2ND FARM2MARKET VEGETABLE TRAINING When you pay N25,000 for a month training,
you automatically have:
1. Access to half acre of ploughable land to plant vegetable for a year free which will be allocated immediately after the one month training
2. Accommodation of shared hotel room has been arranged for participant to stay for a month

please get some basic practical knowledge before you commits your resources.
Make sure the farm assistance have adequate knowledge of the crop you want to specialise on.
Please don't go in with that desperation to make money quick quick.
You need to learn the rope. You can not manage farm in Ogun State from Lagos except you have enough resources to play with

I was at ds jubaili Agrotech seminar and we were told to use Star Force for post emergence herbicide. What insecticide do u use? What is your take on use of Agro chemicals does it have any harmful effect on d consumer?

Its possible but try it on a small space first.
Insecticides varies from places to places.
What works in my place might not work in some other area.
I also try as much as possible to be organic. The chemicals are seriously detrimental to our health.
Not only to consumer but also to the user and anyone in the vicinity

Cost recovering from the farm are determine by a lot of factors.
Yes the mulching film cost will be recover if you have good market for your products. This boils down to you having good quality crops.

Mulching film is a plastic material/nylon which is use for the following purpose
a. To eradicate weed
b. Retain moisture on the beds
c. The reflective surface reduces insects and pest infestation.

Its manual. There is no selective herbicide for tomato yet.

It could be that the plant need some water. I once have those type of leave with my cucumber farm. I was still contemplating what to do when there was an heavy downfall which makes everything disappear.
Adding more chemicals might compound the problems.

Moringa can be planted directly or propagate using the stem.
These are simple processes that you can try out.
My suggestion is that you can get the practical knowledge or send someone to be trained who will step down the training in the village.

Several things could cause that
1. Inadequate watering
2. Reacting to chemicals such as insecticide, pesticide or fertilizer
3. The soil is infected etc
Check what and what you have been applying to your crop

Start planning now.
Most people are rushing into farm to start now. The probability is that you might not meet the market at good price.
Why dont you start your planning for next season now?
You ve got no excuse to be jobless

Currently in Mile 12, a 30kg tomato basket is N18,000. Imagine if you have 50 basket.
