Ogene001:You're doing a great disservice to Peter Obi with posts like this. I'm sure that Peter Obi will not make the above comment. Politics is not nzogbu nzogbu. Igbos don't have the number to win the presidential election alone! The earlier some of us understand that fact the better for us. We should go to the other tribes in humility and seek their supports if we want to hold the office of Nigerian presidency. Which yeye "fall inline and take the credit instead of having their ego bruised" are you spewing there It seems you underrate the political strength of the north! |

Even if he served the US Navy for a short while, I'm sure he was fulfilled and would want to reincarnate as an American if such opportunity exists. Nigeria is failing many of her citizens. A country where you cannot apply for a role in any of the government agencies and be taken on merit unless you know any of the top politicians. Many Nigerians are ready to renounce the country like this comrade if they get a chance to leave. It's unfortunate RIP, comrade. 5 Likes |

AndrewTate:Stop post trash here! Your types are the ones who embolden women to misbehave because you absolve them of responsibilities to their actions. Nonsense! Let me correct this errorneous belief today: WOMEN ARE NOT CHILDLIKE LIKE THIS YEYE POSTER TYPED UP THERE. Therefore they shouldn't be treated like children but should be held accountable for their actions like every other adult human. They are not less intelligent than men, instead some are smarter than some men.. when a woman wants to deal with a man, she's very decisive and does not show any iota of pity, so there's no need to treat them with levity or show them unmerited kindness. Women have wreaked many men all over the world. They have thrown men out of their houses and into the jail on flimsy excuses. They have poisoned many men to untimely deaths for little or no serious provocation. They have made men raise other men's children via paternity frauds. The list endless! A people capable of the above actions cannot be said to be innocent and deserving of any special favourable treatments from the menfolk. Op, I wouldn't know why you're guilt stripping yourself for doing what was clearly the right thing to do at that time. You didn't do any wrong for sending her out of your house when she could not grant your little request of leaning on her shoulder for consolations due to your loss. The lady is obviously SELFISH and you should stop spending your resources on her. She isn't worth it! 1 Like |

Bfly:Kids born in this generation are generally smarter because right from the cradle, they're are already being exposed to knowledge via cartoons, early formal education, computers and games. All these help to develop their brains unlike children of the past generations who never had all the aforementioned... 5years old kids of today are more mentally developed than even 10years of the past years. 3 Likes |

christejames:You're very correct. If you observe, there's a rise in atheism among youths of this generation. This is because children are almost born smart from the womb these days, so many of them cannot just rationalize the whole concept of God, Bible, miracles etc. The whole thing sounds gibberish in the minds of these smart kids. This is bound to get worse as the next generation of smart kids are born. Honestly, Christianity needs to reinvent itself and do away with the obvious fallacies that can easily be detected by sound minds otherwise, the religion is bound to go extinct in a short while. 3 Likes |

I hope those of you who are always quick to advise guys to marry their age mates can now see why it is not possible to marry ones age mate? Women are always ready before their age mates. Most of my female age mates are married with children unlike the males. The age gap between most men and their wives is usually an average of 10years Meanwhile, the girl was very right in advising the boy to focus on his studies and find his feet first before considering relationship 1 Like |

Kobojunkie:You're not in Nigeria therefore, you are not in touch with the realities of men/women love relationships in Nigeria. You always view people here in Nigeria with same lens you view those in your immediate environment. Those of you who have lived your lives abroad are not in any position to give advice on relationships in Nigeria. There's a whole lot of cultural difference between Nigerians and people in your immediate environment. For instance, you maybe shocked to notice that a greater number of Nigerian ladies in Nigeria won't support the idea of their husbands staying around to bond with children instead of being out there working his butt off to make alot money for the family. 5 Likes |

