Religion / The Day Jesus Raised Dry Bones From The Grave by jesusjnr2020(m): 8:14am On Mar 29
The Day Jesus Raised Dry Bones From The Grave

It's also the same day that heaven, Earth, and hell stood still.

https://www.nairaland.com/6488160/day-heaven-earth-hell-stood#100413139

It was a day like no other in the history of the world.

The day when Jesus died on the cross for the sins of the world.

That day witnessed much greater works of Jesus than He had done in His entire lifetime on Earth prior to that.

Of course, the greatest work Jesus did on that day, beyond the shadow of any doubt is the breaking the curse and bondage of sin, and consequently bringing salvation to mankind via His death.

However that wasn't all, because there were other greater works Jesus did on that day, one of which was the raising of dry bones from the grave.

Matthew 27:52-53 (KJV)

And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose,
And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many.

The many saints said to have risen from the dead were people that had been dead for hundreds or even thousands of years, so by that time their carcasses should have been reduced to mere dry bones.

But the power of Jesus death was able to add sinews, flesh and skin to their dry bones and quicken the bodies with breath of life to make them live again.

What happened on that day was similar to what was described in the vision God gave to Ezekiel of dry bones in Ezekiel 37.

However on that occasion, that was merely an illustration of the dire state of the Children of Israel during that period, where their case appeared as lifeless and hopeless as those of the dry bones, hence God using it to send a message to them that regardless, He was able to do that which seemed impossible and restore them back to their former state and make them great again.

But on the day of Jesus death, God proved that what was depicted in the vision of Ezekiel about the very dry bones was not just an illustration, but that He was able to literally make dry bones to live again.

He did that via the death of Christ.

God bless.

So they were hence startled but had to wait for Jesus to say, "I am He", before they acted it out, right?

Religion / What Makes The Death Of Jesus Extra Special by jesusjnr2020(m): 7:45am On Mar 29
What Makes The Death Of Jesus Extra Special

The death of Jesus is extraordinarily unique in the sense that it wasn't just the first of its kind, but the only, as there had never been and could never be anyone else like it.

It wasn't just about being innocent and dying in the place of someone who was guilty of death like Barabbas, as many often like to depict it.

Several others have done that which is often seen as heroic, but none of them has ever had eternal life.

That's the difference between Jesus' death and the others.

For Jesus was born sinless and without man's sinful nature, He also never sinned, so He still had eternal life just as man did in the beginning before man sinned against God.

Therefore dying to Jesus was just like man having eternal life prior to His coming.

It was impossible!

It was only someone without eternal life that could possibly die.

Hence why Jesus' being the Word of God in the flesh, had to take on Himself the sins of mankind for dying to be possible to Him.

That necessity took place before His death, and was the reason why the (Spirit of the) Father left Him prior to that. Matthew 27:46

For if Jesus hadn't taken upon Himself the sins of the world, the Spirit of the Father (which gives eternal life) would never have left Him, and consequently Jesus would have never been able to die.

But this had to happen for Jesus who had eternal life to die, so it would be possible for man who had lost his eternal life because of sin to have eternal life.

That's what makes the death of Jesus extra special.

Jesus didn't just die to save a man's life but to give man eternal life.

God bless.

John 10:11 (KJV)

I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.

John 10:17-18 (KJV)

Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again.
No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father.

John 15:13 (KJV)

Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

I believe they were arrested themselves by the Holy Ghost Whose presence also served as a protective shield around Jesus, so if not that Jesus had decided to willingly submit Himself to them as He Himself had said, no band or battalion of army in the world could have been able to arrest Him. John 10:10, 17-18, 15:13.

He did that because of the love He had for His Father and His sheep.

What Fell The Soldiers That Came To Arrest Jesus?

John 18:6 (KJV)

As soon then as he had said unto them, I am he, they went backward, and fell to the ground.

It was a strange occurrence considering that they were fully armed with weapons, and it was armless Jesus they had come to arrest, so what could have made them suddenly reverse and fall to the ground?

Was it Christophobia or a panic attack they had because of Jesus?

Was your name there in the first place?

So how can something not included in the book be blotted out?

Repent first and truly turn to God so your name could be added to His book first.

Then you can now start talking about a blotting out.

Also for those preachers saying sin cannot take anyone to hell, it is now beyond obvious that such an idea is heretic and never emanated from God because God said sin can make someone's name to be blotted out of His book (of life), and God cannot be a liar.

