chineloSA: Well honestly I am in no position to say you will or will not get a job.
But teaching at a University requires that you have a four year Degree and not Diploma.I cannot dictate that you should apply or shouldn't apply, but bear in mind that if you have less than the minimum requirements, you are increasing the chances of being abused and being exploited.
Again bear in mind that being a Muslim does not guarantee a better life or treatment in the Kingdom, instead African Muslims and other Muslims are looked down upon.
With regards to scholarships, I would be lying if I say I know much. But at the University where I teach their intake is first Saudis, then Syrians, Egyptians and lastly Sudanese who are all dictated what they can or can't register for. Courses life medicine, engineering are reserved for Saudis. We just had our intake exams for the next academic year which starts in August.
Again majority of the courses are mostly delivered in Arabic even though textbooks are in Arabic and English. Are you fluent in Arabic
So with regards to studying and scholarship, do your research, I can't help you much because majority of such information is written in Arabic. thanks so much what about casual job, i will be given like how much per month? |

chineloSA: Thats good oo See I woke up from my bed with laughter eeehn. I was just like you before I came. I was scared to death. I knew no one before I came here.
Anyways, yes its true, woman don't drive here. Its ok for a 13yr old to drive than a 30yr old woman with a driving licence So many car accidents here, drivers are reckless because small boys are behind the steering wheel, acting as guardians to their female relatives. Thats their laws. Yes you cannot be seen with a man you are not married to in public. If you are in the same car, you should be sitting in the back seat if you are not married or else the Mutawas want to see a marriage certificate.
When we go to work there is a staff bus that shuttles between work and compounds. So that should not be a problem. When doing your private errands, the employer normally gives you shopping days and the bus takes you for shopping and drops you back to your place of residence. When you wanna go on your own, you can take a cab, but sit in the back seat, but know that its not 100% safe, anything can happen. And ISIS is here now we are told to be more vigilant as expats now. We are told never to walk alone anymore.
I am not trying to discourage you. All depends on the region. thanks for the info, i have OND in local government studie with lower credit, and also i resit for waec examination last year which i passed, can i get a job over there , i mean any kind of job , and i will be study aswell or its there any scholarship for africa student, am 22 yrs old, a muslim, and islamic studie is among my o level subject, whats my chance? |

I guess Alberta ( calgary, Edmonton, red deer, ft McMurray, grandpraire, leduc etc)is the best in terms of jobs at the moment. As I said I'm just suggesting based on experience. Thank u sir

mevisbleek: If you do not mind Sir, you can send me yours and I will be more than happy to peruse and critique as well. I would say its the same thing people use it interchangeably on this forum. Basically, you just need a letter addressed to the VO detailing : WHY THE PROGRAM, HOW THE PROGRAM WILL ASSIST YOU REACH YOUR CAREER & ACADEMIC GOAL, WHY THE SCHOOL, WHY CANADA ETC and any other good stuff you can think about that would mesmerize the VO.
I just wrote one for someone and I will be glad to send it to you bro am in need of it, and i have sent u message to your mail, kindly reply.... |

kfrosh: Dude!!! Don't be naive about the process ; take time out to decide which schools you would like to apply to and shortlist them. Look up on Google to know more about them and their recquirements. Apply to those in which you meet their requirements. Its better you apply to both competitive and less competitive schools. Now don't dream of going to Canada this year cos that's outrightly impossible . Start working against Winter intake or summer and use that time out to read lots of pages backwards. Good luck. |

It's usually around minimum wage for whatever province you are in yes and i checked manitoba minimum wages, Manitoba $ 10.70 October 1, 2014, is this amount i can make in a day or it depend on the hours of the job? |