Op, that attitude is not peculiar to those selling food! It's a general thing among the Yorubas and even those from the Naija Delta region. Trading is not their thing so they don't know how to pamper customers. Only the Igbos and Hausas understand trading and how to retain customers, especially the Igbos. I remember my encounter when I went to Benin for the first time. Most times when I entered a shop owned by the Bini natives, it was always like I quarreled with them before. If you ever try to bargain on a price of an item, they'll look at you with so much disdain as if you committed an offence for trying to bargain the price they told you. But when I entered a shop owned by an Igbo person, he/she will treat you with so much dignity and respect that you'll want to patronize them next time. That was when I got to know the reason why Igbos are succeeding in trading in this country. It is due to good customer relationships! No juju there 6 Likes 2 Shares |
Romance / Re: As a Rich Guy, Planning To Settle Down With a Broke Girl, You Are A Coward by Jman06(m): 7:13pm On Mar 22 |
Some guys want to marry younger girls in their 18 to 22 who are still virgins! If marrying poor girls from poor families is the price they have to pay to marry such girls, then so be it. It is allowed! There are numerous benefits from marrying such young virgin girls, only those who are knowledgeable enough will understand these benefits. In most cases, the rich ladies (especially those in their 30s upwards) are not submissive to their men. This is aside the fact that conception in women generally become more difficult as they age. So, I'll rather marry that young virgin who is more likely to bear me healthy kids and also submit to me than marrying the rich 30+ women. Also, women tend to generally expect their men to be the sole providers in their homes. Such expectation cuts across all age groups of women. So, that rich 30+ lady would still expect you to solely provide for her. If that be the case, I'll rather marry the younger girl who meets my own amorous desires in women and then work very hard to provide for her and my kids. 4 Likes |

RisenObinna:Premeditated murder attracts the death sentence. Nothing like personal beef here! All the judgements delivered by judges are based on written rules in law books. Like people already said here, the guy should have waited until he catches them in the act before striking. That would have earned him a lighter sentence. |
Family / Re: Husband Sues Wife For Allegedly Getting Pregnant For Another Man Twice by Jman06(m): 4:59pm On Mar 21 |
Women are getting more heartless with every passing day! A man would love a lady to the point of honouring her with a marriage only for the lady to end up disrespecting him by sleeping with those men who didn't consider her worthy of marriage in the first place. To make matters worse, they get impregnated while having such extramarital affairs and pin the pregnancy on their poor husbands (cuckold) 3 Likes |

Ugwuoke347:Keep lying to yourself in an attempt to justify your paycheck from Gburugburu, you can only deceive the gullible not the smart ones! I'm one person that knows how to give credits to performing leaders but Ugwuanyi didn't try in Enugu hence there's nothing to praise him about. Mind you, I don't hate him as a person, in fact, I see him as a good man who just doesn't know how to govern but sees politics and political offices as an opportunity to loot funds. He simply lacks leadership acumen and there's no sugarcoating it. I know that the aim of all the image laundering you're doing here is probably to repackage the man again for 2027 senatorial contest. That is left for the people of Enugu north senatorial zone to decide whether to give their senatorial mandate to Gburugburu or to reelect the vibrant Okey Ezeah who has successfully proven his mettle just within a few months of being in the Senate. |

Luchitec:He wants us to suddenly develop amnesia and agree with his false claims that Ugwuanyi turned Enugu into a Dubai in Africa. I know that Nigerians are quick to develop amnesia and forget all the ills of their past leaders but in the case of Ugwuanyi, people would hardly forget. So, op should give up the futile attempt at laundering the image of the Orba Nsukka man because it's a very difficult task to undertake. |