They obviously got that heretic saying from the false teaching of "Salvation by grace, not by works", which is being taught as doctrine and the Word of God in the church.

It's the same false teaching that made many Christians believe that they can continue with their sinful way of life and still not lose their salvation.

That's how a false teaching is going to send many of them to hell because God Himself said sin can make a man lose their salvation, hence such false teachings of men in the church have made the Word of God which should save many of them to be of no effect in their lives.

That's what happens when the "lies" of men is being taught as the Word of God.

God bless.

"Let God be true and every man a liar". (Romans 3:4)

I actually agree with apostle Paul on this one. He was absolutely spot on.

Let God be true about what would make Him blot the name of anyone from His book (of life), and let every man with a contrary teaching be a liar.

So for all those unrepentant sinners justifying themselves by Apostle Paul's erroneous teaching on salvation, that salvation is by grace alone, not by works, thinking Paul could know better than God about God's own salvation, they should continue deceived themselves if they like, thinking they could continue to sin against God and still not have their names blotted out of God's book because salvation is by God's grace alone so sin cannot make them lose their salvation, or that Jesus has finished all the work so they don't have to do theirs, on the day they would tell us whether it's Paul's book or God's book.

God bless.

Here are some revelations later given by Jesus Christ that confirm what God said much earlier in this regard.

Revelation 20:12 (KJV)

And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

Revelation 21:27 (KJV)

And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life.

Revelation 20:15 (KJV)

And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

Whose Name Would God Blot Out Of His Book

There are several women God's preparing for His mighty move that would take place in these last days and i'm blessed to be used by God to raise some of them.

One of them God led to me in this forum, as a sinner, demon-possessed but today she's delivered and saved to the glory of God.

She also confirmed seeing the face of Jesus I saw myself and once used as my profile picture, and she had many rapture dreams where He usually sends her to warn men about His imminent coming.

Another God sent to me, who then was afraid to preach to lost souls, despite having many dreams and visions about the end time and also Jesus sending her to warn men that He's coming soon, is now preaching the Gospel with much passion to lost souls.

Her husband, once an Alfa, whom her mother in-law, a devout Muslim, sternly warned her not to convert to christianity, is now a proudly a Christian and is not ashamed to pray in the name of Jesus.

Whenever I hear him call Jesus with so much belief, especially when he's praying for his family and children, I marvel at what God has done for the woman because this was the same man that was already set to pay dowry for a second wife that made the woman complain bitterly to me.

But I encouraged her not to give up but present the matter before God and ensure she doesn't stop his work not matter what, and today she's reaping the benefits as God has turned the situation totally around. The husband deeply regretted his decision and now dreads such women.

God has also used her mightily in the husband's family, as the same mother in-law (that warned her not to convert her son) to Christianity, has converted herself after she was attacked, lost her memory and almost lost her life, but was fully restored after she came to stay with her daughter in-law.

It's a long story, even the other in-laws were stunned by the result as their mother's case was turning hopeless prior to that, but that's an idea of what God's can do with women who represent His Word on Earth and not that of the devil.

There is another whom God has revealed to me to be as a Kathryn Kulman of this generation. She also happens to be the first person to accept my preaching of Words of Jesus and began to preach it herself, so it could hardly be a coincidence.

Therefore God hasn't left me out of what He is doing with women in these last days because I decided to follow God's Voice concerning women, not those of men.

God bless.
Religion / Re: When God Told A Man To Listen To His Wife's Voice by jesusjnr2020(m): 8:27am On Mar 17
God has not stop backing the voice of any woman that represents His Word up til this day.

He backed the voice of Kathryn Kulman, to the extent she is widely regarded as one of God's generals which was initially thought to be exclusively the league of men.

He also did that with Gladys Aylward, a British woman He sent to evangelize the nation of China. Despite being petit in size, she became the most respected voice in China at the time. Even the emperor of China would seek her help or advice concerning national issues that seem beyond his scope, and God would use her to resolve it. When the nation warred with Japan, she was declared wanted by Japan who threw fliers from planes with her face on it marked wanted. She escaped and also saved the lives of many children during the war. She later returned to her country and when she speaks a times, thousands of men would be standing for up to four hours listening to her voice. Her story later made the big screen of Hollywood, titled "The Inn of the Sixth Happiness" produced by Twentieth century fox, although when she went to see it herself she wasn't not happy with the way they twisted it to suit their own narrative.

There's also Mary Slessor a missionary from Germany who left her country and husband and came to Nigeria, who God used to stop the killing of twins in Akwa Ibom because the whole men of the region listened to her voice.

