Your money stops counting when they end the trip. For your own good, park the car when they send that, show the message to the rider, and explain that uber has ended their trip. Show them the amount they are to pay you.

"so what do I do now?" That is the next question they ask. Give them 2 options. Either they request for another uber while you patiently wait for the uber to get to you, or You start an offline trip for them right there till they get to their destination.

They will always choose the offline option. Can't count how many times it happened to me. Don't cheat yourself by ignoring that text.
Thank you so much Mr Remeo. So I drove for more than an hour for free. Is clear now, thank you sir.

It happens when you're unable to end a trip due to network failure. Uber then does this on your behalf. Just disregard it.
I was still on the trip when Uber sent the message. I didn't try to end the trip. I'm not yet clear on it bro.

I have received this message about two times now. I don't understand why they end the trip. I even saw/read the message after 1 hour and some minutes they sent it while on the trip. don't report to uber its ur gain, they will zap just 25% from d 800. But if u report they will recalculate and zap it from d actual fate
OK, though on 1.8 surge after the 25 % zapping, it would have been more than 3500. Thank you.

Carried a rider today from Ologolo lekki( apposite Agungu lekki) during morning rain, on 1.8 surge. The destination was international airport . just few minutes from pick up location my hand mistakenly touched drop button and was calculated, about 800, I didn't press complete trip, so i continued and everything seemed to be working well . when we got to international airport with heavy oshodi traffic,I pressed drop button and fare calculated the same 800 . The rider gave me 3500. I don't know if i should report to uber or leave it like that.

Thanks, I thought comprehensive insurance works when the damage affects the car body not just windscreen. And does insurance cover apply in that kind of circumstance(I mean what caused the windscreen to break)? Anyway, the car comprehensive insurance expired few months ago. Thanks for the information and recommendation .

And I picked a rider from unilag to apapa at 9:25pm. We jammed traffic on apapa bridge. As I write the rider has absconded with my money while in traffic and I'm still here. This business ehh. I just wanna go home. Worst experience.
Yes , the business is somehow, risky, yesterday an area boy around Iju ishaga used stick and broke my windscreen. He was walking in front of me and the area is crowded , my bumper hit him a little. I was saying sorry and begging him from inside the car before he hit my windscreen. At the time I thought it was a small thing. Now the lines is so many and every where. So my brother at least you went home with your car intact. Because of this issue yesterday, I come dey think whether God really dey or care grin. . imagine what people driving for others can be going through, Oga may not hear that one. Cheers!

If you can get sound tokunbo one, is better. The new ones in my experience can serve you for a little while . Then when it's hot car will begin jerking and off. My experience however.

[quote author=alstarmayo post=62871712]All those happened because the drivers didn't save. If you can save to buy a car while on rental, you can also save for car maintenance and hp payment while on HP contract. Considering the fact that you pay same amount for rental and HP.
whatever week you have downtime, you take from your savings to fix the car and make hp payment, the guy that was making 170 to 180k everyweek should have atleast 250k in savings at the end of the month

the Toyota engines with the D4 technology are good but the D4 technology has issues and when it starts, there are little known information about it so could pose a headache to technicians just like the Mitsubishi GDI engines.

if changing it won't be too expensive and the technician can have a successful operation then you can go ahead.
OK, thank you. I pray the new engine serves me well. Can you recommend oil? I used Total quartz 5000 once after installing the engine. I just did second service and changed to Total quartz 7000 because I noticed 5000 was reducing gradually. However the first two lines of your reply is a bit hard to understand. You said Toyota D 4 Engine are good and then they have issues. can you explain more ?. Thank you sir.

Hello Nurey, 9icetoo etc.

My engine is D4 vvti (petrol/fuel) on my avensis 2003. I just bought and installed another D4 vvti after issues with the first one. The mechanic I use advised I convert to another engine type but I refused. Any advice for me.

The word "Eden" is an Hebrew word for "where God dwells", so the first thing God gave man was "His Presence".

(1)So the first thing a man needs is NOT a woman; it is the presence of God, and a woman should meet him in the presence of God. Eve met Adam in Eden.

(2)The next thing God gave man after putting him in the Garden was WORK. (Gen. 2:15). God gave man work before giving him a woman. That means a man needs a job before he gets a woman. God's priorities are very clear.

(3)The third thing God told man was "Cultivate"...... Cultivate here means, bring out the best in everything around you, to maximize the potentials of everything and everyone around you; to make everything fruitful. He only said that to the male. That's why God will never give a man a finished woman. The male was created by God to create whatever he wants. The woman you are looking for doesn't exist; she's in your head. Your job is to take the raw material you married and cultivate her into the woman in your head. So you have been married for 20yrs and you still don't like the product you get, that's your fault.
(3a)If your wife is putting a little weight and you don't like that, don't criticize her; it's your job to wake her at 6am, " Hey baby, let's go jogging".
(3b)You don't like her dress? Take her to a boutique and buy her clothes you like.
(3c) She can't speak good English? Send her to school and pay her tuition fee. CULTIVATE HER!!!!

(4)The fourth thing God said to man was, "Guard the Garden". The man has to be the protector of everything under his care. That's why God gave you a stronger bone frame. A bigger muscle mass, not to abuse the woman, but to protect the woman.

(5)The last thing God gave man was his Word... God told man not to touch the tree; God never told the woman about the tree, NEVER!!!..... Which means it was the man WHO received the word of God and his job was to teach his wife the word of God.

NOTE: Nothing frustrates a woman like when she asks her man "So what do you think" and the dummy answers "what ever you think is OK"....or keeps quiet. ..Giving Silence...mmmm.
Don't do that bro, don't do that. She's looking for knowledge and direction. That was the last command God gave to man in Vs 17.
★Now watch this: in verse 18, God said, "It is not good for this man to be alone". Now, don't just read the statement fast, read it again slowly, " it is not good for THIS MAN to be alone".
WHAT MANhuh
Answer : The man who is:
*In his presence
*Has a job (working)
*Can Cultivate you
*Can protect you
*Can teach you.
So here's the problem:

★ if you meet a man who doesn't like God's presence, isn't working, can't cultivate you, can't protect you and can't teach you, then.....
IT IS GOOD FOR THAT MAN TO BE ALONE! *Full Stop*
