With regard to the last broadcast made by Abubakar Shekau the leader of boko haram claiming that the military spoke person is giving faults information about the number of casualty from both side concerning their last encounter when the insurgents tried to take over the military barrack and the Statement made by the spoke person of the SSS on channelstv, claiming that boko haram is losing the war,,,Nairalanders, who do u honestly think is having upper hands in this war. Government or Boko haram ![]() |
She is not far from the truth sha cuz we all sit back and put d blame on security agencies while neglecting our duty too in assisting them with information, but that shouldn't make our security agencies to depend totally on the public ooh in during their job... |
this is hilarious............. |
As far as am concern the problem and solution lies with the politicians(Leaders) especially from the north, that created them, even if the security agencies all goes out on full military conventional war this insurgent and the politicians are not ready to bring to an end this war na lie, it won't work except na God.I have said my Mind gbam! all i need now is a full dose of burastachi cuz amina is coming 2night 4 a Match @ stamford bridge. |
It shows what/who kind of person he's and the whole essence of the so called good governance campaign is all about,it so obvious the Man doesnt care about nigerians but power. |
We are all aware of the fact that the FG has given the terrorist groups room for dialogue but of which they refused. Meanwhile, some notable Nigerians are soliciting for amnesty for the groups, but the question we should ask ourself is AMNESTY for what? Is it for killings of innocent Nigerians or for obstructing the peace that has taken years TÕ̸̳͡ build in the country? One thing that Nigerians should know is that, Nigeria is a God's own country and HE will not allow it TÕ̸̳͡ destroy. I know many are living with the grieve of what just happened in Kano...irrespective of that Nigeria still remains the best country TÕ̸̳͡ live and we shall remain UNITED...say I believe TÕ̸̳͡ this. Just say I believe!!! |
that's it a country that will never see anytin good in us aside from what they r getting from our country,America should address the issue of racism to the minimum ,Gun-running,Serial killing as well as that of Weapon of mass destruction before deciding on Nigeria's issue. |
The presidential State pardon to some convicted Nigerians which have been greeted with so much public outcry, say well about a growing democracy that is trying to stabilizes like ours, but my concern is the respond from the British authority and the the threat of Sanction by American Govt.without wasting much time, let me just put a few facts clear here on why the American and British govt no matter their selfish interest in Nigeria should first and foremost, consider certain events of the past before interfering in Nigeria issues. The British Authority should explain to Nigerians how DSP ALAM escaped(jump bail) from Briton back to Nigeria with all their sophisticated technological gadgets, well experience and professional country yard police and effective border security officials,if they had no hands in the escaped why didn't the British Authority raise an alarm over the escaped until Alam landed in Nigeria? they should always tell us the passport he used in his int'l document that made it so easy for him to pass through the airport easily, only then can the British authority clear me doubt about their involvement in Alam absconding from UK. As for the American Govt Which country in the World threaten them wit sanction, when former President Clinton granted state pardon to his drug addict/smuggler sibling or when their Govt deceived the World about Weapons of mass destruction in Iraq just for them to go in and overthrown the Govt and started managing their resources? |

Wickedness in high places,,all we need is the total overhauling of the system n do away with theses good for nothing vampires call police haba! everyday one issue on the media or the other against the police,,this is just the high of unprofessional ism... |
How do you rate a Man who speak with two different tongues on same issue, like the statement he made about Gen Buhari(Rtd),He also said in his book that aside from him n his brother no other person has brain to address Nigerian problem n can't stand by his words. So dissapointed with his responses on AIT focus nigeria 2day..I expect Him to be bold and stick to his word to prove himself .. |
My guy u better ask God 4 4giveness and a change of mind, meanwhile i don't knw y it is so difficult 4 cheat 2 enjoy the taste of their medicine.. u better make up with ur wife and put ur family back in good shape b4 it 2 late. |
As far as am concern what's happening now is what i refers to as "What goes around comes around" cuz i can remember when BH started unleashing attack on Churches/Christians in the north, their leaders were silence over it not knowing that it will soon come to their door step too,so they better go back home and look inward n model out measures that will bring lasting peace to their land rather than sit idle and put the blame solely on Fed.Govt for a Monster that was created beneath their nose and they did nothing to stop it. |
