And who is Ngigie by the way? |
This is a true story of a Mother’s Sacrifice during the China Earthquake. After the Earthquake had subsided, when the rescuers reached the ruins of a young woman’s house, they saw her dead body through the cracks. But her pose was somehow strange that she knelt on her knees like a person was worshiping; her body was leaning forward, and her two hands were supported by an object. The collapsed house had crashed her back and her head. With so many difficulties, the leader of the rescue team put his hand through a narrow gap on the wall to reach the woman’s body. He was hoping that this woman could be still alive. However, the cold and stiff body told him that she had passed away for sure. He and the rest of the team left this house and were going to search the next collapsed building. For some reasons, the team leader was driven by a compelling force to go back to the ruin house of the dead woman. Again, he knelt down and used his had through the narrow cracks to search the little space under the dead body. Suddenly, he screamed with excitement,” A child! There is a child! “ The whole team worked together; carefully they removed the piles of ruined objects around the dead woman. There was a 3 months old little boy wrapped in a flowery blanket under his mother’s dead body. Obviously, the woman had made an ultimate sacrifice for saving her son. When her house was falling, she used her body to make a cover to protect her son. The little boy was still sleeping peacefully when the team leader picked him up. The medical doctor came quickly to exam the little boy. After he opened the blanket, he saw a cell phone inside the blanket. There was a text message on the screen. It said,” If you can survive, you must remember that I love you.” This cell phone was passing around from one hand to another. Every body that read the message wept. ” If you can survive, you must remember that I love you.” Such is the mother’s love for her child! Subhan Allah!

Pope Francis is a hugger. And he's continuing to touch his followers, both literally and figuratively, in ways his predecessor never did. His humanity and humility were again on display on Easter Sunday when, working the crowd in St. Peter's Square from his popemobile, the pontiff reached out and embraced 8-year-old American Dominic Gondreau. The crowd lifted Dominic, who has cerebral palsy, out of his wheelchair, and Pope Francis kissed and blessed him, moving the boy's parents to tears. Dominic's father, Paul, a professor at Rhode Island's Providence College who is currently teaching in Rome, called the encounter "incredibly moving." His mom said it was "like a kiss from God." http://now.msn.com/pope-francis-hugs-dominic-gondreau-disabled-boy-at-easter-mass?ocid=vt_fbmsnnow http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=sxIaWNftBmo#t=27s

ojubi: @ oops it is called "differential diagnosis"if only medical personnel can be humble enough to seek the opinion of other colleagues. A female friend of mine was so sick with severe abdominal pains that left her sleepless for more than one week and unable to attend lecture. She went for treatment at university of calabar teaching hospital were she did a scan and all manner of test the doctors told her she has" pelvic inflammatory disease" and gave her high doses of antibiotics and pain relievers but to no avail. This girl suffered and almost died of abdominal pains so I asked her to go to a private lab. And do a simple text known as "H pillory" used in detecting peptic ulcer, when the result came out it was positive, but the doctors in unical could not noticed this differential diagnosis. I prescribe antacids for her and gave her medical advice on the dos and Dons of peptic ulcer, and since that day that problem ended. Most times you just need to try another medical personnel.Buddy I've done the H pylori test twice but still have this mid left side pain while in lagos. What is the test outcome suppose to be like?cos only blood samples were taken and I've not fully read H pylori test and if it requires bio specimen. Thanks for expantiating |

fellow Nigerians, we must work collectively to end this boko haram scourge.Take a good look at the photo and you will notice the little white children among those kidnapped. If these boko bastards should murder this family,i desire the entire so called northern elders and their alfas be rounded up and executed. This they have taken toooooooo far. ![]() Pope Francis in his first Easter Sunday celebration appealed to the Boko Haram militants in Nigeria to free the hostages in their custody. Among the hostages was a French family of seven people, including the family head, Tanguy Moulin-Fournier. They had gone to visit a park in Northern Cameroon last month, when they were abducted and brought to Nigeria by Boko Haram militants. Pope Francis also prayed for a “political solution” in Syria and for “reconciliation” on the Korean peninsula in his first Easter Sunday message in front of a crowd in St Peter’s Square. The Pope similarly condemned human trafficking as “the most extensive form of slavery in this 21st century”. The pope delivered his “Urbi et Orbi” blessing to Rome and the world from the same balcony of St Peter’s Basilica where he made his first appearance after his momentous election to the papacy this month. Speaking in front of some 250,000 people from around the world in the Vatican, Francis prayed for “dear Syria, for its people torn by conflict and for the many refugees who await help and comfort. “How much blood has been shed! And how much suffering must there still be before a political solution to the crisis will be found?” he said. “On the Korean peninsula, may disagreements be overcome and a renewed spirit of reconciliation grow,” he said, a day after North Korea declared it was in a “state of war” with South Korea. Francis also prayed for Nigeria “where great numbers of people, including children, are held hostage by terrorist groups” — an apparent reference to a French family kidnapped in Cameroon and believed held by the Nigerian group Boko Haram. The pope also toured St Peter’s Square in his open-top “popemobile” — kissing babies and waving to cheering crowds who held up flags from around the world including his native Argentina. Easter is the holiest day in the Christian calendar and celebrates the belief in Jesus Christ’s death and resurrection. It is the culmination of weeks of intense prayer for Christians. At an Easter Vigil in St Peter’s Basilica on Saturday, the first pontiff from outside Europe in nearly 1,300 years of Church history reached out to non-believers and lapsed Catholics, urging them to “step forward” to God. “He will receive you with open arms,” said the 76-year-old, formerly Buenos Aires archbishop Jorge Bergoglio. The Catholic Church is struggling in the face of rising secularism, particularly in Europe where attendances at Mass are falling sharply. On Sunday, Francis prayed God’s message would reach “every house and every family, especially where the suffering is greatest, in hospitals, in prisons.” “How many deserts, even today, do human beings need to cross! Above all, the desert within, when we have no love for God or neighbour,” he said. The Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem on Sunday invited the pope and the world’s Christians to visit the Holy City, which he called the birthplace of “everything Christian.” “Our new evangelisation, in order to be up-to-date and effective, must start out again from Jerusalem, start out from the first Christian community,” Fuad Twal, the senior Roman Catholic cleric in the Holy Land, said in his Easter homily. In his first Easter sermon as Archbishop of Canterbury, who leads the world’s 80 million Anglicans, Justin Welby warned against “pinning hopes on individuals” to solve all of society’s problems. A “hero leader culture” in which all trust was placed in one person only led to false hope, he told worshippers at Canterbury Cathedral. http://pmnewsnigeria.com/2013/03/31/pope-francis-begs-boko-haram-to-free-hostages/

