lionel4power: the hind can absorb more damages
however, its lack of advanced sensory and limitations in its flight characteristics is a turn off. Although the cheap price makes up for it. the rooivalk on the other hand is big and as such its armor should be 'big' too but that's not the case. I understand that its solves this problem by using long range weapons.
. when the NAF made attempt at the turkish T129 I was ecstatic because it would ha e complemented our hind handsomely. As far as I know the Rooivalks armour is not mentioned on any website.....so I did you come to your conclusion? Btw we might have to move this to the discussion page! We all know what happens when there is a Mi35 Vs Rooivalk comparison! |

Covert1: A good thing u believe. Let's not delude ourselves about cordiality with the US. If it is we would be in the F-35 program. Obama' America did Nigeria ill. In international politics there are only interests. These interests dictate diplomacy btw states and which determines military co-operation in training, combat, assets acquisition and tech transfer. I refrain from putting too much out there but u put two and two together. He was African with Swahili antecedents (think of the reaction of some here and if u have being abroad think of the reaction of some Africans to u as Nigerian) and surrounded by the likes of Biden formerly chairman of US senate foreign committee who saw Africa as backwater (forget all the smiling in the camera when we go there). His administration had a particular disdain for Nigeria. He never visited Nigeria, Africa's most important country. Trump understands that. Infact during his call with President Buhari we are told Trump asked him how many people you have in Nigeria and he was momentarily quiet on phone when Buhari told him and he was even more shocked when told by aides Nigeria's population will exceed America' in the coming years. Trump quietly told Buhari we will give you everything you need. But guess what the knives are out again in congress and we know what sentiments is driving it, you should know. Nigeria under Buhari is waiting for no one. For him Nigeria must act the giant that it is whatever the opposition. He has and is investing massively in Nigeria' military industrial complex. So to cut the preamble and to ur question: A lot of modern armour is presently pouring into Nigeria. It is segmented. This is open source intelligence and I'll leave it here. Nigeria's defence minister Dan-Ali was in Russia and following on his heels was the foreign minister Onyema a very important factor in weapons export, all of this in the last 2 months. The Su-30++++ etc are renegotiated deals from the Jonathan years. It was never canceled. Can you please move this to the discussion thread!! |

ActivateKruger: The only giant you're is the giant of cassava consumption.
You're economically invaded and besieged by South Africa. South Africa is fast putting it's nails in your economy.
The future world doesn't involve mass labour, it involves automation, digital crypto currencies generated by high electricity output something South Africa clearly has an advantage of 10 times than Nigeria. This is not the 20th century where bigger populations meant mass markets and mass labour. The new workforce in the next 2 decades is AI and high business taxation to provide Universal Basic Income.
You have a very high population, low tax collection rate, low HDI. You won't be able to provide UBI to your mass population..... Another Boko Haram will be born.
South Africa has a low fertility rate, higher HDI (better literacy and better education) and therefore producing better citizens for the new age economy. Not on bro!!! Not on! |

GreenandGold: I wouldn't want to risk their jobs. They could have posted on the reckless thought that the bosses don't even know what Instagram is. However, I am keeping for the pics for my own personal collection. Photos of training or on deployment yes......photos of Recce posing for a photo at Huntex......not so much |

GreenandGold: Actually I have found a stash of the Recce pictures, their faces clearly showing but I'm not telling... I even have one dude driving a Hornet like he's going to check on his girlfriend
Some show their private lives outside camp. These guys have cool private lives. I'm sure those guys know the rules with regards to posting pictures............if it's posted on social media like FB, Instagram ect you are free to share it, and even show their faces, they wouldn't pose for a selfie if they weren't aloud to be photographed!! |