What has PDP got to do with this, are those spanish Fornicators PDP members? haba! let come up with sumtin real n constructive rather than coming out to show Nairalanders one of the immoral pictures u have in ur phone.. |
With regard to the recent public outcry that has greeted the State pardon granted to some convicted Nigerians and the call for Amnesty for Boko Haram, Many commentators have continued to ask, which is more tolerable? Amnesty for Murder or State Pardon for Corruption. |

what goes around come around they say,the monster call boko haram whose Originator according to President GEJ was a friend to the former governor of Borno state buh the friendship is now generating serious issue for all. but sincerely speaking looking at the statements/actions from both Government and the Northern leaders(politicians) with regard to AMNESTY for boko haram, one can comfortable deduce that the idea of Boko haram has political undertone with alot of insincerity, sometime ago the president was quoted in His speech of saying that boko haram have infiltrated his administration that he knows them, he later contradicted himself at the town hall meeting in Borno when He said that boko haram is a ghost organisation so he can negotiate with the faceless group. Many northern leaders has accused the president of being Double standard in his statement which have generated so much verbal and counter verbal missile among those in support and those against the statement. Now looking at the position of the Northern leaders/politicians who were initially silence when the sect started their manifestation against the Christian/ churches without knowing that "what goes around, will definitely comes around" until went the sect started visiting the mosgue/moslim faithfuls/leaders with their activities reigning terror on them also and even some disgruntled n criminal element taking advantage of the situation to achieve their aim, now they are screaming calling on the Government to dialogue with the arm militia. but the astonishing aspect of it is the wrong perception of the Amnesty programme it self, the northern leaders who are suppose to clamour for peace,I mean lasting peace are busy looking at the benefit of Amnesty in the Niger Delta region instead of talking about lasting peace after the dialogue. is just funny considering the fact that president GEJ himself said that the Amnesty programme was mismanaged, instead of Nigerians to look at ways of bringing lasting peace to the region they are looking fro an avenue to make money.after all how are sure the politicians and leaders won't mismanage and the region will still be plague with the same issue? the problem is insincerity in the minds of our politicians/Government who make laws and the leaders who are scared because the group is now an enemy of all. |
what goes around come around they say,the monster call boko haram whose Originator according to President GEJ was a friend to the former governor of borno state ali sherif is now becoming a pain in the ass for all. but sincerely speaking looking at the statements/actions from both Government and the Northern leaders(politicians) with regard to AMNESTY for boko haram, one can comfortable deduce that the idea of Boko haram has political undertone, sometime ago the president was quoted in His speech of saying that boko haram have infiltrated his administration that he knows them, this statement contradicted his statement at the town hall meeting in Borno when He said that boko haram is a ghost organisation so he can negotiate with the faceless group. The borno state Governor during president jonathan Visit and Town Hall meeting in his speech said that the Government was going to unmask the "Ghost"(according to GEJ) called boko haram who has been unleashing terror in the northern part of the country,,he said categorically, that unmasking the Boko haram is the responsibility of the Government which he is part and parcel of, up til now we are still waiting for him to tell us which tier of Government is responsible for the Statement he made, whether is the Federal, state or local govt that is responsible. Cause he is the chief executive/security officer of the State,he is in-charge of security vote given to the state by the Federal Government as a result of the persistent crisis, and owing to the fact that he just hosted a faction of the sect last February which let to the declaration of cease-fire. He should lead by example and start the unmasking process cause we are tired of the politicization of this crisis just to make money,,these politicians can't fool us again, they are aware of whatever is happening and now want they want to push the blame on each other when we all know that politic plays a major role in bringing this crisis to an end,i appeal to the Governor kashim Shettima to tell us what he has been doing with the security vote he has been collecting from the central Govt and his effort so far... |
That's what I called talking 2 much n actions, disagreement over name n logo has shown that d former APC now ADC will still have problem ahead 4 real becuz of conflict of interest. |
Wonder shall never end in this country oh |
We need overhauling of the system called NPF cuz their case is worst what I call failure don't just understand this crop of pple again oh.. |
