HealthRe: Pharmacies In Nigeria Are About To Change Forever – Cpacpi Framework by Jman06(m): 1:38pm On Apr 29
Yampotatocarrot:
...Soon, your local pharmacy may not just dispense medicines – it could be your first stop for healthcare advice, preventive care, and trusted guidance.

Isn't that what they currently do, even according to the write-up?

I stand to be corrected, but I don't think there's anything in the proposal that's different from what pharmacies all over the country are currently doing.

On a side note, those in the medical field should help out with these. There are people that "learn work" in a pharmacy before opening their own, while hanging the certificate of a certified pharmacist as their consultant, and those girls that "learn nursing" in a hospital and in one year, they become nurses and now give injections and treat people operating on the same level as those that go to nursing school... Are both cases legal?
They are illegal! Those are quacks and are usually severely punished when caught. They're death traps and should be done away with if we want to have a strong healthcare system

No problems. The marriage course I'm attending now has even taught me that marriage is about self-giving to my spouse.

It's same in Ebonyi state too.
PCN should do more in this regards.

PoliticsRe: Ban On Drugs Import: Pharmacists Commend Policy, Seek Presidential Committee by Jman06(m): 1:14pm On Apr 28
This is a welcome development. We need to grow our economy through increased local manufacturing of our medicines.

As a side note, PSN and ACPN national bodies should call national PCN's attention to the rots currently being witnessed in Enugu state's pharmaceutical ecosystem. During the era of Pharm Elijah Muhammed, enforcement activities were being carried out frequently and everyone was on their toes doing the right thing. Now, charlatans have taken over! This is very dangerous to lives of health-seeking people in the state.

To take in means to get preggy

josite:
Is this not unpatriotic guy who left the power ministry because he want s to bid for government power contracts ?
That guy is one of the most patriotic Nigerians you can think of. He left his comfort zone in the US since going to 4 decades now and has been in Nigeria ever since while contributing immensely to Nigeria's development!

He was set up by enemies of Nigeria's progress and that led to his resignation as power minister then. I wish Tinubu would be wise enough to bring him back on board to revive our failing power sector.

HealthRe: My Sister Died After Doctor Forgot Scissors In Her Stomach – Beady Nnanna by Jman06(m): 8:46pm On Apr 27
From the way that doctor was talking about waiting for the autopsy, I'm sure he must be gearing up towards compromising the result of the autopsy. Most private hospitals in Nigeria are death traps where all manner of malpractices take place. They're just out to rip people off their monies in the name of treatments!

Government needs to intervene and protect Nigerians from untimely deaths due to medical negligence! Special body should be set up to regulate activities in all the hospitals. Such bodies should be empowered to facilitate prosecution and punishment of erring hospitals and medical doctors!

Many of these doctors will not pay attention to improving the rots in the system but would instead indulge in trying to usurp the duties of other healthcare professionals in the hospitals and stifling the growth of these other professionals while the various specialities in medicine rot away! Too bad!

LMAO. Ok ,but why all countries affected not coming together to force the SA government to deal with this immigration crisis once and for all?. Why are all these governments so nice to SA?
Still a matter of leadership failure!
Foreign AffairsRe: 2 Nigerians, Amaramiro Emmanuel & Ekpenyong Andrew Killed In South Africa by Jman06(m): 8:01pm On Apr 27
Lionessza6:
LMAO. Who will do the sanctioning first and have you asked yourselves why other African governments don't directly chastise the SA government about this immigration issue. But issue statements and silly summons. Why is AU and UN not engaging SA and the governments affected openly?
It is because the leaderships of both AU and UN have failed in their core responsibilities of protecting human lives. If they had lived up to their responsibilities, SA would have since been severely sanctioned for her perchance for extra judicial killing of fellow Africans.
Foreign AffairsRe: 2 Nigerians, Amaramiro Emmanuel & Ekpenyong Andrew Killed In South Africa by Jman06(m): 7:49pm On Apr 27
South Africa needs to be sanctioned and boycotted by the rest of Africa. The barbaric act of killing fellow Africans on flimsy excuses should stop! Human lives are not this cheap!

