Matthew 24:37-51 (KJV)

But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,
And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.
But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.
Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.
Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?

Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.
Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods.
But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming;
And shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken;
The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of,
And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

The best part though is that it's possible to escape that day called the great tribulation, hence the following warning of Jesus:

Luke 21:34-36 (KJV)

"And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.
For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.
Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man."

Therefore if any believer wants to escape that day, he must take heed and watch and pray always so that day doesn't come upon him unawares.

It's only those believers who are prepared for that day and do not become distracted by the things and cares of this world, that would be able to escape these things.

God bless.

Going by the signs, that day is almost here, so all those who think their riches would save them in the day of wrath should think again, because on that day there would be no difference between the rich and poor.

They would both need the mark to be able to buy anything.

Same goes for the male and female, slave and master, black and white, young and old, for there will be no discrimination with regards the mark of the beast, as anyone without the mark wouldn't be able to buy or sell anything.

That's already bad and scary enough but not even the worst, as all those who refuse to take the mark of the beast would be beheaded for taking the mark.

Revelation 20:4 (KJV)

And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

However there's also the good part though for anyone who refuse to take the mark and would be able to endure that during the tribulation period, as they would thereby secure their souls forever and reign with Christ in His kingdom when He returns.

God bless.

666: A Day Is Coming When Money Alone Won't Be Able To Buy You Food

Yes, a day is coming when you would need to have a mark on your forehead or right hands to be able to buy and sell anything, including food.

Revelation 13:16-18 (KJV)

And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.

It is called the mark or number of the beast, 666.

God bless.

LordReed:

Of course you must keep spreading your fake stories.
Thanks for proving me right that you will still hold fast to your hypocrisy, despite the Op proving your assertion on my thread wrong, hence it would have been a waste of time mentioning you.

The bolded below was the basis you provided for calling it a fake story:

LordReed:
The story is fake, someone is dying of lack of breath so how does he give a speech when he is focused on trying to take a breath?

This bolded below was what the atheist himself claimed he said at the critical moment when he was dying of lack of breath:

Drjones109:
The critical moment
At the hospital, Hernandez's breathing ceased, and the medical staff fought desperately to save his life.
In that critical moment, he found himself contemplating God, making a promise, "If you get me through this, I'll change."
If he didn't make it alive, and I added his last words to the list, you will still call it a fake story, abi?

Or you will still ask me for evidence since I wasn't there myself?

Try and calm down a bit and observe carefully how the former atheist proved your words @ bolded above to be ignorant, but i wouldn't be surprised if you even doubt his story and call it fake too, despite the fact he narrated it himself, not me. Anything that seems to go against your anti-religious sentiments must be fake.

Damn sure you wouldn't have come after me calling my story fake, if It said instead their last words were "atheism til death".

Last year the devil came in the form of an idea to make me to split my daily prayer into two parts, so I would pray one part each day instead (about 2 hours on the average), because it seemed too time consuming, and I foolishly gree for the devil.

This gave the devil access to do what the devil only knows how to do best, which is steal, kill and destroy.

Though it seemed to make sense initially because my online preaching wasn't affected, but seemed to be progressing in terms of reach and results.

I was reaching more lost souls than ever with the Gospel of Christ, and more were still coming and saying they wanted to give their lives to Christ as a result.

However on the flip side, the spiritual attacks also appeared to reach a whole new level.

Thing that I have never experienced before in my body, I began to experience them, especially a chronic stomach trouble that seemed to have no remedy, and this began after I was forced to eat something strange in the dream which was the first time such had ever happened to me.

Then it appeared as if the spirit of death was unleashed, as by the time I would realize what was happening, at least six people I knew either directly or indirectly, including close relatives, friends and neighbors, had lost their lives in a short space of time, which was also a new one for me as I can't think of any other period in my life such has happened.

Even my blood sister was seriously attacked and afflicted and would have also been death list, had it not been that Jesus intervened and brought her back to life.

Things were just mounting up, I cried unto God and asked what was happening, because they were just too much to be a coincidence.

I had even fasted on several occasions during that period, and although I was yet seeing the glaring results reflect in my online ministry, that still didn't seem to be enough.

It was only after i started praying fully as I used to before I split my prayer into two parts, that everything began to fall back into place.

Even the storm in my stomach which had seriously troubled me for several months, now calmed down.

So towards the end of last year, I was able to recover fully.

It was then it dawned on me that it's because I had stopped praying as I ought, that made the effect of spiritual attacks to be so much felt, because the spiritual attacks have always been there, but the prayers have been nullifying their effect.

