On what basis is their sins forgiven? What was the promised God made for the nation of Israel based in the prophecy of Jeremiah?

Forgiveness of sins, God's law written in the heart, etc are all part of this new covenant. This was God promise and his prophecies.

Interesting (and I know why!) throughout your discussion of this new covenant, you are carefully avoided all the scriptures that directly mention it.

The fulfillment of the new covenant prophecy was when Jesus shared the loaf and wine. He specifically said concerning it in Mt 26:27,28.
