Come to think of it, i have not seen anything wrong with Buhari's appointment so far.

If he allow people like Ameachi to be SGF, we will still be the one to attack him that why must he appoint Ameachi when he's facing Wike's probe panel.

My opinion sha.

And Amechi is the only southerner in Nigeria abi?

Business / Re: Why Do We Collect ATM Transaction Receipts Only To Dump Them? (PIX) by JJahzwill(m): 9:08am On Jun 18, 2013
What's with the 'ATM machine' error on this thread? It's AT machine or ATM because that acronym stands for Automated Teller Machine so when you type or say ATM machine, you're in essence saying 'Automated Teller Machine machine'. #justsaying#

Celebrities / Re: Paris Jackson Attempts Suicide by JJahzwill(m): 11:39am On Jun 06, 2013
Are we really surprised that this is coming from the daughter of the King of Pop... and DRAMA? Like really? The Jacksons are such suckers for attention and the sooner this teenager is out of the news and on the couch of a therapist, the better off we would all be.

Ps: how screwed up do you have to be to screw up a suicide?
Nairaland / General / Re: Our Biggest Fear ? (Pictures) by JJahzwill(m): 7:44am On Jun 01, 2013
1. DEATH: I'm not afraid of death per se just the realization, when the time comes, that I'll die in a few seconds! That fear consumes me! I pray I die in my sleep.
2. AFTERMATH OF DEATH: I am not an atheist (I'm more or less an agnostic) but I have often wondered at the certitude of Christians at the existence of heaven and hell and to me, it is just not plausible. I don't understand why human beings, only because of our more developed brain, would 'invent' the concept of heaven and hell and exclude other animals therefrom. That's just silly and inordinately ambitious. So I'm creeped out by the fact that after death, everything will be quiet, bland, bleak!
3. BEING AND DYING ORDINARY: At this point in my life, I'm pretty ordinary but I try to justify my ordinary existence by claiming that 'Rome was not built in a day.' The only other person I know had this fear was Okonkwo in 'Things Fall Apart.' Achebe understood this fear well.
4. NEVER FINDING LOVE: Don't get me wrong. I've had beautiful, smart woman love me and heard them say they do but I have always loved with my head, never my heart. Of course I apply myself in all I do with my women but I'm yet to meet that lady that will change all that. I'm mortified at the possibility of that not happening.
Politics / Re: Will NTA Ever Improve Their Pictures? by JJahzwill(m): 10:30am On May 16, 2013
Everybody looks drab and sinister on NTA. I suppose the production manager or whatever designation that mediocre goes by must still be getting his smartest ideas on production from Methusella's 'TV Production For Dummies'. Whenever I tune in to that station, I get the feeling that they are more interested in broadcasting that very irritating background noise than in what any of their dull presenters have to say. And please don't get me started on that jingle for network news which is a far more suitable background song for human sacrifice! I would suppose.

Politics / Re: Human-Rights Is Silent Over Nasarawa Police Killings : Why? by JJahzwill(m): 12:12am On May 12, 2013
gangar: Human rights condemn when an authority vested with power and armed abuse those powers and kill innocent people. That is people who were legitimately enthrusted with arms and state machinery. What is there to condemn in a cult organization that is illigal and outlawed to start with. Condemning such is even giving outlawed cults legitimacy. Therefore even in such instances the police are still to condemned for not taking enough precautionary measures to protect themselves.

Oga gangar, here are some helpful tips:
1.Ease up on the gangar.
2. Read the thread carefully and slowly.
3. Let it rattle around in your brain for a while.
4. Type out your comment.
5. Run a spelling check.
6. Then submit.

Politics / Re: Jonathan To Attend Achebe’s Funeral In Anambra by JJahzwill(m): 11:14pm On May 11, 2013
Me thinks that Jonathan's attendance is in his best interest. Hopefully, he'll learn a thing or two about excellence from the life of Professor Achebe. But wait a minute, Jonathan and learning? Who am I kidding? Oga Jona o, just remember to bring the Ombatse Amnesty package, drop it off in Nassarawa and head down to Anambra.
Now trust the Southeast Governors and their lackeys to make Achebe's burial more about the reception of Mr President, 2015, political favours than Achebe himself!

Family / Re: What Bad Habits Do You Love?? by JJahzwill(m): 10:41pm On May 11, 2013
Sneezing loudly and watching everyone else in the room scamper for the door and the safety of fresh air!
Family / Re: Dirty Habits We Should Get Rid Of by JJahzwill(m): 10:25pm On May 11, 2013
1. Carrying your plate in your hand when eating in a public place when the food was actually placed on a table before you! (Is your problem greed or possessiveness?)
2. Chewing loudly! (What are you eating? Bricks?)
3. Snoring while sleeping in a public place.
(While in university, I attended my fair share of night classes and some folks made it more about listening to them snore than studies! I actually told a particularly legendary snorer that he needed surgical intervention and fast!).

Me sef get dis very dirty habit... I bite my fingernails to the quicks! I pray I drop it one day. I really do.
@ op. This piece is very like a Chris Rock clip; you laugh and learn. Thanks.

Chairman, relax abeg. Please wise one tell us,
what "yard stick" do you propose we use to tell a star that he/
she is a star? Or that he/ she is fit to pitch his own tent? Don't
you think you should leave Wizkid and others like him to be
judged by time and trend? I for one think that the destruction of
creativity begins with censorship by those who think they know
it all. Ps: if you want listen to wisdom, don't go to a club, travel
to India and met a guru!

In as much as I dnt want 2 sound as if I'm less comfortable
about another fellow's step-up, I tink I wil like to say its high
time a body is set-up which will strictly enforce criterias, rules n
regulations which wil stand as a "yard-stick" to measure
whether a muscian is "fit" enough to stand on his own and as an
employer...because the rate at which this "papa..I want to be on
my own" idea is growing among our musicians nowadays is
somehow becoming a cat n dog tin (and its not "really" helping
d production of a "quality cool" song)...to be honest, to dance to
most of naija songs nowadays, u need to filter out d sound of
the beat and snubs d lyrics cos its wacky...wisdom-defficient
decisions like his could be responsible for it.......and its not good
for the ministry! Chairman, relax abeg. Please wise one tell us, what "yard stick" do you propose we use to tell a star that he/ she is a star? Or that he/ she is fit to pitch his own tent?