This is all shades of wrong!

RomanceRe: Who Does He Love The More? by Jman06(m): 4:59pm On Apr 21
He loves Brenda but might end up marrying Amanda. When men want to marry, they most times throw away emotions and marry loyalty. Even family and friends would encourage him to marry who's loyal.
EducationRe: Please, Help My Nephew Choose A Good Course Of Study Under Basic Medical Science by Jman06(m): 1:44pm On Apr 21
FreeStuffsNG:
Nursing is his choice. OP stated it, please refer to it so you will not confuse others.

He can write JAMB again or consider changing choice of institution to one with lesser standards of admission criteria for nursing. The issue with that is that we know why he ended up studying nursing in such mediocre schools.

There is B.Sc Radiology.

I wonder why you are ignorant of the information yet type authoritatively with ignorance. Smh.

All these things are basic knowledge nah. You can study Radiology and obtain B.Sc Radiology.
Since when has Nigerian universities started offering BSc Radiology? Maybe it's a recent development, so enlighten me please. I know that for all the period I did JAMB and studied JAMB brochure, I never saw Radiology at BSc level aside Radiography.
EducationRe: Please, Help My Nephew Choose A Good Course Of Study Under Basic Medical Science by Jman06(m):
Radiology is not done as a separate course in Nigeria but is studied at postgraduate (residency) level in medicine. Perhaps you meant Radiography which is a good course but that score of 219 might not get him the course especially if his choice of university is competitive.

As for the other courses, instead of him to study those ones, he should rather wait and rewrite JAMB.
PoliticsRe: Army Decries Low South-east Enrolment, Only 117 From Anambra by Jman06(m): 9:30pm On Apr 19
Tailorcaesar:
Back in 2018, right after finishing NYSC. I enrolled for the Nigerian Army here in Onitsha, after going the the rigorous surety and obtaining signatures from LGA and traditional rulers, I entered camp, I engaged in all the sporting and educative activities in the camp, when the names came out I saw my name written boldly that I wasn't shortlisted, that I can neither read nor write. mind you I just finished my NYSC, whereas so many people from the north where in our camp, and their names got shortlisted under Anambra, I know one Musa Muhammad who can't read out his name in English was shortlisted.

These are one of the few reasons why so many igbos refused to enrol in the NIGERIAN ARMY
Exactly my brother! Don't mind the yeye Nigerian army! I had similar experience as yours. When I finished NYSC after my first degree, I also applied for the Short service combatants commission. At the end, they couldn't enlist me due to their nepotism and corruption.

It is when they want to gather some pawns that they want to send to be killed by Boko Haram you'll hear them talking about southeast youths not wanting to enlist. Igbo youths are too smart to fall for all these their nonsense talks. A country that would release hardened terrorists and call them "repentant" is not worth fighting for. A country where some soldiers owe their allegiances to the Islamic terrorists groups and set up their fellow soldiers for ambush by terrorists is definitely not worth fighting for.
FamilyRe: “I Blame My Mother For Being Unmarried At 37” – Woman Shares Emotional Story by Jman06(m): 8:16pm On Apr 17
See blame game! So, this lady is trying to imply that all the while she lived abroad, her mum was there blocking her from getting married? And some people believed her.
She should admit the fact that she failed to get a man to marry due to her bad attitude and high expectations from their potential husbands.

The topic in front page about ladies being brutal with their choices of men to marry is largely responsible for the alarming number of single ladies at their older ages. They set unreasonable standards and then when they realise later that they can't have such men they resort to blaming anybody.
FamilyRe: Are We Really Pampering Kids Into Stupidity? by Jman06(m): 2:34pm On Apr 12
That's one of the many consequences of the so called civilisation. Our value systems have been eroded greatly and people now live without a sense of community that made life meaningful in the times past. No wonder depression is now so common among people.
RomanceRe: Can A Man Still Love Her Like This?(photo) by Jman06(m): 8:36am On Apr 12
What stopped her from shaving the armpits?

So long as she shaves her armpits and pubic areas thoroughly, she's good to go. Some of us still like clean hairs in strategic parts of the female body.
