Doctors, Medical Laboratory Scientists and health workers whom this post is about are just reading comments and shaking their heads... There's a lot more involved than the money. If you really wanna develop in the career to where you can rub shoulders with colleagues at international levels, where do you think gives you that opportunity? Nigeria? Then you're wrong.. Surely we are trying o, but we've not gotten there yet. So let those who can go out there to develop do so, while we are here with crude techniques dated back to the 60's, the world had long moved on. Take robotic surgery for example, Take other emerging Med tech for example, take CRISPR gene editing for example and other Molecular techniques for example, we are not there yet and for practitioners who have passion and have foresight, they'd leave.

Now about the pay, it's funny how people compare, currently I work 3 jobs but my take home is not up to 500k, with terrible working conditions. No one is stupid, if the working environment, take home and savings is not meaningful, no one would leave. You don't expect him to come tell me you his take home but be rest assured that he can comfortably send up to a million Naira monthly to his parents back here in oja for their upkeep.

Not in this present age Sir. The Medical field had long advanced past the conventional Medic-patient routine and I'm embracing the development cos it's the future and fortunately that future is now.

The headquarters of Firstbank located at the Central Business District, Abuja, had been sealed up by the FCT High Court Enforcement Unit over failure to comply with a garnishee order.
It is a common way of enforcing a judgment debt and is solely used to enforce monetary judgments against a debtor to recover money.

Officials of the FCT High Court Enforcement Unit stormed the bank (Coomasie) with towing vans and cranes and towed some of its valuables.

Items carted away included stand-by generators, Hilux vans and air conditioners among other valuables.
Some staff of the bank, while reacting to the development, described it as embarrassing, saying it could have been handled differently.

The bank’s headquarters in Lagos has also failed to react to the development, as calls and text messages put across to the cell phone of an official in the Communications Unit of the bank were not responded to.

Most of the bank’s customers were seen in groups hanging outside the bank’s premises.

Thanks man, you've done a great job yourself, you can't imagine that i sat down and read every post here keenly from the first page and I'm quite certain that no matter what, a handfull will pull through if we continue this way. I already sent you a mail requesting for the C material and every other necessary materials for the first lap. The idea of the whatsapp group for the August 15th cohort is a great idea too. Got accepted this morning to start 15th August... im a Medical Laboratory Science final year student, I was wondering how I would cope when school resumes but as I saw a Law student here , engineering and the rest taking this journey I just knew it's possible for me too.. Although javascript too can come into play. There are Js libraries like Biojs for DNA sequencing.

But I strongly recommend python and since you are looking to use it in your line of study, you can go python libraries later eg: biopython for Data analysis and bio informatics