BluIvy: The last line is always easier said than done. As much as this is a friends story it affects me as well as a friend and as another woman. I am also mad at him and justifiably so becouse he used me to get to her and now he has destroyed her life. This is among the many problems i see with young people these days. For one,it is wrong for the Nigerian man to have lied his way into the heart of your "friend". However,my problem with most of you i've come across is your knack for REVENGE.It is so easy to tell a man, whose wife or girl friend CHEATED on him to forget about her and move on rather than him reacting, but once its a man or a foreigner,HEAVEN must fall.Seriously forgiveness is not something that is a fad among you lads. You want to DESTROY the guy, go ahead. No one will stop you.But be rest assured you and your friend could most probably be creating a more sinister and unforgiving monster as well. Are there no young women who 'knew' the man she is involved with is married yet decide to stick with him all the way.(for whatever reason??)Or you would say here you don't know there are women from your part of the country ACTIVELY involved with married men as their MISTRESSES or most probably second or third wife to be?. Well if you feel getting even by destroying him is the way,i say again go right ahead, but you must also remember, ALL OUR ACTIONS BEARS FRUITS WAITING FOR US IN THE VERY NEAR FUTURE.He will have his, while you and your friend shall have yours. enjoy your plot ![]() |
@ Op..STOP PLAYING CASUAL with issues like this.first sit down and ask yourself, how will you feel if your BF is spending weekend with your female friend or sister? After all, she's just a friend and or a sister?.If you can honestly answer this or yourself, then you know what to do.Break off or start afresh. |
CAMEROONPRIDE: . The Catholic church is satanic and barbaric..christians are brainless cows Muslim are brainless terrorists. And also imagine no traditionalist that uses HUMAN Sacrifice in BLACK MAGIC practices, or better still lets give it more "modernized terms" "Sorcery and School of Witchcraft", "Necromancers", "new Age movement", "ROF" list goes on?. Many missing people situation would not occur nor initiation into occultism. See who's making a fool of himself now by calling some religion practices, hijacked by desperate political strongholds as "brainless". |
I was even more touched and soothed when i also read this people..I am not a catholic nor from the catholic background, but this "act of fruit" displayed by the pope is worth commending. "Traditionalists in the Roman Catholic church have expressed concern after Pope Francis became the first pontiff to wash the feet of two women during a Maundy Thursday mass, a move liberals welcomed but some conservatives feared set a worrying precedent. At the Casal del Marmo youth detention centre on the outskirts of Rome, the Argentinian pope washed and dried the feet of 12 inmates as part of the traditional rite representing Jesus's final act of humility towards his disciples. He had surprised the Vatican with his decision to wash the prisoners' feet – a move that echoed the early years of John Paul II, who once performed the rite in the St John Lateran basilica with a dozen homeless men. But it was his inclusion of two young women, as well as Muslims, in the ceremony that was the most dramatic break with tradition. It even caused some traditionalists to wonder openly whether Francis, who is doctrinally a theological conservative who has explicitly stated he is against female ordination, might one day be willing to open the priesthood to women. The Vatican's spokesman Federico Lombardi insisted the rite took place in "a specific situation in which excluding the girls would have been inopportune in light of the simple aim of communicating a message of love to all". Chris Gillibrand, a British commentator, wrote on his blog, CathCon: "We will see whether it is a particular case, as Lombardi suggests, or the beginning of a journey. Given his active support for the charismatic movement in his diocese, one can only be concerned that he could be prepared to ordain women … How can the pope maintain discipline in the church if he himself does not conform himself to prevailing ecclesiastical legislation?" This was not the first time Francis had washed female feet. As Cardinal Jorge Bergoglio and archbishop of Buenos Aires, he often included women in the gesture. However as pope, his move was quietly groundbreaking. In their later years John Paul II and Benedict XVI had restricted the rite to 12 Catholic priests. I respect this POPE. |

must close shop, leave and start over somewhere else. He needs the lesson, so that he will think twice before he does this to someone else anywhere in the world. We want him on his knees.
