Politics › Re: PDP Wants Fashola Impeached Over Tolls On Roads by Jeezyy(m): 10:16pm On Jun 03, 2013 |
anonimi: I would rather have EVOLUTION that is the R is removed from the revolution. That is what is going on and has been going on in Nigeria for the past 14 years, We need to get more involved beyond simply queue and vote. We need to hold ALL our leaders accountable.
BTW, revolutions usually replace one set of bare-faced rogues with more cunning, propaganda fuelled "comrades". You can compare Britain and France where the former evolved while the latter had a revolution. Social mobility in Britain is much better than France. Egypt revolution is another recent example of unintended consequencies of revolutions.
Let's get more involved and stay more engaged in our democratic process for optimu dividends. the type of polity and structure we have in Nigeria can never allow for an evolution, that's why we need to revolt before evolving |
Politics › Re: PDP Wants Fashola Impeached Over Tolls On Roads by Jeezyy(m): 10:08am On Jun 03, 2013 |
anonimi: So what can we (you & I) all 160m or so of us Nigerian citizens do about the situation that we CLAIM to detest so much the only solution is REVOLUTION.we should forget tribalism n self-centrednes and fight for what is ourz just like what the Arab nations did. What our politicians do now is to groom their children to take over from them when they are tired of active participation, as if Nigeria is hereditary. May God help us! |

anonimi: Life is about PROBABILITIES. If the next governor knows why his/her predecessor was impeached what is the LIKELIHOOD that he will do the same mistake
a) 0% b) 25% c) 50% d) 100%
Hope you get the gist or I should break it down further for you? the fact is, they keep on recycling themselve in our politics. The next person will probably be installed by a selected few or by godfatherz of which he/she will be working for or else face impeachement too and so will be distracted or caged from doing any meaningful thing |
