It is your choice to go for women who work or not. But since you advocate for marrying teenagers, why won't you provide for her?

Once again, take your complaints to the women you open doors for. You guys have so much good women in your lives, but are perpetually obsessed with the actions of "pseudo feminists".

Please go and marry foreign women. They love black men.
No Poco, I want to marry you so that you can change my OT grin cool cheesy. I don't belong to team white girls!

I don't need to start because he has no semblance to you that delights in whining on Nairaland. He also knows bride price is a symbol of commitment. Not a proof of ownership. If you don't want to pay, there are many women willing to cohabit. There are also men that can marry you. Stop acting like you must pay bride price. Options abound!

Then stop opening. They didn't force you. Or take your complain to the women you opened door for. You didn't open door for any feminist and 99.9% of Nigerian men do not open car doors for women.
You see, you now termed it symbol of commitment! Incase you don't know, bride price is symbol of ownership in our African setting. That is a man's wife is seen as his property. The white people you copy in your feminism nonsense don't pay bride price. Feminists in the western world don't relax their aszes and expect men to carry their responsibilities like the pseudo feminists in Nigeria.

Don't worry poco my love, I'm ready to bend my rules, open car doors for you and also pamper you in many other ways. You know I love you.

It is your fellow men constituting nuisance by robbing and making earth inhabitale. It is your fellow men that created bride price and are the recipient. Men makeup 98% of lawmakers. So if you guys are tired of paying bride price, please abolish it. If you are tired of going to war, stop causing trouble. You are not going out to fight women. But men like you that you never call to order until they become national demons.

Most households in Nigeria are two income. The few that are one income most times have the woman handling the home.

Pseudo feminist indeed. Like he has ever opened a car door for a puppy, let alone woman.
When Queen Elizabeth 1 sent British soldiers to invade and conquer Nigeria, I guess she was a man? Nations go to wars and for different reasons and women can also instigate wars.

You can start your feminism by telling your father and his kinsmen not to collect bride price whenever you're getting married.

I have opened car doors for my women on several occasions and I have also pampered them in many other ways. So, I wonder how you managed to know that I have never opened car doors for a woman.

Wrong advice. Not for a serious relationship. If you truly want something long term, using material things to win a girl will be the dumbest thing a guy will ever do.

If it is a lady you want to have a one night stand with, you can use material things to lure her. But op wants something genuine. He wants to be loved for who he is not what he has.

A lady that you will like to spend the rest of your life with, never use material things and money to win her. So that tomorrow if the money is not there, she will still be able to love you and stay with you.

One night stand? Yes, your advice will work for that. Serious relationship? No, it will work but the lady will just be with you cuz of what she is getting from you. What is the essence then?

It makes no real sense for guys that really want pure genuine love
Are you married? I guess you're not!

Most ladies expect you to prove your capability to provide as a man before they accept you for serious relationship that is marriage-bound.

You making no sense of marriage without children does not invalidate another person's desire to be child-free in marriage.....the sky is big enough for all.

Women don't make good companions to men, you can marry your fellow man who share same interests with you then you both decide whose sperm would be used to inseminate a surrogate mother, after she births, you both take custody of the baby and nurture........you don't need a wife nor a baby mama.
God forbid bad thing! I'm not gay and I haven't said that I'll not marry a lady. All I'm saying is that child bearing is very important to me. I also like women for good sex and the feminine warmth they offer. Not really companionship because I know that many married men don't rely on their wives for companionship especially when they have to work at a distant place from their family.

Not everyone's concept of marriage involves birthing children, some choose to be single and having kids then we have those who got married and intentionally being child-free
As far as I'm concerned, it makes no sense getting married in the first place if one doesn't want to have kids. What would they be doing together? Is it the so called companionship which to me is useless to a man because there are a lot of things to keep a man company in this time and age. As a matter of fact, women don't make good companions to men because they usually have different interests from what men find interesting.

She really has nothing to apologize for. I think you should watch your over sized ego before you destroy your marriage.

