Born2Breed: Your story is as silly as you. Where close to the palace that is secretive? The boundary of the palace are Airport rd, Plymouth rd,Ezoti and Alaka.
No human sacrifices takes place in the palace. He had to run because he lied against the palace and he would have been lynched right there in the church by some members. You raised strong valid points too to counter that story but I advise we just let this issue rest. Palace issues are not meant to be discussed like it's common politics. |

thebestprice: After the testimony church had to give him cash and took him away from Benin to his home town. Because some elder in our church who are from Benin said he may be assassinated for revealing sone deep secrets of the palace operations This is the reason police are very uninterested in this case. Any matter concerning Palace is above them. Despite Benin turning into a city, the place is very traditional. I am not sure even the yorubas practise traditional religion at such level. |

magicminister: They are redistributing a content without appropriate permission. They are culpable and even as guilty as the people to sold it to them (IrokoTV). Since Iroko did so unwillfully, here is what Iroko Must do:
What they should do is to settle out of court with the lady and pay up in order to continue streaming the content... then they agree on future royaties. Afterwhich they will pay a one time fee (dESIST fee) to the people that shot the series and passed it off as theirs. They will never conduct business with those people or any of their affiliates in the future.
That is how its normally done! True, I'm sure this is what Jason would do. |

HenryDion: Exactly my thought. Someone must have gotten the e-book and in return, decide to make money off it.
But even at that, Iroko should first conduct a plagiarism check before proceeding with deals like that. Someone can not claim to write a book and you go ahead and make it a movie. There are processes to pass through. How do you conduct a plagiarism check in real life. These things are easier said than done. The lady should go and settle her case with DEO INTERBIZ LIMITED as advised by Iroko. |

Why is Tomi Davies so focused on Iroko TV, they did not produce the movie. The movie wasn't even done in Nigeria but Ghana and Iroko had directed her to the producers. |

mhd5757: Hey nairalanders, what do you think? Is this normal? Marriage doesn't appeal to me at all same as having kids, I prefer having dogs even now i have 2 of them and as soon as I get a job and make enough money I plan on getting 3 more making them 5 in number. I know most people, the first thing they want to do as soon as they get a job is to get married and have kids but not me, I'm also not interested in having a girlfriend, though I used to have one back then when I was in the university but we were forced to leave each other being that she had to go back to her country and I had to come back to Nigeria. After that I got another girl here in Nigeria, but I had to leave her because she was too expensive and she was draining me financially. After that, I just lost interest in relationships and I decided to be single, I decided that even if I feel the need to lay with a woman I can just go to an ashawo hotel or get a steady woman who I can be calling any time I need company. I think this is the lifestyle that suits me especially in this harsh economy, its easier for me. If I get married and have kids imagine all the money I'm going to have to be spending, excess groceries, all kinds of bills, school fees and the list goes on. At least having a steady woman to call like maybe once a week can't be as expensive as getting married and supporting a wife. Also having dogs can't be as expensive as raising kids, with dogs all I need to do is to buy their feed, their grooming products and pay for their medical bills and probably training fees too but with kids and a wife imagine all the bills, the lists keep compiling and they never end. What is your take on this? What do you think? It is normal but you're doing it for the wrong reasons. If you're sure you won't regret your action in future then I wish you the best but I doubt it is what you want to do. Old age can be very lonely. |

Organism000: Sure, if online businesses are there that keeps the cash inflow steady, by all means go ahead. There is nothing as wonderful as that at this stage in Nigeria's economic history, but it has become very tough getting deals via the internet these days because of our known history as a scam hub, but brokerage is great, very wonderful. I broker offline with state, federal governments and businesses. Lost N10bn contract in July but its part of the hustle, my part of that money was 1.5%. That's what I do. As for online business I just need to secure another good contract and launch a product with global appeal. Make I just de do the brokerage for now until Nigeria make sense again. I really hope to do big things for my country someday. |

Organism000: We are watching the swings of the next election and if Buhari wins, I wont be stepping out of my home except it is absolutely necessary. But I am moving most of my siblings who are still single out of possible trouble spots and building new home for them at city center.
But my wife. No way, she is not stepping into the country no matter what. My side chic keeps me going for now. Oga you sabi the thing. Personally, I believe sh!t will hit the fan big time next year. For now I just do brokerage and looking for a viable Internet business to set up. If it's even Kenya or Ghana, I will go there and sit. I believed in this country once and I'm paying dearly for it. |

Organism000: Yeah, my factory was shut down and I also shelve the idea of a larger one I had already completed drawings, site construction and surveys for. I have decided to focus on alternative investments that brings in less cashflow but which guarantees me a stable peace of mind. There is no point hiring an army of people without making much profits in the name of having a large business.
Nigeria has really deteriorated since Buhari took over. Import charges and taxation are just going up unpredictably. I strongly advise you leave while you still can. |

databoy247: What's wrong with a "payment processor" business?
Though I feel the metrics is overrated. It is not overrated since we can not verify that but it is vanity. When they process N1bn, that is not even revenue. Their revenue is like 0.5% or less of that money. Take that revenue and subtract capital and operational expense. Then you begin to see the real gross profit then subtract tax and you have net profit. In this case 0.5% of N1bn is N5m then proceed to subtracting expenses. An advert selling business on the other hand, when you sell advert units worth N20m, you know that money is yours minus expenses. |

As a prostitute,he wasn't expecting her to run out... this is how some men knack their babes. No pre-intimacy, no precision...they just dive inside with reckless abandon. After spoiling her bottom plate [thereby making her scared/unenthusiastic to go that path again], they will say "women don't like sex, they don't reach orgasm--90% of them are mutilated". Unku we don't like war, no be fight ahbeg! |
