But the world has gone past reactive leadership. What we need now are proactive leaders, who have the foresight and political will to prevent this kind of thing from happening in the first place.

It is called learning from experience, do you know how many people would have been saved assuming they have this knowledge of abandoning the cars, quit taking pictures and save your lives first.

Boss, we all know how Nigerian political systems work. The political will by the Chief Executive to effect change will not be opposed by his subordinates. Outsiders might resist but that's always ineffective as far our system is concern. Restructuring entails a lot of things will be considered before it can be possible but ultimately lies when those in charge are serious about making it possible

And in Nigeria, only vested interests that caters for the bulk of politicians will result in politicians acting to a logical conclusion.

we had a regional system in the past and state creation was after the collapse of regions.gowon was first to introduce to12 and they started to increase expenditure and creating poverty everywhere.under the regional government we had the first tv station,teaching hospitals ,universities,farm settlements,the development was fast and if it had continued ,we would have created a country bros.

Please bounce this idea off 3 or 4 other people and see the possibility of regions returning. I've worked a lot with both policy makers and politicians at both the federal and state levels, I know how they think, I could be wrong but I see no future in dissolving states and returning to regions.
