Family law is structurally sound in Nigeria. It is about the best interest of the child so a mother owns the child until the child is aged 7 because of their tender age.
After clocking age 7, there is a Court hearing where the child is asked whom he/she wants to live with. Shikena.
This aspect of law works well so it was on the back of this that immigration department stipulated that passport application for a child needs to include bio data of Dad's passport, written consent letter from Dad, etc. So men would not be totally frozen out.
I see you mentioned Liya. You might run rings round the Court trying to avoid paying Mum child support, but Liya is a British Citizen so Interpol has the right to arrest her Dad anywhere in Nigeria and have him handcuffed and carted off to Police cell for evading child support payment. And he would only be released once he has paid every single dime owed since the day she was born.

Have you tried collecting Nigerian passport for your kids? they insist on the father's passport ID and signature and they tell you the mother is irrelevant.i think Nigerian laws favors fathers more than mothers

I just started a transport/ logistics business and everyday many of my trucks ply the mile two route on badagry express way to say it is frustrating will be an understatement .Everyday I give at least 15 thousand naira to these unmasked daylight robbers aka LASTMA, VIO, FRSC, LOCAL Government COUNCIL,police, .today simply because I refused to tip a VIO officer and I called him a theif he gave me a ticket of 25000 niara for broken wiper(which by the way was not broken)and Verbal abuse and impounded my truck which was fully loaded with goods. Can someone please help me beg fashola to call his boys to order because I do pay my tax .

It sounds like there was contamination in the manufacturing process (possibly addition of yeast) and fermentation is going on in the bottles leading to alcohol production and CO2 thus the exploding bottles.

i don't think it sounds especially dangerous drink wise (though maybe your kids will have a headache) (i'm NO expert but I know a bit of the process of brewing beer and malt beverages are just non-alcoholic beer) but I do think that you should contact the Malta Guinness office and complain to an Oga there(yes i know as per Naija but if people keep 'leaving it to God' nothing will happen). exploding bottles are VERY dangerous and they should be accountable of product safety

Thanks my dear but my management is aware of the deal and i cat let go of it that easily and i cant simply tell my boss that i have to drop the account becos my client tells me i have nice legs and i should wear short skirts always etc etc. Are you saying you let go of every deal that the client comes on to you or makes a pass at you.

Hi all

I am currently working on a major deal with a new client and and recently my client's attitude towards me has been less than professional, for one
i have to meet him for lunch or dinner for meetings and when he send text messages to me he refers to me as honey /sweetheart.The most annoying is that recently he gave me a hug right in front of my female colleague However he hasn't come one to me directly or asked me out directly i really do need advise on how to tell him in a subtle manner to back off without offending him i really need to close the deal.

PS Did i mention that i recently got married and he is aware

i was at starcomms office bode thomas recently and d customer care agent was on the phone with her friend talking about god knows what and when she finally dropped i asked why she was wasting my time she told me i had the option of moving to other customer care agents!!!! i was so maaaad
