Chelsea will challenge Liverpool for the title because of squad depth. A win at Newcastle (a very tough opponent for Chelsea) without the supposed CFC best player in pulisic is an indication of "intent"... |
McTominay:You are still talking about Chelsea of 4 matches to the season. We are talking of the current Chelsea side |
ba7man:You maybe shocked they have more than that. They could be playing their first card of agenda |
He also mentioned that for 60 years you have no 24/7 light. No roads, poor education. Health sector in shambles etc But what fascinates me about black people is that you won't get up to 2 pages in this section expressing their disappointment on Nigeria. Any of their protests is always mediocre. you have never protested about the faulty foundation because it is for the good of everybody. You have never protested about the huge salaries of the national assembly because it is for the good of everybody. But you can protest against endsars because it affects mostly the south or you can protest against insurgency because it affects only the north. Doesn't this give a pointer that you are technically balkanized? |
Elose11:It is normal to react like this especially when most black people learn stereotyped garbages in school in the name of academic degrees. It is philosophy that provokes logical thinking. I think what you should ask yourself is, "who gave the name Biafra and how was the name Biafra given?". Was the name Biafra given to assemble people into nationhood or for mere free trade zones(through the waters especially)? If you listened well he said the name can be changed under a unified southern nation. But we know who gave the name "Nigeria" and we know the name Nigeria never existed till the white man named you Nigeria" The logical intentions is not totally centered on the meaning but that what you can't do in Europe (renaming a nation) is what you accepted. |
xcon:My brother no body has exclusive rights of determining which is fake news or not now in Nigeria. Because the country itself is not lawful enough. But look at it from the angle that a media propaganda against a particular region (south east), not viable, not safe and all that could still turn out to be a place people come in to make so much money. I keep saying it. All life is precious ; from the terrains of Ngala to the Virgin areas of mambila. from the lonely route of 9th mile to the upper parts of okigwe. From eastern heartland to the coastal areas of the south. Do not rejoice when people are oppressed because you may have a feel of it someday. WHAT IS HOLDING BACK THE BLACK MAN IS IN HIS HEAD! |

It seems the only constant in this whole equation is a certain fugitive (if you like) Nnamdi kanu -Same woman who was being used by them to abuse the fugitive ( at least reward her for a good job naa) -Those who just realized the brutality of police and which was being sung by the fugitive in the past We are still doing "hide and seek" with restructuring .... and your guess is good as mine! |
NSK4U:You reason properly. Kudos |
I read some comments of people suggesting; "end sars isn't important" ...but "end corruption , reform Police" etc is more important. The truth is that none is more important than the other and all is rarely important. The earlier we discuss the structure of Nigeria and the ambiguous/confusing/suspicious contents of it's Constitution, the better for everybody. WHAT IS HOLDING BACK THE BLACK MAN IS IN HIS HEAD! |
So because an official just made a mere pronouncement, then a peaceful protest should stop? I feel pity for the blacks. The aim of protest is to be assured of a favourable result. And if the protesters ain't satisfied, they have the right to continue. It isn't really about the motive, it's about human rights for me. WHAT IS HOLDING BACK THE BLACK MAN IS IN HIS HEAD. |
ItsTime4me:That's partly because natural wingers ain't available yet. There was a bit of counter attacking football experienced in the last match ..but because crystal palace sat deep most of the time , you couldn't notice it much. Remember the powerful run by Havertz through the middle to release Werner? |
mywells:Which one is stories. Can Barkley break into first team of any top 3 team in Epl, la liga or bundesliga? My brother ..all man get en levels. There's what is called consistency. A very big factor to justify a selection in top teams |
ItsTime4me:I read the game a lot. Let me give u a Little secrete. Havertz is playing a reserved kind of football because he is waiting for the right partners. He looks slow when you watch him on TV but he is not. He doesn't waste passes on counter . He is actually hidding something. Now check the distance of the ball he recovered at the 18 yard box from the defender of crystal palac(that won the penalty) and tell me if he is slow. Lol Very intelligent player. Lampard knows this. Just trying to burn out mount, Hudson Abraham before international break |
