You are a Father sleeping with your daughter's age mate and carrying her about in front of your car openly in town, in the name of "is a Man's world" and if you happen to see a another Man talking your daughter,you will bring down fire and brimstone, check yourself! you are in the office and money is given to you to share among your colleagues,because nobody is seeing you,you decided to play a fast one on your colleagues by taking it all and tomorrow the same you will condemn the Govt,check yourself..
You are contesting for the office of the a National youth president,when you are already in your late fifty(50) because of the economic/political gain, check yourself! When you were a young girl you controlled people husbands and today the law of Karma is at your door step and you are clamoring for help,check yourself! Today ACN is asking Okube of PDP to resign from office because of fraud,when people like Gbajabiamila is still in the National Assembly walking talk and free,even when we know why he was banned from practicing law in America,,naija selfish politicians check yourselves! Even to contest and win student union government(SUG) president in our universities then you had have a political God-father who sponsored you and manipulated the election in your favor against a more credible candidate and today the same you want free and fair election,,how were you elected as SUG president in your days in school?? check yourself,, You can't openly condemn the killing of innocent people by a group of well known Terrorists in our nation,but you can openly talk about Govt and Election 2015,,which is more important to you,,politic or lives of Nigerian check yourself!! you were in Govt since in the late seventy(70) you used to called us the leaders of tomorrow but today in twenty-first century you are still fighting for political offices,who are the leaders of tomorrow
Nigerian there can never be change with the level of insincerity in us and moral decadence that has eaten so much into our system,,those in Govt are nothing but the product of the Society that me and you are part and parcel of........So whether PDP,CPC,APGA or ACN,Nigerian will still complain,the change we are looking for won't come from nonconstructive criticism or the usual exchange of verbal missiles usually experience in NL,but from sincere actions.....

Since they are not PDP members(Gbajabiamila and the Lagos State speaker) their fraudulent acts is acceptable.Is only PDP members that are corrupt,but we have suddenly forgotten that George Akume a former PDP member(now ACN) ran to Senate inorder to prevent EFCC from knocking on his door to come and give account of his stewardship as the Governor of benue state..... Please let put party interest behind us and do the right thing,,,before ACN should ask PDP members to vacate office as a result of fraudulent act(s),ACN should first get rid of all the thieves in it camp,most of them that ran from PDP to ACN simply because they could not achieve their aim in PDP,in the likes of Dino Melaye and the rest and PDP should also make her ways straight........Enough of all these tricks by self-centered/inconsistent politicians whether in PDP or in opposition without any ideology than to amass wealth/riches to themselves through public offices,,haba!!!!!!!!

Nice post,very lovely n sweet but am laughing over the dressing,arguing and driving aspect with me fiances,cuz dressing aspect am now a fashion designer,i must recommend the combination b4 she decide,u can imagine the time we usually spent on that ,,,arguing aspect,i let her have her way on some issues,so i can have my peace,or else na the whole day be that and driving matter always result in malice so am always very careful.but aside that she's the best thing in me life that's why i can't wait oh.......

Don't know about Efcc,but for the SSS the little I know about them is that,the SSS is a proactive intelligence agency who basic duties is dealing with state crimes(crimes against the nation) and should be comapared in all ramification with other intelligence agencies.like DIA and NIA,not with the POLICE who main is dealing with civil crimes,like snatching of handsets,burglary and so on.police should be comparing it self with FRSC and the rest in their commission na.

In recent times Dino Melaye have divided opinion, as well as perception, among users of Twitter, the social media platform that is fast becoming the favorite place where Nigerians vent their frustrations against the clueless President Goodluck Jonathan. While some consider him an icon of change especially in the new Nigeria, many are not so impressed with this so-called "transformed" Melaye. He is still perceived as no different from politicians who have fallen out of favour and lost out of the power equation in the corrupt People's Democratic Party-led government and have suddenly taken on "the opposition" mantra to salvage what is left of his dying political relevance. Melaye's perceptions on Twitter are clearly depicted by a mosaic of praise and insult by users at the slightest opportunity.


Besides this mixed opinions begs the question; what/who does Dino Melaye truly represents? The profile on his twitter handle @ Dino_Melaye will have us believe he's an Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN, Chieftain, former member of the House of Representatives and a
human rights activist. While I may not dispute the first two items, the human right activist claim is one I strongly doubt and seek answers to. Melaye is not even an activist, let alone a human right activist.
An activist as I understand is one who practices activism with an aim to change the way society functions with regard to specific social issues. Activism as described by Wikipedia is the intentional efforts to bring about social, political, economic, or environmental change. Intentional efforts here could include protests and rallies against particular social issues, boycotts, writing letters, to mention a few.