She should be free to express herself Biko. How can a woman be well educated and not be allowed to express an opinion in 2023.

You have scolded her and expressed displeasure at what she said and that is enough. Move on

This is one of the draw backs of women's education! They'll still hold on to the traditional family setting where the man is expected to provide everything for the family, but they carefully and selfishly discard the aspect that requires them to respect the man and submit wholly to him. Those days, a man's word in his house was law.

No wonder marriage is no longer attractive to modern men.

If you had been on your own, you wouldn't have this issue of encountering 10 bitter women. Na you mess up. You for know better now?
But what that guy is saying is actually true. Most ladies reject the cool guys and go for the so called bad guys who're nothing but players who give no flying fvck except having sex with the ladies until they get their fill and dump them afterwards. Then these ladies become bitter about men generally without minding that the fault was from her choice of men. As a guy, when you come to most Nigerian ladies with HONESTY about yourself and your genuine love for her, she'll most likely reject you. But when you put on the playboy attitudes with lots of lies and borrow pose, they'll accept you.

That's why people like us keep lamenting here about the state of things in our drug markets and regulatory agencies. The rate at which people consume drugs indiscriminately in Nigeria calls for concern.

There is need for a more stringent measure to control drugs in this country. Other countries that don't allow easy access to drugs by untrained people are not fools. Drugs are meant to be used strictly upon prescription by a medical doctor and upon being dispensed and counselled by a qualified Pharmacist. But here even illiterates prescribe and sell drugs! It is wrong!

That is why life expectancy in Nigeria is so low, because drugs kill as much as they can also cure ailments. NAFDAC, PCN and other regulatory agencies need to wake up!

Sometimes I wonder how I'll be racking my head on being the best at my work so I can make money in order to keep my woman and kids happy, and at the same time worry myself on how to keep her.

I believe that there are wise ladies out there from good homes with good upbringing who'll understand that she doesn't have to stress a man so much to meet her mundane expectations provided he's doing well in the aspect of providing for his family.

Forget that thing o. A typical Nigerian lady expect you to prove that you're capable of caring for her and her offsprings. While a few immature ones would be concerned about the infatuation which y'all call 'love', the majority of Nigerian girls would go for guys who are financially capable and generous. You just have to prove your capability to be the man and breadwinner of the house.

What we have in Nigeria are pseudo feminists who like to think they're feminists whilst still clutching tightly to all the undue benefits patriarchy gave to women. If you claim to be a feminist whilst still wanting men to fight wars alone, provide for family alone, open car doors for you, pay your bride price, come out at night and face anything threatening the family etc, you're nothing but a confused human being and should go to hell with your feminism.

See as this girl smartly got married to Ned without listening to pseudo feminists who would have deceived her into believing that she had all the time while jumping from one d1ck to another until menopause catches up with her.

No wonder she easily got pregnant twice and bore healthy kids. That age she got married (16 years) is the best time for any girl to marry and have healthy kids smoothly. Only those who are honest will agree with me. While those who are dishonest or just wanna be seen as 'woke' will disagree.

Young girls! Please try and get married early enough if you don't want to have problem with conception. You'll also stand a chance to enjoy your children while you're still strong. A word is enough for the wise!

They always vote for the candidate they consider as better option regardless of tribe! Of course, every sane Nigerian know that Peter Obi was the best candidate in the last election but tribalism by the other two major tribes cost him the election.

This is why I always advise guys never to pity any lady or look back when they want to dump a lady. Men are always guilt tripped by even fellow men when they want to dump a lady after years of dating. But ladies usually don't pity any guy when they want to move on with other men. Guys, don't listen to anybody who would want you to marry a lady at all cost just because you have dated her for long! Always remember that if tables were turned that same lady would dump your assx without pity regardless how much money you invested in her.

Career / Re: UK Signs Deal To Allow British Lawyers Practise In Nigeria by Jman06(m): 7:07pm On Feb 13
Catapault:

Slave air head.