I pledge to Nigeria my country to be faithful loyal and honest,to serve Nigeria with all my strength,,,to also uphold her HONOUR and GLORY,so help me God.But it appears Nigerians have forgotten the above statement dues to ethnic, political and religious background and we have allow the Enemies(Corruption,Religious intolerance,Ethnic sentiment, insurgency, kidnapping and so on)of our beloved country to militate seriously against the unity and development of our country. We no longer live in a country were a northerner can go to the east and establish himself and settle, where a southerner from the west can go to the North eastern part of the country and live without fear of one form of crises or the other, remember that there cannot be any Unity, development of any kind if we don't give peace a chance live as one. Just like Our Pres.GEJ has annouces to the people of borno earlier today that there can not be any investment/developemnt amidst Crises, Gov Isa Yuguda of Bauchi state has also reinterated the fact that Development of any kind can not flourish amidst insecurity(Crises) when he was responding to Questions from journalists in yola. This a wake up call to Nigerians from all works of life to rise up and support the Authority in it effort to achieve the desire dreams of our fore fathers,I appeal to all Nigeria irrespective of our differencies to give peace a chance and fight the enemies of Nigeria for the sake of our future generation. Let join hands and build our beloved country, Let fight the enemies of our beloved country, Let help the Government build Nigeria and restore our Honour and Glory, Let us not destroyed the Dreams of our forefathers, Nigeria must survive, Nigeria must be great, Long live Nigeria!!! |
This has spoken for itself nau,Expect Nigerian now to apply their sense in judging this issue and see who's making a fool out of Nigeria and i also expect the police to bring out their fact if they r really serious about this cuz it not abt who has the power to investigate or not,But who has been showing working that matter, cuz looking at Kabiru sokoto case and few other then u will begin to imagine if the police actually knows what they r doing... |
The fight lies in the hands of the Northern Leader as well so is time for them to rise up and let hands be on deck for the Government to achieve success |
Thank Mr President for showing the people that your administration care about the people of the State even with the inimical security situation, Pres.GEJ has proven himself worthy as a leader. |
yes oooh, that's a good step n assurance to the people of the region that His Administration care about the people of Yobe,May Allah in his infinite power continue to strengthen and guide him. |
Nigeria opposition has been one of the most unpatriotic set of people i have ever seen with what we have in other countries, they don't have the interest of the Nation at heart, they haven't contributed to the success of the country aside from themselves and family. All we hear on the media is criticism from the beginning of one administration to the end, doing everything in their power to undermine the effort of the Authority either for ethnic, religious or selfish reason(s) that is so unrelated to the desire of the people. Majority of them are richer than everybody in their local government area put together, they unstable political history that can comfortable be link to the ruling party which they are condemning and doing everything in their ability to undermine .Now let briefly look at very few of them:Gov. Rocha Okorocha, the man with more than two political parties, does it look like someone with ideology that will affect the demand of the masses positively or someone looking an easy playing ground to achieve his selfish purpose? We also look at our Good governance apostle Dino melaye,a man who shamelessly indulge in infidelity that made headlines in our different papers, with so much wealth we don't know the source if not looting, does he look like the messiah? our own Mallam Nasir El-rufai who was made a Minister under the same party he's attacking today with tooth n nails, his story on how he abused the office is at the disposal of every abuja inhabitants and the nation at large, Even Gen Buhari the Man who just recently went to United Kingdom and made a fool out of himself, what has been his contributions aside from utterances that only raise tension and eventually lead to lost of lifes(like those innocent corpers). Statistic has shown that ninety percent of members of opposition parties now under the umbrella of All Progressive Congress (APC)are all walking around with the ruling Party's(PDP) blood n wealth in them, my Question is when they were busy acquiring those wealth, was there no atom of conscience in them? simply because they have been shown the way out because of their insincerity and abuse of opportunity for their selfish purpose, they are all apostle of Good governance.Charity begin with whosoever is preaching it,my advice is for them to sell all those ill gotten wealth and use the money to development their community then only will i look at them with seriousness, cause as far as am concern their struggle is all about Power not for the interest of Nigerians. |
