[7/18, 06:20] Engrjidex: You know as they call successful candidates their is no prove of evidence to show based on printed slip from portal or SMS to show that you are successful to collect your appointment letter therefore many interview applicant will be in plenty in their office because that is the easiest way to check if your name is on the list because many people will claim that they were called by DPR

Good morning ladies and gentlemen. Pls, make sure your address is verifiable so that what happens to some Akwaibom employees in 2013 won't happen to you. Letter are now in main room for official distributions. Delta got just 5 slot in 2013. They may have the lowest slot as we speak cuz they have much staff working here already. I repeat, make sure your address is verifiable.

I don't get why people are so discouraged already. Trust me ladies & guys, this thing still stands on the percentage merits. Even while people where doing their permutations up & down on this thread I was just reading silently cos at the end of the interview I knew my scores in total & knew my overall position from my state, so stakeholder or not I'm proud to say that I got this on merit base. I worked really well by the help of God to cross every stage. & yes whether stakeholder candidate or not this is a compensation to an extent for loosing my child in the course of the job interview

how did they get the total score is it average of interview score and CBT score ,secondly what is the total point alloted to interview test , your response is needed to clear the air because of a lot of permutations here since you saw it yourself , thanks a lot waiting for your immediate response

This is not done that way, interview score is much more given priority than CBT

nobody knows notveven you is only DPR HR department knows how it was done and it can never be exposed and that was why there were a lot of guesses as regards to the cumulative score statistics

You didn't lose 6 mark but rather 1 mark as GT

There's a total points for everyone is allowed to reach, The points/mark has a limit let's say 10 for you to pass your interview.

Example of Points break as follows:

Only B.Sc is 5 points
B.Sc.+M.Sc is 6 points
B.Sc + PhD is 7 points
Dressing + composure 1 point
Answer to Technical question 1 point
Answer to current affairs 1 point
Readiness (coming with your pen) 0.5 point
Professional qualification 0.5 point

if the OND guys were asked complete 50 questions in their exam and we graduate trainee and experienced hire were asked 45 questions and knowing fully well that DPR had banks of questions to set 50 questions for us then why 45 questions. In my own opinion am thinking the CBT test is 45*2= 90 points and interview score is 10 points making a total of 100 points

I left NL but was lowkey still in your lives somehow...LOL i read here sometimes and been on the watsapp grp as well.

First of all, I'm not here to water down anyone's views or debate about anything. I have read posts over the weekend and been keeping up and heres my take and what i know...
The reason we were asked to come for interview with original copies of documents and were 1st accredited before having a one on one with the interviewer is for the sole aim of matching what you say you have to your application as well as be interviewed based on it.
The moment the interviewers marked you, their scores where uploaded on the laptop in front of them immediately. GT had points for masters and additional certification but if employed they are employing you solely based on your 1st degree and as such will be placed on level 8(you can confirm this when you receive your APL). I'm saying all these to let you know the marks uploaded is then auto added to test scores and average is the only biz DPR has with you from then on( everything is over to COMPUTER) Over 4k ppl were interviewed so nobody will be checking your 1st degree/wat you applied for to give you APL (all that was the judgement of your interviewer's scoring. They won't score you well if they believe your degree does not match the role you applied for). Everything after interview was based on cross referencing scores against Federal xter policies(computer work i.e snapnet e.g top 5 scores in delta state etc). A whole lot of people had above 80% average so trust me when i say the competition was very stiff. 70% will take the grace of God unless your state ppl had lower average.
Western states LOL I'm sure yu guys are like competing on 90% average sef( kidding o)
No one, i repeat no one has been contacted yet. They have everything they want from you if not in your portal, they got it from you at interview.
Now to the issue of COC. To the best of my knowledge, COC has been issued, i realise people who have contacts at FCC are not aware of this and i can only assume there's also politics in FCC like every other coy. I believ even the committee assigned may not have had a formal deliberation on it i.e they may not have even set their eyes on the list but the COC has been issued. You need to know the list will not even reach FCC if the chairman's list had not be satisfied (be honest with yourself, he def had his own candidates too which will be a list that will also include candidates of those working around him too).
You don't have to agree with me pls. I'm only sharing what i know. I believe letters are being typed already and i will know more once work resumes back. Shakur travelled early last week for the muslim hols but i kno he had a group of people working on it and honestly nothing can happen unless he returns after the holidays (sad but true)
All is def completed on FCC part, DPR already sorted level placements of EH once the COC was issued, its all left to them to get the APLs ready and contact successfuls. I'm hopeful we would hear from them this month.
Pls i don't share what i don't hear directly from the source which is why i don't mention dates unless i hear an affirmative date.