There are many more, so God has not stopped backing the voice of women and using them to speak to men, whenever they represented His Word up til this very day.

God bless.

God would have also been happy and done the same to Adam if his wife, Eve's voice represented His Word and hence made Adam to obey God's Word instead of disobeying it.

Unfortunately it didn't, and worst still most women have followed Eve's example, as their voices don't represent the Word of God or His plans for man but that of the devil.

However there are still a few occasions when the voice of a woman represents the Word of God instead, as that of Sarah on that particular occasion, and whenever that is the case, God has been observed to back the woman's voice so that men would listen to what she has to say.

*This He did with prophetess Deborah, a one time God's appointed judge of Israel, in a time of their oppression, that made the mighty men of Israel to not dare take a step to go after their enemies without her order, as they believed it determined the difference between them being victorious or losing the battle. Judges 4:4-24.

*God also backed the voice of queen Esther during a distressing moment in the history of Israel, when their enemies sought to totally eliminate them, as He gave them total victory over their enemies despite being overwhelming underdogs, after the whole men of Israel listened to her voice. Esther 4-9.

*This also continued with the coming of Jesus as the first miracle Jesus did, despite saying His time hadn't yet come, was because men obeyed the voice of a woman, His mother Mary, who told them regardless of His unwillingness to do a miracle yet, "whatever He says, do it". John 2:3-11.

*He also backed the voice of a Samaritan woman who evangelized Him to the Samaritans, to the extent, despite being hungry and thirsty, He wouldn't eat or drink anything brought to Him by His own disciples, until He had confirmed what she said of Him to the Samaritans that made them believe in Him. John 4:6-42

*Then there was the women that He first appeared to after His resurrection and sent to preach the first message of His resurrection to His disciples and brethren who also happened to be His church. He would rebuke them for not believing the voice of the women that preached His Word to them that He had risen from the dead. Mark 16: 2-11, 14.

So whenever a woman voice represents God's Word, God has shown Himself severally in the Bible that He desires for men, including her husband, to listen to her voice.

God bless.
Religion / Re: When God Told A Man To Listen To His Wife's Voice by jesusjnr2020(m): 8:26am On Mar 17
Unfortunately such an instance that shows where God commanded a man to listen to the voice of his wife, could hardly be found being taught in the churches these days, despite being in the Bible which they claim to be the Word of God.

They only want to remember what happened in the beginning when God rebuked and punished Adam for listening to his wife's voice, because that aligns with their misguided orientation and preconceptions about women.

They don't realize that God wasn't angry with Adam and punished Him, because it was a sin or a bad thing for a man to ever listen to his wife's voice, but that on that particular occasion his wife's voice didn't represent God's Word, but that of the devil which went against God's Word and hence made him sin against God.

But whenever the voice of a man's wife represents the Word of God and aligns with God plans for the man, as that of Abraham's wife, Sarah, on this particular occasion, it's would be God's earnest desire and even commandment, where need be, for the man to listen to the voice of his wife, which if he consequently does, it will be for his own good, as God would be pleased with the man for listening to the voice of his wife and even reward him for doing so, as in this instance of Abraham, because the voice of the woman on that occasion represented His Voice.

Religion / When God Told A Man To Listen To His Wife's Voice by jesusjnr2020(m): 8:25am On Mar 17
When God Told A Man To Listen To His Wife's Voice

The man is question is Abraham, who God Himself called His friend, and is widely considered to be the the first patriarch of the Christian faith.

On this particular occasion Abraham was really angry with his wife, Sarah, because she told him to send away Hagar and her son Ishmael (whom she bore unto him), as Sarah didn't want Ishmael to share in the inheritance with her son, however God intervened and told Abraham to listen to his wife's voice!

Genesis 21:12 (KJV)

And God said unto Abraham, [Let it not be grievous in thy sight because of the lad, and because of thy bondwoman; in all that Sarah hath said unto thee, hearken unto her voice; for in Isaac shall thy seed be called.

That's how God commanded Abraham despite his grievance at what his wife said, to listen the voice of his wife because according to God, what the wife was saying to him aligned with the plans He had for Abraham and his son, Isaac.

Therefore despite being initially angry with his wife because what she told him went against his own will and personal plans, being a true servant of God, he went against his own will and obeyed God and listened to his wife, Sarah's voice.