The presidency has challenged PDP governors to produce any document signed by president Goodluck Jonathan limiting him to a one term presidency. Ahmed Gulak, the Senior Special Adviser to the President on Political Affairs spoke on an African Independent Television (AIT) programme yesterday maintaining that the president can not be intimidated away from contesting the elections. Niger state governor, Babangida Aliyu had on Saturday, on a Liberty FM radio programme, said President Goodluck Jonathan signed an agreement with PDP governors not to seek re-election in 2015. Gulak, however, insisted this is not true. He said Aliyu’s staement was borned out of his ambition to contest for the same position in the next general elections. Gulak said, “I’m telling you without any iota of doubt and with all sense of responsibility that there has never been any agreement or pact signed by the President that he is going to run for only one term. He has never told me about it and I have never heard about it. The governors said they have the agreement, let them bring it. I know as of fact that there is no such agreement.” “We are all Nigerians and if you want to pursue your own ambition, like I have always said, you have the right. You have the right to pursue your ambition to be the President of Nigeria. But you don’t have to concoct stories to justify your ambition. “President Jonathan never signed such a pact, but only gave Nigerians the general guarantee of one-man, one-vote and that no one has the political strength to intimidate the President to run away from his constitutional right of contesting the next elections, should he decide to do so.” http://www.ynaija.com/jonathan-never-signed-one-term-agreement-presidency/ |
These guys r heartless and mean when u move around the north n see d level of poverty,u will ask urself wat were like ibb, shagari,Gowon and the rest of the oil block mongers have been doing all these yrs in power than sharing oil block among themselves and their family at the detriment of the north n the nation at large. |
enator has said. The senator insinuated that many of the oil blocs allocated in the past were done to favour persons from Northern Nigeria, many of whom have now become richer than their states and geo-political zones. Oil blocs are awarded at the discretion of the president through the Petroleum Minister largely without any transparent process. Many past public officials, particularly those that served during the military era are today proud owners of oil blocs, with some of them selling the blocks for billions of dollars. Ita Enang, the Chairman, Senate Committee on Rules and Business, on Wednesday in Abuja, advocated equitable distribution of oil bloc licences in the country. Mr. Enang made the call during the debate on the Petroleum Industry Bill, PIB on the floor of the Senate. He was reacting to the Northern Senators’ stance that the oil producing areas receive too much money from the Federation Accounts. He said the oil blocs should be revoked and re-awarded to ensure that the federal character principle was applied in distribution of oil blocs, marginal fields and prospecting licences. The rich oil bloc owners Mr. Enang, who spoke with journalists after the plenary, alleged that most of the owners of the oil blocs were richer than their geo-political zone. “Some people who own oil blocs in the North East are richer than their States. At least one person is richer than the entire six or seven states of the North East. “Now it is still said that the Niger Delta is taking too much when one person is taking from the profit he makes from each of the oil blocs more than what even the derivation that the totality of the states are taking. “Most of these oil blocs were awarded long ago. Most of the owners are so rich that the country becomes the poorer for it. “We should revoke all the oil blocs, re-allocate them either through this bill (PIB) or an Act of the Executive. This is the wealth of the nation. He accused most of the wealthy operators in the oil sector as being responsible for the theft of oil and illegal bunkering in the Niger Delta. Mr. Enang said: “we talk about people stealing oil. Oil is not stolen with teacup. “It is stolen with ships and it is these big persons who have these facilities that are capable of facilitating it, not the ordinary persons branded militants,” he explained. The Senator advised his colleagues to carry out thorough review of the inconsistencies in the PIB to ensure its prompt passage. The northern senators’ stance The Northern Senators, while supporting the general principles of the PIB, insisted that certain aspects of the bill had to be amended. They demanded a review of the 10 per cent meant for host community fund and called for the independence of the National Frontiers Exploration Agency with specific source of funding. The senators also noted that the powers vested in the Minister of Petroleum Resources were excessive, saying “it is capable of undermining transparency and accountability in the oil sector.” They stressed the need for such powers to be whittled down before the passage of the PIB. The debates on the PIB, which started on Tuesday at the floor of the Senate, is scheduled to continue on Thursday. http:///bOT3sr3CWS |