The only reason you can read and write today is because we gained independence in 1960 and our leaders began building thousands and thousands of schools under the Universal Primary Education (UPE) policy which raised literacy rate from 5% in 1960, after a century of British looting and theft of your resources which left Nigeria an undeveloped BUSH at independence.

Nigerian leaders raised that literacy rate to just over 70% so far. Were it not for them, you would be a village illiterate today. Because mass education was NOT a policy of the colonial administration.

Which is why most of our grandparents were village illiterates.

Look around you and tell me ONE infrastructure or industry or even major hospital that was built by the British in their time here.

One thing you mentally colonised, dumbass white worshipping Nigerians need to understand is that the ONLY REASON a white country will come here to rule or control you is because they want to EXPLOIT YOU.

They’ve been doing this for centuries, yet your thick skulls still see them as angels.

I actually suspect they did some occult thing on you guys to make you so subservient and trusting of them, despite all the terrible atrocities they committed against you and your ancestors, including looting your ancient treasures after burning down your cities and palaces, and mass murdering your people in various colonial invasions.

They actually have your stolen bronze treasures proudly displayed in their museums right now!

Where are the “honest British lawyers and judges” in confronting that theft and brigandage?

Honest fuckries.

You're actually the airhead here, because it is on record that we had the best of education during the colonial era with university of Ibadan being a campus of the university college London. Many of our professors and professionals today were educated by the colonial masters. Then Nigerians didn't need visa to travel abroad and many were offered scholarships to study in choice universities abroad.

Infrastructures done by colonial masters were of high quality. Those roads and bridges constructed by the British colonial leaders stood the test of time. Our people got the best of healthcare as British doctors were the ones in charge of healthcare. Same British doctors were the ones who later trained our people on orthodox medicine which then replaced our crude and ineffective traditional medicine practice.

The list goes on

South Africa is much more developed today than Nigeria because the colonial masters stayed longer there compared to Nigeria that hurriedly got Independence only for our evil and selfish politicians to start looting our common wealth instead of developing the country. Sometimes, I wish that the colonial masters stayed longer in Nigeria. I'm sure the country would have been better than it is today.

I wish the UK lawyers could even go further to take over practice of human rights laws, electoral laws, criminal laws etc. It'll be so interesting because I trust the white man to do the right thing no matter whose ox is gored.

Unlike our corrupt charge and bail lawyers, the UK lawyers would not be taking bribes from government and wealthy individuals to pervert the course of justice.

Unfair comparison.

Nigeria is like the India of Africa. Huge population, economic powerhouse, big tech sector, large and growing middle/upper class, and millions and millions of poor people, plus overall poor infrastructure compared to neighbouring smaller populations like Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Thailand etc.

Truth is that it is FAR EASIER, QUICKER, AND CHEAPER to develop a nation of 20 million compared to a nation of 230 million.

Far less number of roads, schools, hospitals etc are required.

Far less number of cities and towns and villages needing fixing.

A country like Ghana has only one real city, Accra. The rest are glorified villages.

Ghana may have 4,000 km of tarred roads, and they'll be ok.

Nigeria has 100,000 km of tarred roads, but needs 200,000 more to cover everyone!

Then some Ghana dude goes on social media and says ''our roads in Ghana are better than in Nigeria!'

Well of course they are better because you only have 2 roads!

''We have constant light in Ghana''.

Actually you don't. Power cuts are back there. Which is pretty disgraceful as you have only 8 million households to power up, while Nigeria has 150 million! undecided

The truth is Ghana is actually doing terribly considering their small population and huge natural resources from crude oil to gold and cocoa.

They should be doing far better than they are doing.

I guess once they feel they're 'better than Nigeria', they're okay.

Nigeria is endowed with more natural and human resources than Ghana! Agreed we are populated but we have more than enough resources which when properly explored and the proceeds judiciously utilized can put Nigeria in same league as the wealthy Arab nations such as the UAE.

We shouldn't be measuring d1ck with small Ghana if not that our leaders have failed to develop our country.
