securi: Nice one Sis. Good harvest. How much was 50kg tomato last week and how much is it now? Good evening sir. I am using a 35kg basket called Ghana basket. It Ghanaians that use it to bring tomato into Nigeria. I have an instinct my Yoruba agent lied about the price last week. So i shift to Hausa agent this week. Last week he said he sold for N7500. The other agent sold for N15,000 Henceforth the Yoruba agent gets nothing till further Notice. Sorry for long story. The 50kg basket is the one referred to as Hausa basket. Its usually twice the price of my Ghana basket. I hope i answer some of your question |

Hmmmn Everyone MUST visit your farm the same day Why am I reading meaning into this So you could arrange with the farm owners ?? I could be wrong Just thinking aloud. Most of what you wrote here does not correspond. Your calculations will work well with internet farming. And now you come up with this ridiculous proposal for visit. Something's are definitely not adding up. You couldn't even mention the name of the so called government agency. Like i said i could be wrong. But each of your write up keep giving me the assurance that I am right. Or probably you are just an attention seeker We have had enough of internet farmers which makes ones to be wise. Wish you luck ....... Sheyihman: Attention !!! A lots of people has called me requesting to visit my farm. This gladden my heart and am eager to welcome as many people as possible. But my concern is I will like to take all interested nairalander to the farm at once(same day) and show them my hands on experience in the business. Pls those that are interested or those nominated by nairalander should post their contact no on this thread so as to get across to them and choose a day we can all go to the farm. I believe those that visit the farm will be able to give a comprehensive report about the business and confirm my experience on the field, after which I start the lecture on this thread(A-Z on watermelon). |

enolife: please help me out I just finished me ND program. I really want to be an agropreneur. please house advise me, how can I grow my little N10,000 in Agro biz? am right now in Zamfara state. Any suggestions is welcome Note: the N10,000 is all I have. thanks Hmmmnmn. Growing N10,000 in agrobiz will be very difficult. I can understand your plight and would have love be of help. I don't have money to give you but you can plan to attend our vegetable practical training in September free. That is if the distance will not be a barrier. The N10,000 may barely be sufficient for your transport. But if you can find a way to get across and show some little committment, you can half some acres of land to practise, seed to plant, technical support to manage your farm, access to market, accomodation for the next one year, access to all farm equipments that will ease and guide you towards being an agripreneur. You can send mail to adesola_yinka@yahoo.com or call. remain bless |