All I've typed is all i know for now(pls don't flood my email, pls don't bombard me with questions) I will get back once i hear anything new after work resumes. No, i don't know if my name is on the list (LOL)
Stop worrying about local govt, merit, etc. If its yours, no one can take it from you. Afterall there is nothing you can do anymore aside hope for the best.

how were the 45 questions asked during the CBT exam converted to 100% because someone who got43/45 in the CBT exam when converted to 100% will get 95.55555555 will DPR stick to an aggregate score comprise of rounding up values. Needs your quick response to that . once more welcome back to the nairaland thread after sabbatical leave from the thread

I’ve given a clue in my previous post. People on this thread have questions that needs answers. I just did the needful. Some persons have checked their names on the list, I suggest you do same and worry less about a specified date. The date you seek will not make any difference.

I can categorically tell you that call wasnt from DPR. Anything that makes them call anyone now, it’s to collect APL. The stage of what course did you do is over. List done and dusted already.

There were so many things involved during the selection process. It wasn’t an easy one. Don’t worry so much about your profile. I just shared what took place within that period of time. It’s possible you and the four other persons made the list. Just be optimistic.

Don’t be over confident about your performance. Most people aced the interview, but some were dropped due to other factors I mentioned in my previous posts.

some persons who didn't get the update message before the interview were later sent to them to update their portals when they have already finished their interview in the first week likewise this one some persons might equally be sent emails and messages to update their portals when appointment letters has been issued to them, and finally the easiest means of contacting candidates since the inception of the recruitment has been through the portal, SMS and emails . I hereby looks forward to await the D day when the appointment letters will roll out to successful candidates and on that day we will surely know the persons giving us information/informations here in nsiraland that hit the nail at the head and the person will be duly rewarded and respected . thanks

why I asked you this question is because about four persons from this nairaland including myself had issues of documents missing in our profile and misplacement of another persons document and none has been contacted on phone to update and those guys are batch A including myself and I performed very well both in the exam.and in the interview likewise them does it shows we are not in the final list and finally if the list comes out and we all make it what will be your final assertion and conclusion .I suggest you get accurate information whether if calls were actually made for portal update or is yet to be made because if finally I made the final list at last I will still point your answer to my question that those who were not called to update their portals didn't make the final list . thanks needs your response in anticipation

what if the person is later sent email or SMS to update his or her portal and secondly what if the person finally makes the final list and lastly how are you sure that they have contacted everybody whose documents are missing in their profile . thanks needs quick response in anticipation

what about someone whose uploaded documents were initially three before that Friday they update portal and after update of portal the uploaded documents reduced to two and one document was missing and since then the person has not be contacted for update what does that signifies , needs your quick response thanks in anticipation

I don't think so; the guy can't be OND. Do you think DPR can pay up to 260k as monthly salary to an OND intake?

even you too can differentiate between a BSC and OND when you even applied for the recruitment in October 2016 it has showed how your understanding and low observance will be rated

Technical officers, administrative and other officers are all OND positions in DPR check back to advert on October 2016 and clarify yourself

Laboratory officer is OND successful candidate