Ustec:Nope. Barkley is at Aston Villa's level. I would rather he brings in Thomas partey available @ 45mil not Declan rice. If partey partners ngolo with harvetz in front (flanked by pulisic and ziyech), then u will have memories of the old Chelsea ..trust me |
HoluGraze:Lol. Prophet .. Just wake up ..other teams are becoming deadlier. Just pray for a top 4 finish. No team in epl can withstand CFC on the long run cus of squad depth. Just only mane oh. But we have two dangerous wingers (pulisic and ziyech) yet to play |
fineyemi:Shock absorber. Just as you struggled to win your last. Bro wake up. You have a wack team that will never fail to disappoint Nov/Dec as usual |
ABANGWABOI:All these arsenal fans. Wait till you guys pass your normal December festival |
proxillin:My bro no mind them.only CFC looks to be consistent on the long run because of squad depth. Others are just doing "initial garagara" . By December, santa Claus will come nocking. |
StatmanTolu:Because of a 2nd tier domestic cup? . He is yet to be in the class of lampard and that's because He ain't playing in the UCL. Both ain't world class yet. But lampard qualified CFC with a very average side on paper last season |
RonaldoVido:We all know what happens to arsenal when santa Claus visits. Wait till then Lol |
Abagworo:The camera is okay. We mustn't edit pictures of common roads to look appealing. This is a picture of a road in owerri. Everything shouldn't be about editing.
|
selemempe:My brother calm down. No insults please. If you ask me, I think most politicians(past and present) and irrespective of the tribe is not worth naming a road after because of obvious corrupt practices. Now the problem is this, if every nairalander will agree with me on this, will all agree with me that all factors contributing to this legendary corrupt practices be looked into, while we suspend election matters for now? That is where the black man would manifest. See some of Such factors - the Constitution of Nigeria (which for me has so many unclear articles than can be manipulated by the high and mighty) - issue of federalism. And resource control Now don't get it wrong . This will not immediately stop corruption or fix job problems in Nigeria which is also peculiar to other countries of the world. But will create a better environment for prosperity. |
Hmmm op.... Even with bars, hotels and malls, still doesn't look lively. Nigerians should learn how to make entertainment centers a mega million venture. Enough of oil money (without refineries) and monthly allocations. See Owerri the entertainment CAPITAL of Nigeria ...
|
Moventist:Why do people use enhancement for road pictures in Nigeria? |
Hehehe. Can man u survive the next 6 Epl fixtures? Brighton,Spurs, Newcastle,Chelsea, arsenal,Everton |
Do you know people are working in large farms in Imo State and making a fortune currently. Though not in owerri capital. Farms owned silently by notable Imolites. But you keep hearing the rhetoric of "it's only Hotels in owerri" as if the hospitality industry is not a major stake in most economies when properly enhanced. WHAT IS HOLDING BACK THE BLACK MAN IS IN HIS HEAD! |
Someone said coconut refinery! Sometimes I wonder why the black behaves this way. You are complaining of bad economy and lack of jobs, yet you are discouraging jobless people from making use of a life time opportunity because of political reasons or differing backgrounds. But the politicians you fight for still have a way of awarding contracts/jobs to themselves. It may take up to 30 years to complete a university course on a Black man's life successfully. WHAT IS HOLDING BACK THE BLACK MAN IS HIS HEAD |
JastSiryin:Let me assume you didn't watch the match yesterday. From my observation, Chelsea is not ready to play 90% possession like last season and still draw or lose matches if that's what you want. |
proxillin:Nope. Not like they are changing the whole team. Just missed fast wingers (pulisic and ziyech) who would do the damage With chilwell on the left and Silva at CB . The core of kante and kovacic will be maintained. So even if lampard fields either of mount or Havertz. Chelsea is good to go. Nothing really new to blend just already established wingers didn't play yesterday Let's not take it away from the guys that played yesterday. They have more experience now. You and I know CFC wouldn't score up to 3 goals last season with the squad that played yesterday |

it's not only about the big names on your team sheet, but also about tactics. I'm an Arsenal fan, even i know that the EPL trophy this season would be asking too much. But i do fancy my chances at making it to the Top4, and upsetting some contenders this season. Most especially if we can do the business before the transfer window closes.