However, this does not constitute the whole concept of activism but an aspect. "True activism starts much closer to home; It starts when you decide to live a self-reliant life," according to Gary Levy. "It starts when you decide that you will depend on nobody but yourself for your personal safety and survival. And it continues as you begin to pare down the excess in order to live minimally; learning to embrace life for the bounty at hand versus the covetous bounty of your neighbor.”
Looking at all the above, does Dino Melaye qualify to be an activist? Let's assume he does, I bet it doesn't automatically make a human rights activist.

For those who don't know, human right activists are simply people who expose the violations of the rights of others and campaign for redress. Such rights may include those of specific groups like children, religious or racial groups. Human rights activist on their own or with others take action to "ensure the promotion and protection of the human rights of all." What matters is not who they are but what they do. Human rights defenders take peaceful action and believe in equal rights for all. Can any of these be attributed to Melaye? Your answers are as good as mine. Dino Melaye is a man who I know was very vocal during his time in the House. But this is nothing to be proud of after all as a member of the National Assembly, you are simply paid lots of money to talk, 95 percent of which is total crap.

Melaya was very popular for his role as the self-styled leader of the Progressive members of the House. While defending Patricia Etteh, the ex-Speaker of the House, who was rightly exposed for trying to award herself contracts for renovations that were not needed, he fought, literally fought, to expose her successor, Dimeji Bankole, in a N9 billion corruption scandal that earned him a suspension and, most fatally, political enemies that will see to his downfall. To the average Nigerian, Melaye did well by standing up against the corrupt House leader but the underlying truth remains glaring. He only sounded the anti-corruption alarm after been schemed out of the usual loot sharing.

Melaye failed to secure a return to the House after his bid was truncated by powerful enemies inside the PDP, forcing his exit to the All Nigerian Peoples Party where he lost his re-election to the PDP candidate. Off he went again to the ACN, where he now claims to be a chieftain.

The concern here is not what Melaye did with his political career but what he is trying to do in his "new career" as the human rights activist he claims to be. In January, he jumped on the anti-fuel subsidy protest and now he has being on Twitter waging an anti-corruption campaign against the government. But the question is would he have done all these if he were to be a member of the House and in the good books of the PDP hierarchy? Does being an anti-corruption critic on Twitter or marching against the fuel subsidy removal qualify him as a human rights activist? After all Boko Haram too "helped" the protests. The militant sect didn't fire a single shot, or even a blast, but that doesn't rank them among activists either. Taking to activism seem to be the favorite past time of Nigerian politicians after losing out in the political arena and no longer benefit from the largesse of corruption they enjoyed while they held sway in government.

What are the human rights activities Dino Melaye engaged in as an individual? What meaningful bill did he propose or sponsor to address social injustice on Nigerians as a member of the House? Melaye fought tooth and nail to get reinstated back to the House after his suspension. At one of his unscheduled appearance in the Chambers after his suspension, he was quoted to have said he came to physically engage Speaker Bankole in a fight to ensure he returns to the House. Did he employ any of these when the salaries of teachers were not paid due to industrial actions? Did he raise an eyebrow during the impasse that greeted the implementation of the minimum wage as against the millions he pocketed in allowances and estacodes? These are all issues a human rights activist is supposed to agitate for.

These are all clear and verifiable points I have raised here. But in the case I am wrong or proved wrong, I ask this question: Is Dino Melaye a Human Rights Activist?

Well,dear am a man and i know what our barbaric traditions has turn men into,in the case of Moral value if there's any is just about 7 percent in this our society.But i want you to know that in the mist of this moral decadence there are still few real and good Men,who honestly understand the meaning of that vow they took in the present of the Most High when they said i do on their wedding day,and one other vital thing to know is that Church has nothing to do with Individual attitude,after all, most of our corrupt politicians sit in front in our different churches.
So most of us go to church not because we have the fear of GOD in us but because we want the society not to label us as unbelievers,will advice you to sincerely keep praying to GOD for a change and try to ask yourself some questions concerning your attitude toward him that makes him not to be interested in what is called FAITHFULNESS toward his Matrimonial home and also try to engage in certain things you know can capture his attention toward you and the kids.But if after all these steps taken there's no change and your convince in your heart that your situation is far from hope,then ma sister run for your life oh,cause being alive from a broken marriage is far better than being a dead wife......

So Mr Anthony who happens to be secretary to ACF announcing a statement like this is inconsequential. Anthony is a Christain name and by default will be ready to denounce Boko Haram even if he was not in ACF.

The Hausa-Fulani Northerners are still playing politics with this issue and it is unfortunate.

When Buhari wants to comment on BokoHaram he gets Yinka Odumakin to make the statement, when ACF wants to comment on BokoHaram they get Mr Anthony to make the statement. A clear pattern is emerging here in my view and it is a very very shameful one!!!!!!
