Be careful with these people they rush their food. They are all fetish. I have learnt my lessons in a hard way during my days in school. We have passed out when we later heard the woman we rush her food and sneak out of hostels to eat has a big wound in her leg that she washes in her soup. She was made to confess round the city and I wanted to vomit my intestines when the news reach me.

No doubt, their foods are delicious but it's stupid for you to queue for so long and even wash plate by yourself just to buy amala when you can cook same at your home or ask someone who can cook to cook it for you.
Stop believing rumours. Spreading bad news about the reigning alamala is one of the bad competition strategies among Amala seller.
Eating Amala at home and eating it in a joint is like watching football at home and watching it in View centre. You should deduct the differences

Iyadunni Alamala In Oyo (She's The Head Of Food Carteen In Oyo State)
There are two Iyaduuni alamala in Ibadan. The one you have mentioned and the other one that has her headquarter in Olomi. She owns another one in Saw mail area and opposite NNPC mega station near Bashorun over head bridge.
But the best Amala in Ibadan land is Ose Olorun (Skylolo) Bodija market, opposite Wema Bank, near Sky bank.

Which Buhari is trying? That Tin Can truck park has been going on before Buhari came to power. It should have been completed long before now. It has taken forever. The FG killed Apapa.
There was a government that usually begin projects without completing after many years. There is also a government that started completing the projects abandoned by her precedesor. It is good for the nation.

I am also an Ibadan indigene.

To guess my age and knowledge of the city:

I used to go to Kingsway, Leventis, UTC, Scala, Odeon, KS Cinema. I saw Haruna the Gorilla at UI. I rode in brand new taxi cabs in Ibadan. I used public telephone in Ibadan. I am an indigene.

As long as we're talking Ibadan then we have to be all inclusive. Those that live in Apata, Elebu has the same right to claim Ibadan as those living in Beere, Foko, Opo Yeosa, Agugu.

Yes, we are talking intra city traffic. Is gate not in Ibadan? Is it not a few meters from the center of Oyo state government?[/quote

You can have an Asiwaju not an Oba in diaspora.

Except you have computer brain, or you lack discipline, or you don't even know why you are in church. If people didn't take notes, how will we have Bible. Imagine if Moses was just nodding as God was speaking to him. He'll probably forget 80% of what God said. How many will you see to read today? [/quote
So it was Moses himself who wrote the book of Exodus and others. How was he able to narrate the story of his birth?

Fashion / Re: Lagos TAILOR Freedom List by Jobabori(m): 12:19pm On May 07, 2019
No reasonable Oga will ask the apprentice to bring these listed items for " freedom". If he does, nobody will learn from him again and those in training will run to complete their learning in another place. The Ogas were not bound to use the list in entirety. Bear it in mind that majority of the apprentices were more like from poor background. No sane Oga will enforce this bogus, inconsiderate list.

I think Lagos should learn from abuja on how it operates its markets
They allow shop owners to come together and an election is been conducted for positions, despite the shop owners having its excos ,AMMA(FCT ) still exercises its duties(security, sanitation,
While shop owners help in settling disputes between shop owners n customers and also cubbing thuggery touting, fighting etc
The tradition in Lagos ( Yoruba) is different from Abuja ( Gwari). Every market in Yoruba land should have an Iyaloja and Babaloja. There can be an elected executive as you suggested and I think there is one on ground but for tradition, there should be an Iyaloja and Babaloja who are ceremonial heads without executive power but with due respects and honours.

This story about Blessing trending now is NOT true... She was never admitted in St Luke's and she's NOT a maid... She's a niece to my friend and she has been living with him and his wife for years... I have investigated the issue... she was not injured deliberately, she slipped on the floor while having an argument with her uncle's wife in the kitchen over a little misunderstanding...

It was just an unfortunate domestic incidence that was mismanaged by a rude little girl who never knew the consequences of her actions...
What are you trying to justify?. May your daughter experience such a "domestic incidence". May your daughter not be "injured deliberately'. May your daughter also " slipped on the floor" as you claimed to justify wickedness. Amen.

The folowers of late Lam Adesina, fondly called Lamis were the core members of the unity forum. They brought ADC to Oyo state. They left APC due to high-handedness and dictorial posture of Ajimobi. Shitu may secretly work with them but he did not openely alligned with them. Though they did not won a single parliamentary seat, but the absence of thier votes was responsible for the loss APC suffered in the state. If they were with APC, the catastrophe that Ajimobi brought to the party in the state could have been avoided. Ajimobi, a self - centered leader.

Despite what others may have against Bindow, he is an achiever in road construction. He has a record in that field that may be difficult to beat over a period of time.

Business / Re: How To Make Money Running A Day Care Service Business In Nigeria by Jobabori(m): 8:59pm On Mar 17, 2019
Daycare is not solely about money making. Passion and love of children is the first requirement. This is followed by training for the task There are requirements and standard for setting up a daycare center in national Policy for Early Childhood Development ( I hope I get the name of the document correct). Part of these requirements are also outlined in NCCE minimum standard for Early Childhood Education. There is no need to employ a retire nurse or others as nannies now as Colleges of education now trained caregivers for this level.
