When Jesus called out to people to come and follow him, they did...and were changed. Yes...something happened to the people that Jesus called. They were called out of sin, and called into the Light that is in the world. Zaccheus returned his stolen money. Saul went from being a persecutor of the Church to being a champion of the Church. Peter went from being a scared person to being a champion of the Cross.

This story shows that the Nigerian Church, here represented by Living faith has a problem. People are joining Living faith....and are not being changed. This Army Officer joined Living Faith. If God had changed him, he won;t have been this corrupt. That he is a member of Living faith, and his faith is ''dead'' shows that there is something wrong with the message that Church is preaching.

Of course, this may be the way God is exposing sinners in the church...like he did for Ananias and Sapphira....and like he did for Achan in Joshua's day. As Christians...we should not let sin in....or Sin's master Satan will follow and set up house, and mess us up.

But this is not the first time. Today, we have many people in churches...not just Living faith, but in Believers Loveworld, RCCG, Deeper life, CAC, Apostolic Faith, yes even Anglican, Roman Catholic, Cherubim and Seraphim.....even Adventists and Jehovah's witnesses....who all claim to be following Christ...and yet are not reflecting Jesus in their attitudes and their lives. We have Christians today who lie, cheat, steal, are tribalists, vandalise other people's property, bear false witness, hate their enemies, call for violence against unbelievers and so on. This shows that the Church is not doing its work well at all. We don't have followers of Christ....we have followers on.

The name Christian came about because in a town called Antioch in what is now Syria nearly 2000 years ago, people looked at this strange and interesting group of people and noted that they all reflected Christ. Hence the name Christian. But here in Nigeria it has become a label. We carry our church membership the way the world supports football teams or fashion labels, we look holy on Sunday....and on every day of the week, we act and behave like Lucifer's brightest recruits.

Time the Church of God in Nigeria woke up. We must return to our first love. We must take up our crosses and nudus nudum Christum sequi

How can many leave the matter on ground and be discussing Winners Chapel. This shows how idiotic some people are and this is why Nigeria will not get better soon. Next year they will still budget money for those things. And nobody, the auditor general of the federation will not ask his team to audit where all the money leaving the govt going and if they are utilized appropriately.
Meanwhile, they converted the money to dollars awaiting shipping to the US. I am sorry for Nigeria. The little you and I make are carted to abroad and yet Nigeria depletes in economy because money has one source in and different sources out rather than recycling the money.
A time will come Nigeria will not have money again because no money in the system to churn-in & out. And all these people who took the money outside will think they will live and die abroad. They are just using your money to feed the US citizens and when the time comes, you will either become a slave working in a warehouse, or a refugee in another country. Because, whether you like it or not, n America, the system is built to circulate the money between the poor and the middle class. If you choose to do business in Nigeria, ok nah, means you will still come back to Nigeria and you will face the hardship, otherwise people will not buy your products because there is no money in the system.

If you tell me that these beliefs are no longer tenable in Nigeria, I will agree with you. In US and UK, educated people with certificates dominate the best positions in the industries. In fact, people work hard to study more abroad because they will have stable and more paying jobs than the uneducated. To confirm these, log into LinkedIn and check administrative and engineering officers in jobs and check their qualifications. It may delay because you will have a job. In Nigeria, corruption has blinded overwhelmed every principle. Even the principles of economics are no longer valued because a few persons have these monies in their pockets.

Living by rules makes us humans and coordinated. However, they are guiding rules to enable you think straight. However, most people misunderstood it to be mean commands. Rules are not commands. Computers operate with commands but recent computers now operate with instructions in form of logics which makes computers more flexible and adaptable to humans today. Remember the days of DOS commands and today we have SMART computers. Therefore, if there are no rules, we are savages.

Job hunting is still valid today. But most people confine themselves in a single job hunt. A hunter who goes to the bush has in mind he may catch any kind of animal right? But if he put his mind on catching elephant, he will never catch one. But not to say he didn’t find meat. So, when graduates go into job market to hunt, they should bear in mind that they can do more than they studied in school. Hunting a job also means that you can discover a new thing you can do on your own and not necessarily becoming an employee.
I always ask people, if I give you 10 million and ask you to retire would you do so and these questions get people thinking about their pension, 401K, etc. therefore, the money you save today with someone (govt) is not a retirement package for someone who wants to live well in retirement. If you have one job today, in your retirement you should have at least 3 sources of income i.e. Pension, investment & pension. So, you must start thinking of these three sources from the first day you receive your paycheck as an employee.
You are correct that capital is not required to start a business but there is some point you need huge capital to survive in business otherwise, someone will take your business and develop beyond you.

It's a crazy leadership in Nigeria. We are all told to be praying for our leaders but at this point, I have to choose to pray for myself and family because the leaders you are praying for are resistant to turnaround. It is like trying to stop a man from drinking while he is still in the bar. First you bring him out from the bar before stopping him from drinking. Until our leaders realize that the country is in recession and something positive has to be done, we need to review what we will be praying for on their heads.

This is crazy, This is similar to budget padding. How can students be paying for health insurance, municipal charges when they do not get it?
The SUG also get huge amount of money just to pay students we all came to school to learn just because they represent us.
Abeg, make them reduce all those things. Are students the ones paying for the services rendered by the staff unions?

Often times, the wiser way is to find your way in first then work hard to become the best and then you can renegotiate your salary, then you are indispensable.