So I learnt the hard way how important my daily prayers was. A lot of lives depend on it because I only spoke of the ones I knew about, how much more those I don't?

Hence i decided that not just this year, but never again will I agree to any idea that would make me not pray as I ought to.

Even if I am not able to pray any day, I would carry over the remaining prayer to the next day and add it to the full prayer for the day.

I no go ever gree for the devil again in my prayer life.

So help me God!

2024: This Year No Gree For Any Devil!

"Devil" here signifies the devil himself or any person or thing that would want you to do things that will make you vulnerable to his devices, which were fashioned to steal, kill and destroy your life.

They are all devils!

The only difference is that one is direct while the others are indirect but they all represent the devil.

That's why the serpent in the beginning is called by the devil's name even though it wasn't the devil himself, but only served as a tool of the devil to carry out his destructive plans against man.

So this year no gree for any devil that comes to you in any form or guise.

Whether he comes in the guise of man telling you he will marry you but wants to first test drive the car before he pays the (bride) price for it, no gree for any devil!

Or if he comes to you in the form of a scantily clad lady, tempting you to have a taste of the forbidden fruit, no gree for any devil!

Even if he comes as a married man or woman claiming to truly love you, and offers you riches to have sex with you, no gree for any devil!

Or whether he comes as an idea tempting you to take the money or property belonging to someone else, singing "maga don pay shout hallelujah", no gree for any devil!

He could also come in the form of sleep at a time when you ought to be watching and praying, no gree for any devil!

If he comes in the form of appetizing food when you supposed to be fasting, no gree for any devil!

Or whether he comes with the urge to fornicate or masturbate, making you feel that you can't survive without sex, no gree for any devil!

Even if he still comes in the form of the serpent as he did in the beginning, or in human form to make you question the Word of God or His existence, so that you will end up rebelling against God or disobeying His Word, no gree for any devil!

If you gree for any devil, you will surely regret it as Adam and Eve did in the beginning, because the devil is a thief that only wants to steal, kill and destroy your life, and sin would give him the access he needs to be able to do just that, so no gree for any devil this year!

The One you should gree for this year is Jesus, because He is the One that really loves you and cares about you.

That's why He died for you because He doesn't want you to perish in your sins but wants you to have eternal life.

So you must gree for Jesus this year. In Jesus name!

Truly repent of your sins and ask Jesus to come into your heart, and I promise you, it's the best decision you will ever make in your life!

God bless.

Thank God for your life.

What's impossible with men is possible with God.

Only God through His Spirit can fully convince lost souls, including atheists, to turn to Christ.

That's why it's important to have God with us when we witness about Him to the lost.

This's the reason I believe Jesus told His disciples to wait until they were endued with power from on high before they go into the world and bear witness of Him to men.

They needed the Holy Spirit to be able to accomplish the divine assignment.

Jesus also said that He would give them an ability to answer questions men ask that they wouldn't be able to gainsay or resist. Mark 13:11

So the Holy Spirit makes witnessing about Jesus much easier.

God bless.
Religion / Re: Ajoke Joshua: Is It A Sin For A God-fearing Child To Expose Parent's Atrocities? by jesusjnr2020(m): 2:31pm On Jan 19
Therefore it's not a sin for God-fearing children to rebel against or expose the atrocities of their wicked parents, especially after they have warned them severally to desist from such but they refused to heed their warning. Instead began to persecute them for not supporting their evil agenda.

The most important or final authority in any man's life is supposed to be God not one's earthly parents.

This is very important for every believer!

Even honouring of one's parents alone may not suffice to live long in the land according to the promise given in the bible, because it must comply with honouring and fearing God, otherwise the promise would be of none effect.

That's why God gave Solomon specific instruction to keep His commandments and statutes as David his father did, as a prerequisite for Him to lengthen Solomon's days.
1 Kings 3:4

That's even for the temporal life on Earth, how much more eternal life?

So if you are a God-fearing child and you find yourself in a similar situation, do not fret because the most important thing is that you obey God and keep His commandments, so do not let anyone intimidate you because going against or disobeying your parents wicked plans and instructions doesn't mean you're rebelling against God.

In fact, it's if you support them to do evil against others, that you will become rebellious in God's sight.

It's not an easy situation to be in for the God-fearing child, hence why Jesus said, any man who wants to come after Him must also hate His parents among others things, because a time may come when one would have to choose between obeying God and one's parents to prove who one is truly serving and one's true master.

So it's not a sin for a God-fearing child to expose the atrocities of her parent like Adoke did.

In fact, I believe Ajoke made a courageous and exemplary decision to obey and please God rather than her evil dad, despite knowing the damning consequences of doing that.

