iPhone isn't light years ahead of anything. The reason they are good as they are is that they restrict you to their own ecosystem. Where they control what goes in and out. The case is different from android and windows which allows pretty much everything stress-free. There is something relaxing about being able to do the simplest of things seamlessly.

I am a programmer and a gamer. That's a combination you cant achieve on mac alone. I literally play powerful games like Red dead redemption 2, AC Vahalla, the new Forza Horizon 5, and many more on my windows pc, something you can never achieve on any MacBook alive. The only reason I am even considering getting a mac is because of IOS app development that's it!

I always send stuff from my phone to pc constantly. I don't need to be switching on a hotspot to use xender or some shit to send stuff to my windows every time. Who has time for that nonsense!

Apple products are great if you and people around you live in their ecosystem and have a lot of their devices.

Why do you think MacBooks are nowhere to be found at the mention of 'games' Simple answer, they're not good enough for graphic demanding games and they don't have a large library of games. The "open source" you mentioned is a problem to MacBooks because its non-existent. With windows, you have a lot of freedom and you can download from unofficial sources, apply mods and patches and all sort of fun stuff, plus a lot developers and a colossal game library.

It's actually a developer that cares about open source softwares. And if you know anything about the development world you will know open source has help so many code base. The node.js many developers use today was as a result of what some one else did on it. Because it was open source. Node.js when it was made wasn't even close to what it is today.

Open source code base are a joy but can be a pain as well. But fortunately the programing community is one of the best. You use Google products on your iPhone because Google has made them so. They ain't as closed as apple. Apple don't this because they want to keep the isheeps stucked in the ecosystem and give them this feeling of exclusiveness. The best they've done is to release Apple music on Playstore.

Speaking of ecosystem, Apple isn't the only who's got one. With a Pixel phone or any Android phone, a Chromebook Pc, Google Nest speakers, an Android wearable, an Android TV, Pixel buds, you've got yourself an Android ecosystem, which is just as good as Apple's. It all just boils down to preference.

There's absolutely nothing to feel superior about because Google/android literally has its own ecosystem.

Slow pace as in, character exploitation and development, plot development and all. They just started running away from extremely fast crazy creatures, in the midst of all that, they trying to expose us to the character and environment is taking forever and the CGI weak me die, as in really. I think I see something like legends of the seeker vibe in it though. I love crazy script writing, plot twist, unpredictable story and suspense. Sorry my bad, let me go and rewatch it, i just recovered from a very beautiful creative work

That's one thing I appreciate about the series so far. The fact that the dark one didn't pull his punches in hunting them down as we see in so many fantasy series. He literally sent an army from the get-go. Obviously, when you are on the run there's no time for much chit chat but I feel they have given us just the right amount of info on the main characters to move the story along. You have to note it's a whole new world you can't expect to fully grasp it all in just 3 episodes. Give it time, The CGI could be better but it isn't that bad. I am just not personally feeling the acting so far. Hopefully, it gets better. Take your time get an idea of the history and you will be good to go. I feel the writers so far assume most people know the history or have an idea of it, probably why they haven't fully explained it all. It's definately possible that they will explain more in the future episodes.

Just because you don't understand what is going on doesn't make it slow pace. WOT was literally on the move from episode 1. I cant fathom how you tag it slow pace. And you can easily help yourself by checking on youtube for a summary of the book. I didnt read the book at all but I have a rough idea of what is going on because I watched summaries of the books on youtube. Heck I even know which of the five is the dragon self. Bro!!! The Series is too interesting that you have to pay attention to details, like names, events and understand what is actually going on. The series isn't just about action, it's very detailed.
Most people might watch it without even understanding what is going on and names of the people they are seeing.

Mehnnn!!!! The series is top notch and i will continue with the rest two episodes today and as for gayyy scenes, non so far.

One thing i have noticed about fantasy and adventure Series is that, most of them have zero gay scenes and even if there is a gay scene, they just show it like for a few seconds and that's it.

This is why i love adventure, fantasy and historical series a lot because it makes no Sense showing gayyy scenes from series that portrays like 500 to 1000 years ago because back then, homosexuality wasn't a thing, though people might do it but in secret because if you do It and you are caught, you get burnt at the stake, it is regarded as almost the same as witchcraft.

So shooting an historical, fantasy, adventure Series that portrays the olden days with gayyy scenes,, actually makes no sense, it defeats the purpose of history.

The wheel of time timeline is actually several years in the future. So gay scenes shouldn't be out of place.

When you watch the series you will know I didn't spoil anything. The very first time you see this particular Aiel he is dead already. You won't even care about himself because he is not important. You probably won't even pick up on the fact that he is an Aiel self. You might just see oh a dead person hanging and move. So calm ur horses!

It's very much a good series. But some of the acting looks a little bit out of place to me . They also kind of use modern day slangs, which was weird given the fact its set in the medieval period. But then again, events in the series occurred several years in the future, so they can get a pass for that. I don't know but there's just something missing from it so far and it kinda feels like a cw show in a way.

But all in all so far it's been good. It's just 3 episodes in, it could get better. I am just a bit curious about the Aiel that was killed and hung. I heard they are incredibly deadly. Surprise those town folks killed one.

The series definitely has potential, it could really be something or it could crash and burn, only time will tell.