Genesis 21:14 (KJV)

And Abraham rose up early in the morning, and took bread, and a bottle of water, and gave it unto Hagar, putting it on her shoulder, and the child, and sent her away: and she departed, and wandered in the wilderness of Beer-sheba.

So whenever we hear God call Abraham His friend, we can see another good reason why.

God bless.

I have already shared here severally the true story of several GO's who would have been ended up in Hell fire because they rejected the Words of Jesus concerning forgiveness, if not that they were given a second chance of life to correct that grievous error of eternal proportions.

https://www.nairaland.com/7555321/these-three-church-leaders-bound

https://www.nairaland.com/7162263/unforgiveness-one-subtle-sin-take

One of them, was Rev. Josiah Olufemi Akindayomi, the founder of RCCG, which arguably boasts the most christian followers in Nigeria to prove that the Words of Jesus is no respecter of persons.

What struck me most was the testimony of one of them, Pastor Daniel Ekechukwu, as it confirmed what I have believed all this while and have been saying about the Words of Jesus, that makes me emphasize them over those of anyone else, including those in the Bible, even the teachings of the apostles.

The pastor said he was so sure of himself and kept bragging about begin a man of God, when the angel told him if the book of his life was closed today, he would spend his eternity in hell fire, until the angel told him, "remember what Jesus said about forgiveness", then he suddenly realized his the extent of his foolishness of vowing not to forgive his wife who offended him until he get revenge, shortly before his death in an accident, and consequently started weeping and lamenting about how he had destroyed himself.

The Angel of God who knows much better didn't say, remember what Paul or any of the apostles said, or what this or that powerful man of God said, or what Christians said, or even what the Bible said, but what Jesus said.

Unfortunately many Christians were yet guilty of the same error of taking the Words of Jesus for granted or disobeying it because of what others said or did to the contrary, especially those they look up to as apostles of Christ and men of God.

They think that because their church leaders were praying for their enemies to die instead of forgiving them as Christ taught us to do, or because apostle Paul also did it in the Bible and didn't forgive his enemy when he tresspassed against him (2 Timothy 4:14), they could also do it and get away with it on the day of judgement even though it goes against Christ's teachings on forgiveness?

They forget that just as pastor Daniel and the other GO's, that all those men of God, prophets and apostles they are following to reject and disobey the Words of Jesus would also be judged by the same Words they rejected on that day if they don't repent of such before their death, because Jesus said "anyone" so no one was exempted from that judgement.

We're so lucky to have been sent these warning messages from hell by God to remind us about the importance of keeping Jesus Words, because many Christians that ended up there as a result didn't have such a benefit or even lucky enough to be given a second shot at life to make amends as these three GO's.

Imagine the horror that greeted the pastor who was so sure of himself, when he realized he had rejected the Words of Jesus about forgiveness despite knowing about it, hence would have spent eternity in hell if the book of his life was closed at that moment.

I don't mind being hated or call anything for telling you this hard truth about the importance of keeping the Words of Jesus.

It would be worth all the hatred and persecution in the world if it makes even just one more person to escape the judgement of Christ Words on the last day.

God bless.

The is what Jesus said Himself about those who reject His Words, but unfortunately many so-called Christians appear not to believe what Jesus said on this particular occasion.

They think He didn't know or mean what He was saying, and that they can still reject His Words and yet be saved on the last day.

They take His Words for granted because they see many, including those they consider to be men of God, also doing it, so they believe they could also do it without facing the consequences of rejecting the Words of Jesus.

What they don't know however is that every single one of those they call men of God would still have to answer to those Words of Jesus if they rejected them on that day.

No one is exempted or above keeping the Words of Jesus, not even the apostles.

Every one of them who rejects those Words would be made to face the judgment of those Words they rejected, because it's those Words that are life everlasting, so it's their obedience of those Words that is meant to give them eternal life.

What Will Happen To Anyone Who Rejects the Words Of Jesus On Judgement Day

John 12:48 (KJV)

And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world. He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day. For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak. And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak.

The same Words they reject would reject them in the last day.

Foundations are at different levels. Jesus is the chief corner Stone. It also means that Jesus laid the first foundation.

The work of the Apostles was also foundational because the church of the Gentiles just began. But whatever they did was consistent with the teachings of our Lord Jesus.
See this is not about foundation or chief corner stone or whatever, but who built the church.

Christ said He built it Himself whether in present or future tense, so what you said about Him building just the foundation with the apostles building the church, was heretic and clearly goes against His teachings.

