And the story continues.........
After the initial gragra of sourcing for market and finally getting some links to mile 12 market to supply tomatoes.
I discovered i have no tomatoes to harvest from the farm again.
So what next...
I went back to the drawing board,
Analysing what and what need to be adjusted or put in place against the coming year.
From my analysis, the followings are the issue that need to be tackled...
1. How to produce all year round
2. Transportation to market
3. Needs to have quality tomatoes that will meet standard requirement

Working around this
1. producing all year round
This means I have to nurse tomato seed every month.
The questions are...
Do I have the resources to do this?
This will involve having labourers all through the year, availability of water, Enough land for use, seed procurement etc.
I must also be able to produce large quantity so the vehicles that will move it to the market will be filled. Its usually on chattered basis.

its obvious i can not produce all year round ALONE
What do i do?

so i start working with rural farmers.
How and why?
I once gave some farmer from my tomato seed to try out.
My greatest suprise is that their tomato did well than my own tomatoes.
They neither use fertilizer or irrigation.
Its from them i learnt that soil is an essential factor in the farm

@ Jethro2, I will appreciate if you guys can package an intensive programme that can last three days for the benefit of those that don't have the luxury of time to spend a whole month for your programmes because I really want to learn some rudimentary basics from you guys here and also network better with other like minds.

I like most post on here and strongly agree on breaking the stronghold of the cabals, cartels, unions that lay wait and reap from numerous hard working people's labor.
Since our government isn't functioning my plan as a Agriprenuer, Diasporian & Startup guru is to wait and have my goods seized by a Union member or any of such rings.
The way forward is to sue them Unions to court and challenge their legitimacy. I am with my Counsel now seeking their opinion.

I would advise you concentrate on making the dough and give what belongs to ceaser to ceaser. One learn to manouver the rope and making something out of the hard labour rather than wasting time, money, effort on fighting the cabals. They are bigger than you think
