If anyone thinks of something profitable and viable in a clime, he/she should go ahead and invest his/her fund into it, and stop attacking others investing in other sectors by asserting it’s saturated. Even people praising ohakim now for his clean and green initiative have now suddenly forgotten how he was heavily criticized. How the only thing he could achieve was planting flowers. Like I said before. Beauty of a state is not one sided. There are aggregated factors that contribute to total beauty of a state not just good roads.

First criteria is an organized/grid system that gives you a platform to
a) tar mapped out roads as much as possible. with sidewalks and closed drainages
b) Land scaping

Second is quality of structures (both residential and commercial)

The south east cities are generally beautiful and organized. That some sub components of the first criteria is ongoing, doesn't take away the beauty.

All are from orlu and okigwe (ohakim). Correct me if I'm wrong. So the people have nothing to do with it. Like I said earlier, once a governor in Nigeria sets out his mind to do something, he will achieve it(especially if it has to do with development).
Therefore, I make strong my case that most people speak ill because of political differences. Previous comments on nairaland have pointed to that .


Guide: how you will know that it is political is this; they will tell you a road is bad. But they won't tell you that construction is ongoing on those roads.

It may interest you to know that the reason most people speak ill of the city is just because of differing political views. And forgetting that this governors irrespective of party lines are the same. Some appear like angels initially and turn into something else later. And that's part of the reasons the black people are poor(not necessarily lack of cash). They don't encourage ingenuity. They(Nigerians especially) do not see another path to collective prosperity asides oil money and federal allocation.

Even Nkwere in Imo state is a sight to behold. Even finer than most cities in Nigeria. I was there for an event last month.