For that she has my respect and I thank God for giving TB Joshua such a God-fearing daughter, who is not afraid to bring his evil works to light.

God bless.

Religion / Re: Ajoke Joshua: Is It A Sin For A God-fearing Child To Expose Parent's Atrocities? by jesusjnr2020(m): 2:25pm On Jan 19
The predicament Adoke found herself though is not exclusive to her, because even in the Bible days, there were those God-fearing children who found themselves in a similar situation.

One was Jonathan, the son of king Saul.

Because he refused refused to obey or support his dad's wicked plans against God's servant David, who had done him no evil, His father called him "son of the perverse rebellious woman", and even cast a javelin at him to assassinate him. 1 Samuel 19:4-5, Samuel 20:30-33.

However regardless of the threats or attempt made on his life by his dad, he couldn't be intimidated, as he didn't succumb to his dad's demands. Instead he would do everything to save David's life from the hands of his evil father, including exposed the father's evil plans. 1 Samuel 20:12-13

Today Jonathan is regarded as hero in Israel despite having a man they reckon as as an evil king as his dad, because what he did to save David life from the hands of his evil dad, as David who was called a man after God's heart, went on become the greatest king in the nation's history before the coming of Jesus.

God bless.

Ajoke Joshua: Is It A Sin For A God-fearing Child To Expose Parent's Atrocities?

For those who haven't yet seen the testimony of Ajoke, which exposed the atrocities of her father, TB Joshua, you get it from the following thread:

https://www.nairaland.com/7969639/tb-joshuas-daughter-ajoke-tortured

She narrated her ordeal of how she confronted him concerning this, while he was yet alive, and the consequent persecution and abuses she suffered from him.

Many former disciples of TB Joshua have also reported similar cases of atrocities pepertrated by the Synagogue Church of all nation's late founder.

One of them, an eye witness, confirmed Adoke's story and hailed her as a hero for being bold enough despite her young age, to stand up to a man many men feared to confront for his atrocious acts even though he was her biological father.

On the other hand, there were those who viewed Ajoke as a traitor and a rebellious child, including her father, regardless that she only revealed the truth about him, despite being her dad.

Hence it beggars the question:

Is it a sin for a God-fearing children to confront or expose the atrocities of their parents?

God bless.

Where you got it all wrong was comparing TB Joshua to Pharisees!

Let me enlighten you a bit on that.

In Jesus' day all Jews must attend meetings in the same temple so there's no options for any Jew who feel different regarding the attitude of their religious leaders that's why Jesus also can't worship elsewhere apart from the temple but here in Nigeria you're not forced to worship in the synagogues where TB Joshua is the founder.
In Jesus' day the Pharisees were the same people ruling over the Jews so it's difficult for any Jew to stand against whatever they do but here in Nigeria TB Joshua is not even the local counselor in his neighbourhood so he has no authority over your choice.
In Jesus' day whoever is not recognized by the Pharisees is like a walking corpse therefore all reputable Jews are trying to gain their approval but here in Nigeria TB Joshua only has authority inside his own church which he must be careful not to misuse otherwise he could be reported and arrested like Reverend King.
In Jesus' day Pharisees weren't performing any miracles neither was any other religious group even John the baptist never performed one single miracle but here in Nigeria thousands are claiming they perform miracles in different religions.

So my guy how is TB Joshua an oppressor?
Ọmọ the guy opened his shop and you moved in there to patronize him therefore if you are now shouting "oppression" were you forced to go there?
Is there no other religious center?
Can he do anything to you if you don't attend his church?

Guy you know nothing about God's word so let the matter rest as long as TB Joshua's case is concerned neither you nor any of your so called pastors can judge him because he never forced anyone they willingly went to him! smiley
Someone who judges Jesus falsely to be angel Michael wants to educate someone else on how to judge others.

I am not going to waste any more time trying to correct you because it's just like pouring water into a basket and still expecting it to hold.

You need to first of all repent, humbly go on your knees before Jesus and ask Him to forgive you of all your blasphemy and lies you've spoken against Him because you didn't know what you were doing.

Next, you ask Him to remove any demon of JWs that has blinded your judgment so you can't judge people a right.

After He's delivered you from the spirit of the antichrist, bad judgment, hypocrisy and falsehood, you possessed from your organisation, then you can get back to me to talk about judgment.

Until then, kindly hold your peace.

Guy you have no regard for God's word so there's no need arguing further just know that Jesus will never ever judge anyone without following the standard set by God.