Romance / Re: You Are Not A Man If You Are Concerned About Your Woman’s Earnings – Saida Boj by Jman06(m): 10:12am On Mar 20 |
Nonsense! Unless we go back to full patriarchal system where women's roles end in the kitchen and taking care of the house, wise men must care about their wives earnings! You cannot be enjoying equal opportunity with men in education and employment and then cajole men into believing that they shouldn't care about their woman's earning. When there's equal opportunity to both gender, how would men survive being sole providers even when their wives compete favourably in making money Do men have a different wage structure from women? Do y'all even think at all This is why there's so much distortion in our family system today. If we want to be traditional, let's have all women go back to where tradition places them which is the kitchen and let men alone work! You can't have your cakes and eat it. Women like this are the reason why I sometimes want to support the Taliban Muslims in Afghanistan. 4 Likes 2 Shares |

Politics / Re: Ugwuanyi: A Good Man Turns 60 - Louis Amoke by Jman06(m): 9:40am On Mar 20 |
There is nothing interesting about Ugwuanyi! He left Enugu worse than he met it. He was the only governor who segregated other parts of Enugu from all his few projects and made sure he concentrated everything in Nsukka. Even employment was reserved only to Nsukka people while other zones were left to die in unemployment! Go to ESUT, Parklane and other establishments owned by the state, 90% of the active staff are from Nsukka, thus giving the erroneous impression that other zones are not educated or are not qualified to be employed. During Chimaroke's reign as governor, at least you could point at projects he did in Nsukka, but Ugwuanyi is a different kettle of fish as he conveniently neglected other zones outside Nsukka. I'm not typing these facts because I hate Nsukka people, after all, I have some great guys from there as friends. But it must be pointed out that Ugwuanyi was the most clannish governor Enugu state has had. I just wish Peter Mbah could have the courage and political will to balance things in the state and make other zones feel a sense of belonging. Anyways, happy birthday to the Amorphous Mass of Protoplast(AMP) according to late Chuba Okadigbo (paraphrased by Dr Chimaroke Nnamani). 2 Likes |
Celebrities / Re: Amaechi Muonagor Begs For Financial Support For Kidney Transplant In India by Jman06(m): 9:12am On Mar 20 |
Nawao There's generally poor health-seeking attitudes among Nigerians. That's one reason why life expectancy is abysmally low. Nigerians walk around with roof-top blood pressures and the result is the frequent slumping and dying trend in the country and strokes like the case of Amaechi Monagor et al. In a country where tension is so high due to poverty and declining standards of living, with little to nothing that make people happy, poor health becomes the order, especially where government fails to make healthcare a top priority. Quick recovery to you, sir. 3 Likes |

No mention was made about her marital life o, if she was a man, they'll tell us "he's married with children", why can't they state it here that she failed in the aspect of marriage and keeping a family The double standard with which men are treated in this world ehn. If it is not okay for a man to hold leadership position without being married, why should a woman? When a man becomes successful in life, he picks up a wife, but when a woman becomes successful, she feels she doesn't need a man. Congratulations to her though. 1 Like |

Which one is the girlfriend was believed to be underaged compared to the man's age Foolish people trying to give a different meaning to legal age of consent! Nonsense! Provided the girl is up to age of consent (18years), it is nobody's business the age of the man she chooses to date or marry! You people like to flex your muscles when such happen down south but would lose your voices when northern men marry even girls below age of consent. I'll personally sue anybody who interferes or says rubbish to me for dating or marrying a younger girl (18 and above). If the courts refuse to punish such person to my satisfaction, I'll take it up further by using any means to deal with that person. Provided I have not forced the girl into the relationship and she's up to the legal age, it is nobody's business the age gap between us. My only problem is with their choice of meeting in the bush. The man should have at least paid for a hotel room. 1 Like |

Emu4life:Christian universities are doing to which Muslims in south Most universities in the south allow freedom of worship on campus to both Christians and Muslims. Mention any university in the south where Muslims are being discriminated! It's appalling that education is not really changing the mindset of most Nigerians, especially northerners! That is why Deborah's classmates could kill her despite being their own classmate! University students for that matter! I wonder why we still vote so much money into education in Nigeria when it is obvious that it is not having much impacts on improving people's minds. Too many supposedly educated people yet with the mindset of animals! 1 Like |