You can even see where He implied that He would use Peter (which name is interpreted as "the rock" ), as the foundation of the church He will build Himself.

So being a part of the foundation has nothing do to with building the church itself, which was exclusively done by Jesus with Power of the Holy Ghost.

Christ built His church and handed it over to the apostles to manage or supervise it not to build with Him. The church building was finished with His death (and resurrection).

Thank you and God bless.

This shows how humble Paul was. However, it was only a few times he said to a thing like this. It also implies that every other things he said was from the Lord.

Only one or two instructions out of hundreds of instructions are his opinions. And they are reasonable opinions. So, most of the instructions contained in his letters are the Lord's command.
I will give it to you, at least you're humble enough to accept this thing he said himself, even though it goes against your initial belief that all he said were inspired of God, unlike some others who will keep arguing blindly despite how glaringly this saying of Paul disproves of their erroneous belief.

Is that what Jesus Christ told you to preach to all men, but His own teachings? Matthew 28;20

You don't teach men to fully observe what Jesus commanded us, but preaching what Paul taught you.

IS Paul now your Christ?

You must be a Paulian then and not a true Christian because true Christians fully follow the instructions of Christ, not those of men as Paul.

Hence your wisdom is the wisdom of men because it wasn't Christ that told you to preach what you're preaching but the wisdom of men.

I follow the Wisdom of God in Christ Jesus not those of men as Paul.

That wisdom of men has sent many Christians to hell because it teaches men not to forgive their enemies as Christ taught us, but to follow the erroneous teachings of Paul and other men of God which encourage unforgiveness.

You think you can escape the wrath of God if you don't follow Christ's teaching on forgiveness?

Ask other preachers who would have ended up spending eternity in hell for not rejecting Christ's teaching on forgiveness, as the founder of RCCG, Rev Josiah Olufemi Akindayomi, if not that God gave them a second chance after death to correct that gross error.

https://www.nairaland.com/7555321/these-three-church-leaders-bound#120646586

So you're a small boy for even your church leader, Israel Muoka would not escape hell if he doesn't follow Jesus teaching on forgiveness because no man is above Christ's teachings not even Paul.

If you be arguing blindly and don't repent of unforgiveness, thinking you can get away with rejecting the teachings of Christ on forgiveness, all your preaching will be in vain, and you may not get a second chance to make amends as those church leaders.

Our preaching the teachings of Christ is to save blind Christians like you from a similar destructive path, but if you like reject it.

This is apostle James, the half brother of Jesus, who succeeded Simon Peter as leader of the church in Jerusalem. He should know a thing or two about Jesus and His teachings. Although he didn't specifically mention whose false teaching he was referring to on this occasion, it's that glaring everyone true Christian knows it was Paul's.

Here's the teaching of Paul he was referring to:

Ephesians 2:8-9 (KJV)

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.

This is his impeccable rebuttal:

James 2:14-26 (KJV)

What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him? If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food, And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit? Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works. Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble. But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?
Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar? Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect? And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God. Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only. Likewise also was not Rahab the harlot justified by works, when she had received the messengers, and had sent them out another way? For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.

You can clearly see that not every apostle agreed that every teaching of Paul was inerrant and inspired of God as many Paulians erroneously think.

God bless.

Righteousness2:

ALL scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness

Drop all these uneccsary talks.
Stick to the Scriptures. Dont be wise in your own eyes.

Thought as much, for someone proven to be more concerned about pleasing men than speaking the Truth.

Do you have any idea the damage unforgiveness can cause to a christian?

But you don't care about Christians who could be misled by such erroneous teachings in the Bible.

You're afraid to back the Truth of Christ teachings even when it's glaring because you're afraid of ruffling feathers of your fellow Christians.

Continue deceiving yourself and others but you can't deceive God.

Righteousness2:
Bro stop confusing yourself with unneccessary talks.
The Bible is the WORD of GOD.
All Scripture is given by Inspiration of GOD .

Do you know it is a righteous thing for GOD to recompense Tribulation to those that trouble his people?
What would you say about JESUS CHRIST when he described Herod as a Fox.

Quit all these ramblings. You end Up Confusing yourself for unnecessary reason.

The Word of GOD, the Holy Bible is a compleye Inspiration from GOD to teach us, Guide us, lead us and mould us.
Any idea outside what is contained in the scriptures is an act of Confusing yourself.

The Bible is the Word of GOD.

So in a nutshell, you mean this prayer of apostle Paul in the Bible was also inspired of God and Christians should emulate it right?
