even so, we accommodate other tribes more than any other. |

solomondiamond: The Super Falcons have unveiled a new jersey adorned with 10 stars around the team badge as they prepare to defend their title at the 2026 Women's Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco. The redesigned kit was revealed on Thursday, with each of the 10 stars representing one of Nigeria's Women's Africa Cup of Nations triumphs. The addition celebrates the team's dominance on the continent, having won the tournament more times than any other African nation. Nigeria debuted the commemorative jersey in a 2-1 international friendly victory over Tanzania's Twiga Stars on Thursday. The win provided a confidence boost for the squad ahead of the continental championship. The new design reflects the Super Falcons' rich history and sustained success in African women's football. The stars surrounding the national badge serve as a reminder of the team's legacy and its ambition to add another title to its collection.
Under head coach Justin Madugu, the Super Falcons are targeting an unprecedented 11th WAFCON title. The tournament begins on Saturday in Morocco, with Nigeria set to open its title defence against first-time participants Malawi
The Group stage encounter will take place on Tuesday at the Al Madina Stadium in Rabat. A victory would give the nine-time champions a strong start in their quest to retain the continental crown and further strengthen their record as Africa's most successful women's national team.
The unveiling of the special jersey has generated excitement among fans, who see it as a fitting tribute to the team's remarkable achievements over the years. The Super Falcons will now hope the symbolic kit inspires another successful campaign as they pursue more history on the African stage. That No. 24 should be investigated, on account of looking like a man........ looking like a hunter from Taraba State, to be more precise. |
