eyenCalabar: What is actually the problem of eating dog meat? Yesterday, a NL member complained of his American bulldog from South Africa missing and everybody were pointing accusing fingers at Calabar people. I was just laughing as I read through the pages. I couldn't even comment.

Yes, we eat dog but not that type that looks like a human being and very ugly. Let me put you in the light, dog meat is the best meat ever. Just that you have not tasted it before so you'll want to argue with that. People that have knows. It is very delicious and I tell you brothers and sisters, if you've not tasted it before, you are missing big time. You wanna try? Well, when next you visit Calabar, ask anybody to direct you to Atimbo after Navy Barracks. That's where we have the dog meat hotspot. You'll be amaze. You'll see that it's not only a Calabar thing. Even the Abokis we have around, they'll just pack their Mack Truck after a hectic day carrying cement from UNICEM to enjoy with us. We have taught them and now they are enjoying their lives. After eating, the sweetness would just be sparking in their brains and they'll be calling our girls " nyariya" . To crown it all, this is even the secret we always deliver in our "home work" very well. You wanna try me? Just like dog strength in running, so we'll run you ad-infinitum. So stop the stigmatization and jealousy because it won't stop us from enjoying our dog meat anyday anytime.


And am challenging you all beginning from Seun to give yourself a trial today. That Seun that his face is always looking like a 10yr old after taking dog meat, he'll be very bold just as dogs are always very bold. Lolz (just joking o abeg Seun before u'll ban me o). Well, to cut the long story short friends, just give yourself a trial and you'll be convinced then confession would follow that dog meat is indeed great. May dogs never run dry in our land.

Am frm Akwa Ibom, and i av never tasted dog meat and will never taste it but i've bin to Atimbo to eat plantain several times. That place is a spot i tell you.

Saw this on a friend's wall and decided to share.

1 - DON'T SLEEP WITH WATCH. Watch can emit a certain level of radioactivity. Though small, but if you wear your watch to bed for a longtime, it might have adverse effects on your health.

2 - DON'T SLEEP WITH BRA. Scientist in America have discovered those who wear bras for more dan 12hours have a high risk of getting breast cancer. So go to bed without it.

3 - DON'T SLEEP WITH PHONE. Putting the phone beside your bed or anywhere near you is not encouraged. Though some of us will use phones as alarm clocks, but please put the phone as far as possible. Scientists have proved that electrical items including mobile phones and television sets emit magnetic waves when used. These waves can cause disruptions to our nervous system. Therefore if you need to put your mobile phone near you, switch it off first.

4 - DON'T SLEEP WITH MAKE - UP. People who sleep with make-up might have skin problems in the long run. Sleeping with make-up will cause the skin to have difficulty in breathing and problem in perspiring. You will also need a much longer time to go into deep sleep. Lastly & Most important

5- DON'T SLEEP WITH PANT ON- To get fresh and odorless vagina you are to go to bed pant-less for free access of fresh breeze

6 - DON'T SLEEP WITH OTHER PEOPLE'S WIVES OR HUSBANDS. Scientists are of d opinion that one may never wake up again; and if this happens?? DISGRACE AWAITS,as in, one will like to be picked up dead, by loved ones from such a place to the Morgue!...

This is the best thread ever since i joined Nairaland. @OP, nice work, will sure save this for myself and my unborn kids.

1. Guys love to marry an Independent and Matured lady... So instead of sitting there and waiting to be bluffed by a guy, focus on getting a career that would take you out of the house wife category...

2. Never let the sweet talks of MOST guys deceive you, sometimes all they just want is to have easy access between your legs and run off thereafter.

3. Remove the mentality from your mind that guys will keep springing up to approach you. The older you get by the day, the less toasters you will have.

5. Never extort things from a guy you don't love, guys always have ways of paying a girl back, either through their FRIENDS or total 'PAID' STRANGERS....BE CAREFUL.

6. Never be deceived you can trap a guy through sex. A man will also return to his wife who sex starves him for years once he loves and trust her. You can never win a man over with your body.

7. If all you take to the relationship is the mind set to EXTRACT MONEY from him, don't complain if all he ask from you is your body. He has seen you have nothing else to offer...

8. Don't be fooled when Guys tell you they have never met a prettier girl, they will say that same thing to an 80year old woman they want to get intimate with.

9. A guy always taking you to the SILVER-BIRD, FAST FOOD (pizza in or galitos), MALL AND EVENTS AT CONFERENCE CENTER/NATIONAL THEATER is no sign that he loves you, if he doesn't care to ask and PLAN YOUR FUTURE TOGETHER then you are just his 'SOCIAL MATE' and nothing else....

10. If the only time he invites you over is when he needs to cook, clean the house and do his laundry, then just know you are his "executive house help".

11. If he avoids meeting your family and close friends then it is an obvious sign he is just playing games with you.

12. Don't always change the TV station from NTA to CHANNEL O, MTV and Fashion TV. Take time to find out what is bothering him and how you can help out.

13. If the only places he doesn't frown when you enter are his bedroom and kitchen then know you aren't welcome (only being used).

Have you noticed that most of the ladies that end up being emotionally abused are the ones at the receiving end... Always with open arms, requesting for something and ready to receive... The more you widen your arms, the more he widens your legs.