Jesus said he will not do a single thing out of his own initiative he always follow God's direction. John 5:30 smiley
I feel disgusted hearing you continuing to talk about Jesus because Jesus didn't call thieves, murderers, liars, rapists, paedophiles, oppressors of the poor, etc., "innocent" and "true Christians", "prophets of God" as you do.

He called them a "wicked and adulterous generation", "brood of vipers", "thieves", "whitewashed sepulchres", "devils", "murderers", "false prophets" etc., by their fruits.

But you obviously hate and despise Jesus so much, you want to insult and debase Him at every opportunity. Accusing others with passion doesn't show a sense of maturity that's why i used the full strength of God's word to show you God's view on such matters but it's OK if you don't have regard for God's word you can continue following the crowd with malicious intent! Exodus 23:1-2

I'm not defending anyone here what i'm saying is we need to go by God's standard in judging matters so if you're a true believer use God's word to prove your stand not just calling your neighbour "rapists, murderers, abusers, liars, paedophiles" when you can't prove it.

Jesus said:

“Stop judging that you may not be judged; for with the judgment you are judging, you will be judged, and with the measure that you are measuring out, they will measure out to you" Matthew 7:1-2

Christ Jesus wasn't telling us not to call a spade "a spade" but then are you 100% sure?

Because the type of judgement you render to others by concluding without verification will also come back to you one day, you will also fall into the hands of accusers and that day no one with sound reasoning will come to your rescue all what you will see is people who are quick in judging without thorough investigation.

That day you will remember what i'm telling you now. undecided
Says who the hypocrite who goes from thread to thread doing nothing else but judging the posts and comments of others, calling them unbelievers because they simply don't believe or aren't part of the JWs, while seeing the convicted criminals (Paedophiles, rapists, etc.) of JWs as the only true Christians regardless of their crimes just because they belong to your organisation.

And you want to teach me about what Jesus says? You're not qualified to do so for bringing His Holy Name to disrepute.

You're judgmental just as everyone else, but if you say you're not, it's because you're a liar and a hypocrite.

Jesus Himself says He judges but His judgment is true. John 18:6

That's the difference between Us and the likes of you who judge falsely, calling convicted and bonafide criminals, innocent, just because they belong to your cult.

Are you now using what i taught you on your thread or you're just here to play?
The same goes to TB Joshua's case there hasn't been found TWO WITNESSES speaking in agreement on a particular incident so what each accuser is saying is independent thought that's not substantial enough to make a decisive conclusion on the man's case!

All the false witnesses brought up against Jesus were his former disciples who angrily left him because they thought he was a cultist {John 6:66} they concluded that Jesus was into cannibalism for saying they should eat his flesh and drink his blood so when called upon to witness against him most of them gladly came to testify but their testimonies was never in agreement.
WHY?
Because they were instigated to do so therefore they can't figure out how to make a sound witness against an innocent man.
TB Joshua is not a worshiper of my God and the same goes to all of you but then you can't judge him when no court of law or God's word is not involved!
You didn't need to split the post to confuse yourself, because it actually corrects the utter foolishness and ignorance of trying to use sinless/guiltless Jesus to defend serial rapists, murderers, abusers, liars, paedophiles etc.

Only antichrists and blasphemers of God as the JWs do that!

You obviously have a habit of defending the convicted criminals in your group, so not surprised that you're also defending your evil brother from another cult, but of the same father, the devil.

You don't know what ACCUSATIONS means but if you're truly sincere you can go to Israel now and listen to what Israelites has to say about Jesus of Nazareth perhaps after listening to all the bad reports they gathered about him and his disciples you will learn to focus not on accusations but verified facts! Exodus 23:1-2 smiley
Imagine bringing up the name of Jesus in defence of bonafide and convicted criminals!

It takes an antichrist to do that. Continue!

The Pharisees sought witnesses to stand against Jesus but they found none until two came up but even their accounts still did not agree.

Pilate who handed over Jesus to be crucified litterally washed his hands in a bowl of water before doing so, because he didn't want to be guilty of an innocent man's death.

Even Judas the only disciple who betrayed Jesus, felt so guilty after He was condemned, to the extent he went back to return the money he received to betray Jesus because he said he had betrayed an innocent man.

It's ridiculous how some could possibly find any basis of comparison with Judas' instance with Jesus and that of many of TB Joshua's former disciples coming out to testify against him.

Really crazy.

Of course you can hide from the truth because you don't have any scriptures to prove that TB Joshua is not a man of God.
Whatever disqualifies TB Joshua equally applies to all your friends/pastors. smiley
Of course I knew that being a serial rapist, killer, adulterer, doesn't prove TB Joshua to be false prophet according to you.

The same way your convicted JWs of similar crimes were still the only true men of God.
